2301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some say Bitcoin is dead but Bitcoin is not dead on: September 06, 2022, 09:20:27 PM
Bitcoin seems to die during every dump Roll Eyes

I don't mind the FUD anymore, to be honest. All this unnecessary panic only does one thing: Transfer the coins of weak hands to the strong hands. And not only that but at a cheap price too! So I say thank you very much for all the low-priced Bitcoins!

At some point everyone goes from panicking about what is happening to Bitcoin during dumps to understanding the fact that if you do not buy the dip, you will regret it later. And thats the way it always goes, if history has taught us anything.

Thats why I try to buy every dip.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: September 06, 2022, 08:51:56 PM
Just saw this news. I am so sick and tired of this kid and his brother fighting these old dudes who aren’t even boxers. I mean Anderson Silva is 47 years old. I guess if I could fight someone who played a different sport, is much older and past their prime yet still make millions of dollars I’d do it to. I just want to see these dudes actually fight a legitimate boxer their own age.

Regardless I’ll be tuning in hoping for a Silva KO.

I completely agree! Jake Paul is not even a real boxxer in my eyes. He is just an influencer with too much time on his hands. He cannot face real opponents so he chooses aged boxxers because then he might even stand the tiniest of chances. That being said I really really hope that Jake Paul gets his lights knocked out hard. I want to see Anderson Silva embarrass Paul like he deserves. And that actually very well might happen. Even though Anderson Silva is 47 years old, he is by no means a pushover. In fact, I think Jake Paul severly miscalculated his chances at winning. Anderson da Silva is a a former UFC Middleweight Champion and holds the record for the longest title reign in UFC history.

And for good reason too!
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino Stake.com sued for $400 million on: September 06, 2022, 06:34:37 PM
I really doubt that there is any need to panic. Although for the time being, getting your funds out of stake.com would probably be a very smart bet. There are other good online gambling casinos to play on during this whole fiasco.

Although that being said, I think anyone can sue anyone for anything and demand any kind of sum. That does not make it a fact that stake.com has already lost. In fact, this could and probably might turn out to be complete hot air. Or as some people would say, a "nothing burger".

400 Million in damages in nothing to scoff at. Depending on the outcome of the lawsuit and the current financial stake of stake.com, things might go downhill really fast. Anyway, personally I will keep away and wait to see what happens.
2304  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: September 05, 2022, 07:53:14 PM

Honestly i feel the same way because I'm fan of sports gambling and at the same time is slots, when i try to play prediction gambling that's the time that the opponent makes a gameplay and manage to win the game unlike the highest potential of winning the game, and base on the slot games theres no prediction right there so more easier to play the hardest prediction is an algorithm game or an actual game

Well you cannot predict the outcome of a slots.  Even if you break the algorithm of it, you will find that the result is random.  Though I am thinking if there is anyone who happen to break a slots algorithm and be able to sync with it resulting in a win for the overall gambling session, I bet there is no one had done that.

You cannot predict it to 100% accuracy sure. I would agree with you on that. But if you know the algorithm then you also can make prediction models based on mathematical probabilities and while you might not be right every single time, you could be right over half of the times. And as long as you have the edge in being right, even if its only 60% then with time and patience, you will obviously be the one making a profit.

Deriving the formulas for the algorithm might be where you get stuck. A lot of algorithms are made to be very complicated and rightly so. You would need teams of PhDs to even come close to a way of somewhat accurately predicting the outcomes.

I doubt your losses would justify your wins at that point. Unless you are some sort of super genius.

But you would still need to know the exact algorithm in the first place.

So yes, I agree with you. No point in trying to predict the outcome of slots.

BREAKING: RUSSIAN CENTRAL BANK AGREES TO LEGALIZE USE OF BITCOIN AND CRYPTO IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE 🇷🇺.

Source: https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1566771846854344704

Good news for Bitcoin! Another slap in the face of "regulators" and other anticoin LARPers.

Thanks for posting. Have your very first merit! You earned it!

You think so?
No way US/EU is going for a attempt at "banning" bad crypto 'cos financing Russia?

