And as for China, I just want to see Sumail participate the TI again with his new squad, Team Aster.

ASTER is really strong this year. I am looking at the participants for China Qualifier, and I think there is no team that can compete against Team Aster. Maybe the closest competition will be IG or Xtreme Gaming. But based on the last competition they had; Aster is the throw-in to reach TI this year. Expect Sumail in TI 2023.
Only a few strong teams have participated on this qualifiers and it's only PSG.LGD that have been qualified and got a direct invite through DPC points.

I agree with you about Bleed, this team despite a lot of positive expectations it seems that they deserve the slot.

I think Execration deserves the slot more. This year, they have been consistently in the top 3 on all three tours. They just fell short to qualify for TI. It is their last chance to get on the top since the top dogs in SEA are already qualified for TI.

It will be a tough competition between the teams in this SEA qualifier. There is only one slot open, and 14 teams vying for that slot. It will not be as tough as WEU, but I am sure it will still be good to watch.

The matches for SEA qualifiers will begin a week from now so these teams still have a lot of time to prepare.
Yes, they've been good with all of the tournaments that they have been. But looking at their performances, they're inconsistent and that's why if they ever have been good with the last run that they've got. Instead of BB taking the slot, it should have been them. Just a little more points and they should have been the qualified team. I know how it feels and how sad it was for them when they fell shortly but that's how this DPC points system goes.

The bracket and matches for Dota 2, TI qualifiers for all regions have been set already. The format this time isn't too complicated, it's like that the start is on the playoffs already. While the WEU region is on a full blast for the participating teams there as they'll be having two slots. Looking at the EEU region is something new and it's likely that we're going to see a new team with new names as well despite having one slot only there and I've just noticed there that, there's two NaVi, Jr. and the main team so I probably missed that Valve allowed this again. And going on the Chinese region, this is going to be a disappointing qualifier for most teams there, only one slot but too many strong teams. While in the SEA region, one slot too and it's like a tough qualifier there as well.
The rule you've mentioned for TI is still there, so having two or more teams from the same org is probably okay when that rule is in place. It only matters when both of them qualify for TI and will be forced to pick from one of the two teams.

I understand now, thanks. So the rule about only one team for TI is still there but if it's about qualifiers, they're allowing it.

The slot for the SEA is good enough, I think Bleed deserves it the most, but for China, it's tough when there are a few good teams like AR and XG that can shock the other teams on the international stage.

APOLOGIES TO ALL!

I'm truly busy earlier because it is my sister's bday so we had some gathering and tonight (it's night time here) I have many tasks I need to attend to that's why I just got online more than an hour ago. I returned the fund to the rightful owner. I'm really the owner of this old account. I came back here in this forum because I really need to have an additional income because I'm a breadwinner and my uncle was hospitalized and he has no family so I wanted to help him and I remember this forum because few years ago, it is one of my sources of income. Anyways, I'm glad that everything's okay now. Have a good day/night to all!
Welcome back, man!
I guess that there's not that much changes from when you've stopped and as you came back now, you're pretty much familiar with things around the forum and with all of those stuffs that includes campaigns and etc. I wish that your uncle a speedy recovery and you're a good guy that helps out a relative that doesn't have someone on their back but you. Also, belated happy birthday to your sister.  Wink
Wish all of you the best.

I agree with bitmover about not needing it. When I've encountered some of these things in stores that do accept crypto or any wallet that we can just scan the QR, that's easier without being charged of 1% and don't need to be asked for KYC. There are third party services for merchants that they can use for free and let the conversion done by that service, I'm not just sure if many of them do charge but I think majority of them are for free and does only a few commission through fees when transactions and transfers are being done.

Just make it easy and buy Bitcoin on PayPal directly. But if you want to do it on Bitstamp, as said, you're fine.

1. Explore crypto articles. to learn about digital currencies and how they work.
2. Go to Finances. and select Crypto from the dashboard.
3. Choose your crypto. select Buy, and choose the amount you'd like to purchase.

Yes, there's still market on it. But before doing anything else, that's why you need to conduct your own market study and research so that you will have the idea if it's sellable in your place. Start with local market study and from there, you'll gather information if the interest is there from the people in and within your locale. I am sure that there is but selling these stuff requires patience, it's not going to click easily when you don't make a way to let the people know what you're selling.
1908  Other / Archival / Re: KuCoin can still be used without KYC on: August 06, 2023, 03:52:58 PM
This makes me wanna go back to my kucoin account since I haven't fulfilled yet the KYC after all the announcements they've made. In fairness to OKX, giving that for life limit. It might be copied by other exchanges once the regulators becomes stricter on them but I don't see it as something that I'll be able to use. I agree you that it's just like that when they've announced the full implementation of compliance for their customers KYC is just for the sake of plain paper and compliance on them but if this feature won't be gone forever, it's a sure thing that they're just giving us the feature that we all want in brilliant way that in no way won't affect their operations and relations to the government and to their customers.
1909  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn from cryptocurrency as a starter? on: August 04, 2023, 04:06:00 PM
As you've said, trading is hard and you'll have hard time dealing with it being unstable. You still have some other choice and one and the best way is to get employed and be part of a company that will pay you in crypto. There are too many of them and you can check each opening from websites like these;

