2381  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: July 07, 2020, 06:17:40 PM
The Third World War is already underway, just different from what we would expect and believe. This time no physical troops are sent across borders but it is fought mainly in cyberspace. Every day the states attack each other, which most of us just don't realize. To a certain extent, the economic and currency (manipulation) war, which has intensified since the financial crisis of 2008, is also part and a chapter of it.

Binance may have been a reliable exchange in the past, but Binance can be hacked just as any other exchange.

Just like your bank, your police station, airport, tax office and every other entity that has ever stored your sensitive data. IMO binance security is on higher level than most of those including banks.

Well, that's true. But if my bank is hacked and money is stolen or they have violated data protection laws, then the bank must pay the compensation or can be sued. That is not the case with Binance. You don't even know where to turn for a legal action. Malta? China? Singapur? Hongkong? All the institutions you mentioned are subject to strict legislation.

Jedenfalls der 4te Coin sagt mir jetzt einmal nichts

Interessanter Artikel.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: July 07, 2020, 05:48:49 PM
a biden/harris ticket is stronger than clinton/kaine was in 2016 IMO.

I was bored during the Corona crisis so I finally watched Michael Moore's 11/09 Fahrenheit documentary. I did expect a pure piece of Trump bashing. To be honest, for the most part it is. But the Democrats didn't get off scot-free either. Especially the ridiculous nomination of Hillary Clinton as presidential candidate. But also the Obama affair in Flint (Michigan) was really intense, not to be expected from a "Peace Noble Prize Winner". So it's no wonder Trump won Michigan. If that's the way it goes in other states as well, then the race is still open because the Democrats also have a lot of skeletons in the closet. And Biden was like Clinton part of the Obama administration. A lot of people have certainly not forgotten that.

Having problems to get the Qortal wallet to run. After I downloaded the current provided version in the opening thread I run the .sh file. According to the log file the wallet should run on port 12392 while the API run on port 12391. But when I call 127.0.0.1:12392 the page is not found while calling 127.0.0.1:12391 gives me a page which says I must enable API documentation in settings file. Any help?

Do you have Discord? If so get in contact with me and I'll help you get through it.

Thanks, I do not have Discord yet. But I plan to set up an account on weekend.
Since I would say that I have a good technological background, I will certainly not be the only one who will have problems with the setup. Maybe it would be good to create a tutorial.
2386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 07, 2020, 05:19:17 PM
Congrats to Werder Bremen for stay in the First German League after the relegation match against Heidenheim.
It was an intresting match and in the End of the Game it was realy dramatic , Heidenheim played very well and hasnt got luck.
My bet on the game wasnt right but i also placed a bet that they stay in the League.

Well done for Werder they managed to stay on the Bundesliga division.
It was the best thing to happen as Werder is a historical team that needs to stay in the first division. I hope they are going to have better luck next season and perform better.

It was a bad match from both teams. Werder should not have deserved to stay in the Bundesliga and Heidenheim would not have deserved to be going up in the first league. The match was disappointing compared to the relegation matches of the past years.
2387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 05, 2020, 12:11:47 PM
An interesting question for the Real management this summer?
Real Madrid's moral necessity to save 200 million euros this summer

All football clubs have huge financial difficulties due to coronavirus.
According to this article in Marca: https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2020/07/04/5f00c334e2704ee8a48b45d6.html
the Real Madrid board are aiming to save a total of 200 million euros this summer, with most of that money coming from player sales.
Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Brahim Diaz, Dani Ceballos and Mariano Diaz are the most likely to leave.
The time of big transfers seems to have passed.

The question is if they get 200 millions from selling these listed players. The prices has dropped a lot. You can see this in the recent Leroy Sane transfer. One year ago the price was between 100-120 million Euro for him. A few days ago, Bayern bought him for around 50 millions.

I would like to read the experiences of other Sportsbet.io affiliate partners. Especially I noticed the following and I would like to know if this is right or if I am just mistaken?

I have looked through my former transactions (data from about the last three years). And I think (I do not have proof though) that in the past Sportsbet carried negative balance over for a couple of months before it was set to zero. No, it seems this reset is gone. Does someone else recognized this?

2389  Economy / Economics / Re: Very strange most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few on: July 05, 2020, 11:49:15 AM
Why do you think people don't like to use altcoins to buy things on the internet ?

Simple answer: Because 99% of shops and services which accept Bitcoin do not accept Altcoins. If Bitcoin or Altcoins are accepted for payments I usually pay with them, but from my experience Altcoins are rarely accepted why I often need to exchange Altcoins into Bitcoin to be able to pay the bill.
2390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: July 05, 2020, 11:42:01 AM
Binance may be a very reliable site for exchanging there's no fear of being scammed albeit you are doing KYC here. Allows you to secure your own funds However, within the case of other sites got to work well verified.

Binance may have been a reliable exchange in the past, but Binance can be hacked just as any other exchange. Then your KYC data can fall into the wrong hands and be misused. Binance is constantly changing the location where it is "officially" based on to escape the regulatory authorities. For example, it states that it is based in Malta but in Feb 2020 Maltese authorities stated that it is not authorized to do crypto business in the country. There is therefore no data protection law to which they are subjected. It's naive to think that Binance is safe when it comes to KYC.

I expect a hopefully awesome match today in the DFB final game between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich !

A football match without stadium spectators cannot be a good match Cheesy It will totally lack of atmosphere as the last Bundesliga matches. This limits my anticipation, even though I am a Bayern fan. The final should have been postponed, preferably in the fall and then should have carried out with a selected number of spectators (with a 1.5 meter distance of course).

2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Affiliates: Carryover of Negative Revenue Share Profit on: July 04, 2020, 12:57:30 PM
As far as I know, the earned money from referrals is not gone if they win or lose because the money is sent to our account. But if that happens, then I think that will be a problem since we can not know if they can win or lose, and I think that is out of our expectation. Maybe the site needs to explain this, so there is no misunderstanding here.

If you get earnings within a month you can also lose it within a month again. Payments for a month are done within the first week of the following month.

Let's do an example: Referral A loses a bet on 1st July which gives you a positive balance (let's say balance is 0.1 BTC now). On 31st July Referral B wins a small bet which decreases your balance to 0.05 BTC. Then you would get paid the 0.05 BTC in the upcoming week of the next month (if you do not have any negative carryover from the past).

But, assumed Referral B wins a big bet on 31st July and your balance gets negative (let's say to -0.1 BTC). Of course, you will not get paid anything for this month. On 1st August Referral A is losing again and your balance for the month is 0.05 BTC and let's say no other bets are set until end of month, then you have a positive balance for this month but you will not get a payment because it is offset with the -0.1 BTC from July, so your "virtual" balance is still -0.05 BTC.

I got my first experience with Bitcoin back in 2011. I read an article about it and immediately bought a miner equipment but I did not get it work. Then I figured out that there are faucets I've never heard about before and from there I got my first 0.1xxxx Bitcoin (don't remember the exact amount anymore). Later I bought my first Bitcoin on eBay at a price of $32 Cheesy