If they are smart they won't. Because they will know its not possible.

But I would love to see them try and fail. That would only give everyone who isn't sure about adopting crypto yet the affirmation they need that nobody will be able to take their money away from them. Especially not any government.

2307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I've learned after 3 years building an algo trading bot on: September 05, 2022, 01:55:31 PM
I dont know about you guys but I would never trust a bot to trade for me. There are just so many variables for which you cannot account for and if they should occur, your bot really will not know what to do next and might lose all or at least some of your money. Trading bots are made for convenience, not because they are actually better at trading than humans. After all, its your trading strategy just in a automated form. The convenience is not worth the risk to me.

And not all code can be seen as equal. Even if someone were to develop some amazing code which makes a lot of profit most of the time, why would anyone share/sell that to anyone? Would it not be better to keep it to yourself?

Not really a fan of trading bots, suffice to say.
2308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Set Of Action When Your Account Face An Issue on: September 05, 2022, 01:26:20 PM
So you're playing in a casino and you triple your wager but when you try to withdraw you cannot what set of actions are you going to do,
Are you going to screenshot your dashboard and your deposit, are you going to create a ticket first and ask support what happens to your account or you will ask chat support and screenshot all conversations because of the fear of getting your account ban, or you will directly post your concern here in Bitcointalk.

I would not depend on anyone other than me to get what I want and deserve. So obviously this also means that I would not trust anyone other than me. Defintely it would be prudent to screenshot all conversations with the chat support and gather any and all evidence possible, just in case, which is a "good to have". Because anything can go wrong.

Any if things do go wrong, and you play on an online gambling casino which is legit and registered, then they will obviously fear any legal actions against them and if you have proof, then they definitely will want to avoid a quarrel with you.

I would definitely also make my concern public, in hopes that the mentioned casino does not wish for bad PR and would rather give you your money than face public humiliation.

That all said, this is only in the case where you are in the right and have broken no rules.
2309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 05, 2022, 01:16:31 PM

Five of the best states in America, which are interested in Bitcoin and Ethereum, if you look at the statistics, Bitcoin is in the main position of 76% while Ethereum is 24%. Only in Florida is Ethereum more attractive than Bitcoin, with percentages of 7.4 and 6.9

Florida needs to get its shit together.

Yeah NOW™ the regulators are definitely going to find a way to "regulate bitcoin away" says an "independent researcher".

Man, am I scared. The scary regulators have been trying to put a leash on Bitcoin since 2008. But they will definitely do it. They totally promise.
2310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dealing with ISP block on Gambling websites on: September 04, 2022, 10:34:41 PM
Using a VPN to access a casino is not a problem in itself and no casino will ban your account just for that unless it's clearly stated in their ToS that using VPNs is prohibited. The real problem is actually why they are being used. Unfortunately, the majority do not use VPNs for privacy reasons but to circumvent geo restrictions which is a kind of cheating.
Another thing gamblers aren't aware of is that even if your country isn't listed in the list of restricted countries, you're still not allowed to use the casino's services if gambling is prohibited in your country (and the consequences if you get caught are worse).

Using a known VPN is a good way to get yourself banned any your funds frozen. I would not risk it at all. Perhaps there is a way with a dedicated VPN IP but I am not really sure how expensive or how difficult going that route would be. Or if it even would work in the long term.

I saw someone advising OP to actually contact the casino to explain the situation. However even in this situation I would be paranoid, if I were OP.

It seems, perhaps only to me, that many if not most online gambling casinos are happy to find any reason to not give you your funds back. And any "suspicious" activity like a VPN or accessing through a country which is banned might lead to something like that.

But then again I cannot really say I have experience like that. Reaching out might be less risky than using a VPN.
2311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 04, 2022, 05:21:30 PM
Call me a bit naive, but I cannot for the life of me understand why money is not moving into bitcoin in a gigantic swirl....yet.
It is obvious that inflation is high, eating everyone's purchasing power.
Stonks are still at the top of the range vs P/E and interest rates.
Real estate went up crazily during Covid and is posed to plunge. All factors point to it.
Gold is not "working" really since 2011.
So...how the populace think that they could keep their funds at least at par vs inflation?

