A small point...Has the error on the first screenshot of the client been mentioned? It says "payment is send"
Obviously it needs to be "Payment is sent" or maybe "payment has been sent".
Plus on the naming service screenshots one window heading is "Cancel Sell Name" Which makes sense but a far better use of English would probably be "Cancel Name Sale" or more simply could be "Cancel Sale"
What do other native speakers think?
What's the usefulness for the average user for the naming service? Anyone know?

still hasn't denied he is not BCNext  lol - maybe qora is also satoshi nakamoto?  Maybe he's better than them.... I'm really liking the straightforwardness of this coin. No teams of developers with muddled goals, no over-complicated communication, no hyping and just no BS basically. A refreshing thing on this forum. The coin will sell itself I think. |

I am very poor in real life.
But after I sold half or my NAS coins that I received for a video for 0.5 Btc, I invested in 4 IPOs (4 x 0.1). And qora is one of them
I hope you do well. People like to think those who make money in crypto are all rich scumbags but many I imagine would normally never get this kind of wealth opportunity. |

Firstly it doesn't deserve that criticism as it was completely open and even extended. Absolutely no sock puppet nonsense with people able to make multiple accounts just a simple get what you put in percentage of the whole. Plus the amount was quite a bit in the end, 128 BTC is not a small amount and so those that put hard BTC down (mostly without escrow) took a risk and even we all thought we had invested in a scam for a while. The only problem I saw is that there are so many scams around and other coins like Exocoin doing similar things then this IPO was just one of many a while back. I also think we need to give those outside the IPO a chance at buying in so an exchange needs to be set up and people shown that they will have a window of time to get some at reasonable prices. This is why I hope we do get on an exchange and not a bunch of crap ones relatively quickly. I say this cause there WILL come a group of haters, you can guarantee it. They will be bitter people who missed the IPO or people who are pushing other coins or just miners who blindly just hate POS as a default. Many however were simply trying to crash the price for their own benefit we saw that alot with NXT with many games played on the exchanges. So as a community we have to defend this inevitable attack and be prepared for it. Personally confident ignoring of attacks is better that meeting it with more attacks or even trying to hard to respond with education. Quiet confidence wins in the end. |

Maybe I shouldn't bother the developer at this stage but I would love to know more about his thoughts on anonymity. He hopes it can be a future feature and referenced Zerocoin. Would like to know more of his plan in this area.

I'm confused. It "reflects the design of the client". You are. That's not the client design. That's how my wallet looks like.  Its just the beta. We don't actually know what the final client will look like, maybe when Qora shows the naming service soon it will also include the final design. Otherwise maybe you should ask for a sneek peak of the design so you can tailor the website to the client. "As far as development goes I am responsible for about 90% of it and there is one other person that helps me out with stuff that is not related to the core like the GUI and API. (The API will be completely reworked before the release.)" |

We need a slogan. We need English native speaker to check texts. Qora, please let me know if you want to put any other information on the website. Next step I'll draw or find icons, put font names / sizes / colors and other info on the top of design and upload files. I guess the perception is that NXT whales lucked out compared to BTC whales.
To have accumulated tens or hundreds of thousands of BTC you would have had to have spent a long, long time mining them or spent a decent amount of cash buying them.
In comparison the NXT whales laid out a fraction of a bitcoin and it landed in their lap a few weeks later so there's less emotional investment on their part.
Now I'm sure there are many, many people devoting masses of time and effort to NXT but that wouldn't have been the case for a chunk of the original 71 or so. It was just a cool sounding project that they put some money into.
I dont have the figures but many have shown that NXT distribution is far more even now than BTC. People had a lot of opportunity to buy low as well. Plus the biggest moves may be infront of us once NXT goes mainstream in the press. Are you sure? If I was one of the original NXT stakeholders, there's no way I'd sell any of my coins, but I guess there are whales in every coin, no mater how fairly you try to distribute them. There is absolutely something happening behind the scenes
BTER has some sweet volume going on and every bit of cheap NXT is bought.
Often buys of 6 to 8 btc worth of NXT clear.
Some people are loading up on NXT atm

Its still not exploded yet but I would say its probably the safest bet you could make in crypto at this point, I would be highly surprised if the price drops from here. I mean normally the price is nearly double what it is now. I think people will wise up to the fact that even if NEM is good people will want to use the original. NEM could do ok too I admit.. |

Yeah I know people start these threads to pump their coin and yeah I do own some. But I get a feeling that NXT is about to make a moon shot. I absolutely could be wrong but its a vibe i'm getting. I think maybe people are tired of the shitcoin clones, tired of the NXT clones and wanting to get into something that is more stable and long term. Of course the asset exchange is also a factor. I think some people who are new and haven't heard the negativity about the distribution are just seeing NXT for what it is ie a highly innovative system that is at the moment unchallenged.
I personally believe it should be worth many times what it is now but I'm saying this cause my spidey senses are its gonna rocket and once it does it wont come down easily. Many times before I got this vibe before a spike up and I was right, so lets see here...

Is this a sarcastic post? lololololol But I have a feeling NXT will explode once the asset exchange comes online, then one of the 73 whale/stakeholder will cash out their stash and send NXT from the moon down to middle-earth. I joined this forum due to NXT so yeah the term next generation coin was floating around, I wouldn't think too deeply about it. I own a bunch of coins and mainly am interested in Next Generation coins especially NXT, EXO and Qora, I mean why wouldn't I be. Are you interested in last generation coins? Liking the best technology is far more honest than all the BS pumping of shitcoins that goes on here. Of course I will talk up coins I own but at least I own them cause I believe in their potential. There are a few other coins with plans to implement an asset exchange, but it looks like Nxt will be the first to actually do it. That gives it a nice first mover advantage. Will the Nxt exchange have any unique features that no other coins are planning?
There is really only NXT and it's clones or EXO and Qora. Once people start using a NXT asset exchange in theory there is no advantage of one or the other. It's gonna be like choosing between phones cause the operating system is gonna be almost the same with NXT clones. |

Let me get my head around this stroke of genius. Are you saying that coin exchanges who spend a ton of time programming an exchange, adminstrating it, earning a commission and generally taking risks are doing so primarily for money.

This all goes to show that Bitcoin can't die. Those in power are desperate to control it and those who stand to lose from it are either trying to control it or hop on board in some way.
It's a simple concept that even some Bitcoiners don't get. Bitcoin can't die. Maybe it can be superseded by another Bitcoin type system but it can't die. Because you can really regulate the unregulatable and you will never stop people seeking to freely pass around wealth. Add an indestructible element and you will never kill it.