For sure that the listed companies there and if fortunate enough that you'll be hired, they'll pay crypto of your choice or they prefer for sure. It's just a matter of what foundation you've got already or just apply on those job openings that are great for starters.

So from there when you're employed and getting paid with crypto, that's when you continue and go back to your trading thoughts for which it will help you sustain and gain more experience from it.
1910  Other / Archival / Re: How to manage bitcoin correctly? on: August 01, 2023, 09:24:50 PM
Is it the most reasonable choice to sell BTC now and turn your attention to other investments?
What actually your goal is? Is choosing now still a profit for you? Because if not, you better wait and let the market do the call on what you must do.

If you hold your Bitcoin for many years (as you've said) then you're already aware that the price currently is just temporary. So if you're selling at the current price, you became a weak investor despite of being a hodler for years. Anyway, it's up to you though since we have our own way of thinking.
Can't blame him for having a weak hand but if he's in need and that's the best and final option that he can do, then there's no other way to discourage him in doing so.

Talon has given me a lot of losses in this tournament. I never expected them to win in their matches in the upper bracket. I never bet against them on the lower bracket and just decided to take over maps and still I lost because they just overwhelmingly beat 9Pandas 2-0.
That's sad but at the same time encouraging to see that they're able to win against Gaimin Gladiator. Later on we will see if they'll be ending with a 3rd place against Team Liquid or they'll proceed to the finals against Team Spirit. This Riyadh Masters so far is the best IMHO.
I am sure that many did saw a lot of actions and thought that it's gonna be GG again that will end up with that 1st place cash prize but they don't. I am sure that later on with their match, they're going to ban broodmother so if it's not the first ban, I am sure that they'll remove that hero for zai.  Tongue
1912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 28, 2023, 09:54:44 PM
I've lost on this match. I thought that GG will take Team Liquid but that's a proud moment for Team Liquid especially for Insania since they've always been beaten by GG for the whole year in different tournaments. As for the lower bracket match of GG against Tundra, they've won 2-1 against them. It was a match of former TI winners and major winners.
I also lost my bet on that upper bracket series, but only a portion of it since I got to cash it out before the odds started moving to the side of Team Liquid.

And speaking of GG, they're lucky to get away with a series win against Tundra earlier today. They made an impressive recovery in the games they've won, but I wonder how long they can hold on because it feels like any team can knock them out based on the two playoff series they've played so far.
They've been through with two teams for this day. First with the Quest Esports that has even had a bad ending for Quest on their first game because of technical difficulties. TA2000 even typed "FAIR PLAY" when they're about to go in mid barracks but ended up badly and GG won that moment. The last one was with BetBoom, it was an exhausting day for them and GG should have lost against them ending with 2-1 but still GG proclaimed as the winner. It's hard to be in their position when they've been through serious games and make it or break matches on this lower bracket. Anyway, they will proceed to the next round and will have to wait for the match of winner of Talon and 9Pandas. Even possible to see Team Liquid and GG again in the finals. LOOOL
1913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 26, 2023, 09:42:44 PM
Whilst for GG, they've been beaten by Team Liquid on a 2-1 match. So, GG goes to the lower bracket and will be up against Tundra Esports tomorrow. I think the best match for today is Quest and Talon but I'll see it later after the match of 9Ps and BB.
Team Liquid finally broke the curse and they played really well in the third game snowballing hard in the early game (hitting 10k+ lead) and kept on pressuring GG to defend while they're far behind.

The best match for me is the BB vs 9 Pandas series specifically the first game, 9 Pandas should've won that game, but Kiyotaka made a few costly mistakes that gave BetBoom enough wiggle room for a comeback. They also did well in the first two games and might've been drained in the third game as BetBoom rolled them so hard.
I like the third game since it's a one sided match and Nightfall just given life to another forgotten hero which is the Gyrocopter.
1914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 25, 2023, 10:26:38 PM
BetBoom has an easy path to reach the upper bracket and we might see another Gaimin Gladiators vs BetBoom final if every series goes as expected.