Because people are stupid. So progress takes a long time.
2312  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How Are Blockchain Project Funded These Days? on: September 04, 2022, 10:13:05 AM
I do warn them about not having a good use case but they always think their project is amazing and completely faultless. Some project CEOs have giant egos and do not want to hear the truth that nobody needs their coin or that there is a better non-blockchain alternative. Roll Eyes

They refuse to create more use case because they don't actually have plan to make their project became more bigger. Provably those CEO's you work for is only for sales  and target only to gather more money out of their ideas that's why they didn't listen on suggestions given. This action they made is actually a big red flag since as you said they didn't listen for anything and most provably they aim to scam people.

Do you really believe that I would work for scam projects or are you just in need of an extra post for your signature campaign? I would say the former.

No, I thoroughly research the projects that I work for and I never work with a scam project that has nothing to show but an idea. I work with real people, real teams and projects that have already created something with hard work. Most of the time this means an MVP (Minimal Viable Product). If they cannot show me that they have put in a lot of time, money and hard work then I am obviously not interested in working for them.

The problem of them not listening is mainly the fact that they have gone too far to back out of the project. That is what I mean by ego.
2313  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How Are Blockchain Project Funded These Days? on: September 03, 2022, 09:35:54 PM
Actually ICOs are very well alive still. Except now they are subject to much more regulation thus not profitable for scammers anymore. I think most people looking to fund their project with an ICO would not go through all the hard work if his/her project was the same kind of ICO scammy crap as in the early ICO days.

I work with ICO projects sometimes and they have it very hard. Which is a good thing. ICO project quality has gone way up and scams have gone down.

That being said, from my own unique experience, 9/10 projects do not have what it takes. And the one that does have what it takes very rarely has a meaningful use case for blockchain and of course, for a cryptocurrency.

Not that I complain if such doomed projects wish to hire me. (never take payment in their own crypto, of course) I help them with marketing and get them the outreach they want. Especially to institutional investors who are interested in Blockchain. I do warn them about not having a good use case but they always think their project is amazing and completely faultless. Some project CEOs have giant egos and do not want to hear the truth that nobody needs their coin or that there is a better non-blockchain alternative. Roll Eyes
2314  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: September 03, 2022, 07:01:29 PM
maybe someone knows such bookmakers as https://www.zhb77.com/ or btc365.com (5 month ago) who have tf gaming or other chinese platform without KYC

would be very grateful if you could share these

You would have to be a very brave man/woman to trust a Chinese online gambling platform. I personally would never trust any platform coming out or registered in a country known for scams and lax scam regulators.

KYC is not something I like, personally but it does show that the online gambling casino is taking regulation laws seriously.

Another poster already mentioned that btc365 is "banning 90%" of their users and that's just another huge red flag.
2315  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need advice from experienced users of this forum on: September 03, 2022, 05:48:20 PM
Do you have "proof" of them confirming that KYC was fine/went through? If so, feel free to PM me and I will reach out to them, trying to help.

Given the circumstances and new evidences I think OP does not seem to have sufficient proof of passing KYC. Maybe he used a VPN or maybe it was because of some other activities that the casino regards as suspicious.

Getting the money will be very difficult and might not even be possible if OP is at fault.

Furthermore using Skype for his KYC process seems very sketchy and I don't really know what to think of that.

Let's hope OP followed the casino rules and everything was a misunderstanding, otherwise he won't see his money again.

That's what's a bit difficult when it's proven that OP is really the one with the shortcoming. And I think you're right, OP can use a VPN and that's probably the reason why his KYC declined. It's also quite a large amount just in case.

Because that's really strange because he talked via Skype and it's not clear to me why OP was not approved, it's really strange. We don't know who is telling the truth between the two if OP or the Management of the gambling platform.

I completely agree with that but I think that would still not hinder OP from getting at least the money back that he initially used to place the bets. Although I am not 100% sure since I am not certain of the laws around those circumstances.

