Ok, apologises..

it looks to me like the IPO is done and we have to make an account number on the testnet so we can get our coins. I'll wait for conformation of that though.
2042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXTL: Next Coin Lite - Officiall Topic - Fair Distribution on: April 08, 2014, 08:06:56 PM

2043  Other / MultiBit / Re: How to sign a message? on: April 08, 2014, 06:56:21 PM
OK Cheers! I actually worked it out by sending a small amount to myself, it only lets you put your own address in. Why they wont let you cut and paste it I don't get but whatever..
2044  Other / MultiBit / How to sign a message? on: April 08, 2014, 06:27:15 PM
I've used Bitcoin for a while now but I never signed a message. I use multibit wallet. My question is if i sign a message do I put my own address or the person I am sending to address in the first top box? There is no cut and paste for some reason so I am unclear how and what your supposed to do.

The explanation here, number 4. is ambiguous, receiving address you are using? Their address or mine?

2045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ANY coin even Attempting Mass Adoption, Seriously!!!! on: April 06, 2014, 06:53:35 PM
Surely NXT or a clone of it will dominate. Once you have a coin that can be converted inside the wallet then people won't look outside it possibly ever again. I mean once you can trade anything in a system why bother with a new system?

Which ever NXT system gets mass usage will win I think. Then it wont be about which coin is best but which system is best. Kind of like saying which currency is best to pay for something from Amazon, in the end the major coins will equal out and stabilize or just die. You will have stable coins and a system most people are committed to.  Also gold and other commodities bought inside NXT will be an important part of the equation of personal wealth or 'money'. Fiat will also play a part until possibly it doesn't.....Once people use this system you won't need sellers to adopt a coin individually cause you will be able to pay in whatever they ask for including fiat.

In many ways NXT or a clone of it is not a simple coin but a new monetary system, which is way more interesting than Karpelcoins...

*Personally I hope Etherieum doesn't become this new monetary system as I don't trust who is involved, ie ex bankers. But my point is whatever wins this space will rule big time..

Does this mean I'm going to get rich from hoarding my Corgicoins?
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ANY coin even Attempting Mass Adoption, Seriously!!!! on: April 06, 2014, 09:26:30 AM
Obviously you can see I am new around here. I have heard about Dogecoin on CNN, Bitcoin is always in the news. What about all the other coins? I am sure all the coins want the general public to learn about them. Can anyone tell me a coin that is marketing itself to the general public in any meaningful way? One that has a real plan? I am really surprised I am asking this question!!! Shocked

NET is probably one of the only coins besides BTC that is accepted at many stores. Check out the list of websites who accept NET on netcoinfoundation.org.

I looked. Its hardly 'at many stores' just a few prepper local stores. Please try harder next time.....
2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are all dying on: April 06, 2014, 05:06:06 AM
NXT or NEM in my opinion is the only serious competitor to Bitcoin. It deserves to be NXT as they are the original coders, but public opinion might make NEM the winner. There is nothing else out there that has any meaningful difference to Bitcoin so why should it compete. Dark coin has anominity which is useful I admit.

The only coin that I know of marketing itself to the general public is Numus : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=543503.0

Their intro video seems to be aimed at people new to cryptos : https://vimeo.com/89947268

This poster is scumbag scammer, he is stealing money through Numus, please check my explanation on the Numus thread if in any doubt.
2050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IPO] Numus (Pow/Pos - Scrypt-Jane) | Decentralized Exchange |Cloud Storage on: April 05, 2014, 10:09:34 AM
I'm sorry to break this to everyone that has already sent bitcoin to Numus but I am going to prove to you that this is a scam!

1.I looked though the guy above Duff-Man's posts, he has been involved in various website designs. He also started a thread the same time as this thread to discuss Numus giving lots of info but claiming he was nothing to do with the project but thought it was interesting. He was aggressive when Numus was criticized or compared to NXT.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=547545.0

2. Its seems he is a website designer who has worked on various projects that are legit like digital coins but he also has worked on a project with ShimalH who is also on this thread cheering Nummus along and acting like he knows nothing. I encourage people to look through Duff-Mans posts and realize he uses almost the same style and logos on his work. I could give loads of links but here's just one example.

a. look for round logo below 'quick':     http://numus.org/#about

b. Look for same on logo on his work here:    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=369985.msg3952297#msg3952297

So above coinmarket project seemed if you look at the thread after trying to get investors dropped off the map Dec 2013.

3. So I conclude Duff-Man working with ShimalH (real or imaginary) has created nothing more than a well made website. The Whitepaper has no real tech knowledge and is just a bunch of promises and nice graphics. So I'm afraid this really is a scam, a quite elaborate one but a scam all the same. Even if the coin actually exists the owner is clearly a lying and deceptive guy with a history of well presented fake IPO's and is nothing more than a good website designer who probably is now wishing he has used some more variety in his logos and style, hehehe

I take Bitcoins for anyone who was going to invest and I have saved them some money and me being so awesome and all.

I think people need to not be fooled by nice websites. People can make this stuff up in a few hours.

I'm not sure a 'real identity' means anything either. Anyone can post some poor schmucks address or just make up one...

Dude, only a retard would not realize this is a scam now. You've been rumbled Duff-Man. So you got exactly the same voice over guy and used exactly the same style of a guy who is a scam artist opening threads pushing Nummus. The same guys involved are on this thread cheering things along, are you friken kidding. You insult my intelligence.

Go away now....

The IPO makes no sense, you will only get a tiny fraction of coins even if you invest a ton of Bitcoin. And its just a fork of Peercoin. Talk about style over substance...

The miners will rape this coin.
Please take your NXT way of thinking and get out. Your reasoning is so bad its just sad.

Hey my friend you are gonna regret the day you ever tried to attack me on this forum.....stay tuned.
2055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I buy Karpelescoin? on: April 04, 2014, 01:11:39 PM
The better question is where can I panic sell this coin?

Its a useless pump and dump.

How about actually reading the OP before making comments. Numus is based on Peercoin source code, but brings about new features such as the cloud storage system. Read the whitepaper first : http://numus.org/whitepaper.pdf then come back and say its just a fork of Peercoin.

Sorry I meant clone not fork...

From the Whitepaper:   "Numus is a new cryptocurrency based on Peercoin source code."

2060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Alts need a blog if they don't already... on: March 31, 2014, 06:13:38 PM
I'm tired of scanning through Alt coin thread trying to spot anything that is genuine and innovative not some stupid pump etc. Plus its hard to follow coins and IPO's I've invested in but can't easily find the thread. Even if I do there is so much to plow through like say NEM thread that you easily miss important news.

So is there a blog that has all important Alt News. I'm not a blogger so don't ask me but someone who likes to use this forum and blog could make a very successful blog if they round up new news from the Alt threads, reporting on new coins, IPO's current market, development in main alts etc.

Anyway I would read it if it was good....