I also believe this. It should have been BB vs GG in Bali Majors if that Pure incident did not happen. Maybe we can witness it this time. They are the best team that can match GG in strength.
That's really possible and they're eager to beat GG because it's always been them that have became champs for many majors and tournaments. On this one, they want to win against them and not just that but also to take that $5M first prize. Right now, BetBoom is against 9Pandas and it's on a tie 1-1. Waiting for the 3rd map to commence. I wouldn't call that throw. One mistake for each game really changes a lot for each games situation and there's the snowballing that do happens for the teams that are under farmed and does a comeback.
I agree the mistakes that some teams make while they're ahead are more punishing than before and that's why we see the early leads they've accumulated go down pretty fast in the mid to late game.
I've been always experiencing this in the pub rank games. And there have been times that we're all mega and did a come back and the same goes that we've destroyed everything and only the throne was left but then we still lost. Dota 2 is a tough game honestly, it's mentally draining and that's why even the pro teams, one mistake becomes a good comeback and a lead doesn't guarantee a win to them. It's going to be a mental break down usually if a team comes back just like what happened with the game of 9Pandas and Team Spirit.

Congratulations to those that have been part of this airdrop. I am always late as I am not optimistic anymore with these airdrops but it seems that there are still some exception with a few project. It's always like this that there's the hype and you get to be a part of it and then when the distribution is done, you only have to wait until the exchanges open the deposits for everyone to dump it. That's usually the cycle of it and you have to be quick on it as the markets are surely going to reflect down when they open the markets on it from exchanges.

9 hours from now, the games are all set and ready for the group stage. The teams are now completed by the other 4 that has got in through the decider matches. I thought 9Panda's aren't going to make it because they did a good job on the first day of the play in but then has been found to have a decider match against Virtus.Pro. This is sad to see that VP isn't as strong as their roster before but still able to get into this tournament that has a lot of prize pool to share to everybody.

I can't catch a single bet on this major so I will just leave it alone and only watch the games. This is pure lottery and a lot of trows happened from 20k networth advantage from teams like TSM , Secret and OG.
I wouldn't call that throw. One mistake for each game really changes a lot for each games situation and there's the snowballing that do happens for the teams that are under farmed and does a comeback.

Despite ATF is really a good position 3, I agree to you that if he stays with Nigma, there should be an adjusted. And from being with OG before, he's a position 1 and that could be the adjustment. I am thinking that Nigma is more with the contract business now and not with the actual competition anymore. Kuroky needs to be just their manager or coach and let the younger ones play with their talents. ATF with the Quest is really a strong dark horse but then, it's all about business and contracts and probably ATF was minisculed by their offer and that's why ATF can't even proceed despite with a go signal from his Nigma management.

ATF is weighing his options and that is just the right thing to do. A few months before TI and a lot of teams can still get him if they wanted him to be in their team. The guy’s got pretty solid mechanics for a carry, though his aggressive play style suits him better in the offlane role, a role in which Nigma and Quest utilized him. He just needs a 4 position support that matches what he wants to do in the lane.
It's gonna be crucial for him if he wants to participate in the TI. I guess that he'll be playing with Nigma on the qualifiers but we all know that he's got a tiny chance to get on with them because of how Kuro and the team was performing, they're truly far from the meta right now.
But if another team is going to take him as a loan through the qualifiers up to the TI if ever lucky, I wonder what team is that. The one successful loan is Sumail. This is a good reason why I guess that kuro is going to push him to be taken as a loan while he's still in contract with them.

Old OG did this really well although they haven’t found much success after a few stints in a few majors.
Possible that he'll take them as a loan as well. It's because they've got no permanent teammates.
1919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 17, 2023, 11:06:12 PM
If Nigma wants ATF they'd have to put him somewhere else, not pos 3. Mind Control is simply just not working on other roles, particularly on support roles given how tuned his gameplay is in the offlane. They can give Ammar pos 1, although I'm not sure if he's effective too on that role as he's been playing pos 3 for quite a while now, and his gameplay really suits the current meta for offlaners. They can put him in mid and try to do something in that position, although not sure if that's a setup that will work in the qualifiers.

Yes, I've got the same story as yours. I've been used to being mocked by those people that were ignorant in Bitcoin but I just endured it and showed them through results that it's a great thing, an asset and investment that they can truly rely on by being patient.
Those were my old and not-so-close friends but that's fine and I just kept quiet until a few years ago and the bull run came. They have seen the results but I'm not bragging it, they're just seeing that I was way too busy from doing my stuff and things until they've noticed everything that I was doing. I just told them that I've sold everything so that they won't bother me anymore. I know that sometimes it's nice to make them see you're winning but I have come to realized that it's best to just have a peace of mind and quiet place so that no people will bother you anymore and you can do and continue whatever stuff you have been doing.