I have never heard of anyone who got caught breaking the terms and conditions to be given their initial money back though.

Sounds fair for to me though. OP should be more careful next time and read the casino rules first.

2317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gambling Companies: First Massive Bitcoin Adopters on: September 02, 2022, 06:28:55 AM
Bitcoin developers aimed the creation of this decentralized coin to avoid transactions going through financial institutions. Developers and its early investors and believers never expected that it would be the gambling companies that will start the massive acceptance of bitcoin as a currency. Gambling companies accepting bitcoin have two effects on people:

1. People will think positively on bitcoin because gambling companies are carefully and well-managed kind of business. They are built to entertain people and to earn money in return. And there are hundreds of millions if not a billion or billions of people that are into gambling and many of them are exposed to bitcoin and its potential. Investing companies also have no problem with this as investing is also related to gambling with both facing levels of risks.

2. Many people take gambling companies as something dirty. People might as well take bitcoin as something dirty too. And bitcoin's decentralized form as a good way to evade authorities and government regulations.

Unfortunately, there are and always will be Bitcoin adopters who are the "bad apples". But just because they invested in Bitcoin and try to use it for socially/legally shady reasons does not make Bitcoin itself the culprit.

As far as casino regulation goes, the very point of regulation should be fairness and protection, not just different ways for the government to exert power or cash in on taxes. The community holds casinos responsible and good casinos adhere to their responsibility.

If anything, the transparent nature of Bitcoin transactions makes corruption more difficult not less.

And casinos themselves are centralized and registered. So either way they won't escape responsibility.

Ok so after that 1k to 10k challenge that I made, the community asked me to start with a lower budget.
Started with 500 today and I am already at 650.

All my positions are documented, a screenshot at the time of entry/when I close and a daily update

First move in my 500 to 5k challenge:
https://twitter.com/shorterprince/status/1565081371843895305

I use this twitter account to document everything!

I would highly advise against leveraged/derivative trading but that's from my own perspective as I have been burnt many times before. And I am quite a veteran trader, so think it over.

As to your documentation, you should use tradingview instead. It's literally the best trading documentation tool and was created for that very reason. I see no point in using Twitter unless you were trying to get people to share your profit proclamations for whatever reasons.
2319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rate my portfolio progress on: September 01, 2022, 10:51:22 PM
Alright so first let me get something off my chest.

I feel like we should stop worrying about the amount of dollars we make in profit and rather concentrate on the amount of Bitcoin that we make in profit. Although that being said, any profit is good profit. I just find Bitcoin profit more effective in the long term.

A tripling of your investment is quite good, nonetheless. I also agree with your DCA and diversification strategy. All good in my book. Best of luck to you!

2320  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com 🦵💸 | Crypto's Finest Casino | FIRST EVER 0% Commission Dice Duels! 🚀🎲🔥 on: September 01, 2022, 10:33:51 PM
Welcome to the forum and hello from the Bitcointalk cryptocurrency gambling community. I hope you are here to stay and offer great things in the future! I will be sure to follow your progress here.

I do have a question about your 0% commission claim though. I might be missing out some information.

Is the 0% commission only on some games or all games? If it's on all games that would be confusing as commission is what online gambling casinos need to make most of their money. So how do you go without it? Do you have alternative cash flows?

Of course not all games are only a few inhouse games if there is a casino that offers 0% house edge to all the games I think we have to avoid it
What you see in the title of this thread is part of marketing, attract the user's attention to check it and you are one of the curious users  Cheesy
Obviously the admin is a person who has experience in marketing especially in the casino industry.

I work as a marketing consultant myself. And while I have rarely worked with online gambling casinos ( I usually work with new crypto projects), I think I should give some advice:

Do avoid marketing that might appear as false advertising or worse, manipulative exploitation. Once someone accuses you of bad marketing practices, you will have a hard time clearing your name.

It's ok to have an eye catching slogan but make sure to fill in the blanks right after, preferably in your opening post.

The first post here should make it clear that not all their games are 0% commission. I would be more impressed with such straightforwardness and it would also give me an impression of a trustworthy business.
