Well I'll be the timer has run out. I guess that means inmate 55444-014 will be joining the great reformer that is the US prison system.

Maybe he'll trade some private keys for smokes, or a shiv.

Arabic is my mother tongue, this alone does not qualify me to be a professional translator but I have the translation experience needed, but i 100% agree with you, find a helping had will differently be way better than having to do the whole thing myself, i will check with "Kavelj22" ,he offered to help ,  i will see how to combine efforts together to make the work easier for the two of us.

Then I'm sure you'd do a fine job getting the core ideas of the posts across. I forgot to mention before because it is essentially just a translation and re-post you should intro it as such. Placing the reference at the beginning of the post.
I just wanted to be sure you had the ability/experience more than anything; as that could lad to misinformation quite easily. Good luck with the project.

Feel free to translate and post any of my mining threads.

btw, always nice seeing people from the mining board on Meta.

I do pop in here quite a bit, over time I've managed to pop into most boards. Started out with a bit of the mining section, Legendaries said it was "cool"; next thing you know it's 3AM and your messaging everybody on the marketplace trying to score some Asic.

Wait mixing up stories; pretty close. I find myself a little all over the place these days which I enjoy. You get to see a bunch of mini communities and then some interesting interactions when they mix from time to time.

I think they mean they have BCH stored offline, from before the shitshow that was ABC vs SV.

I've never really dealt with coins but a simple google search brought up this thread in the altcoin section (which is where BCH belongs)

I use QuadrigaCX they have an alright [urlhttps://www.quadrigacx.com/referral]referral program[/url]. Nothing amazing 10% of trading fees, but I've earned back a few of my own fees from people that jumped on board.

While I applaud the initiative the internet really sin't the place for free exchange of ideas across borders/languages. It's more for transferring images of unclothed humans performing various tasks.  Tongue

Seriously though I love the idea, of trying to spread useful content and knowledge sharing. In regards to credit being given, as long as you provide credit to the OP you are safe. Anything typed on this public forum is available for quoting, referencing or disseminating as long as the original is properly referenced.

Beyond that, it's nice to ask first, or at the very least express your intention to do so. Most people would be pleased you find their content relevant/important enough to share. For inactive users sending them a PM is all you can reasonably be expected to do if you chose to notify and ask first.

I want to clarify though, are you a native Arabic speaker or at least passably fluent as a local? If not I would encourage you to maybe find someone to partner with for this project as translations shouldn't be done through a translation service/program. However working with another forum member who's English might not be the best but can communicate may be beneficial for both of you.

Q: What about deleting DOXes?
A: Nope, we don't delete them either as long as they comply with the following rules:

<...>
1. Personal information must be confined to the new "investigations" board (under Scam Accusations), which is only visible to Members and above. Personal information is defined as anything which links a user's online identity (username, email, etc.) to their meatspace identity, excluding links that the person himself has posted. It is not allowed to post somebody's personal information in any other public place, including in signatures.
2. It is not allowed to post someone's dox if it is especially obvious that you're just using the dox as a weapon. For example, if there are no remotely-plausible trade complaints, then the person can't be a scammer, and their dox should not be posted.
3. As before, anything that the legacy insecure government/banking system requires to be secret is not allowed anywhere. This includes social security numbers, credit card numbers, and certain account numbers.
<...>

Why aren't they deleted? Because such doxing is just compiling information about a user already available publicly, often via search engines.

Good luck getting this all sorted out QuestionQuest. Not sure how liability plays out in these cases, it would be nice to see you at least recouping hardware costs.
2428  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain will be releasing S15 and T15 on 8/11/2018 on: January 01, 2019, 11:11:16 PM
PassthePopcorn posted some results from their miner in the Competitive hardware thread, I just haven't had the chance to update it.

So far it looks like a good buy if you've set up KYC with Bitmain. Especially if you have higher power costs as they are so far showing great options for efficiency for both of the miners.

Obviously it's a small sample but well see as more if them arrive
2429  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The winter mining setup on: January 01, 2019, 09:18:14 PM
It's not really something I'm concerned with. The operating temperatures are well within the norms for the materials they build with.

If not my miners it would be an electric heating element that is a piece of metal, with poor conducting abilities, but has a high melt point. So either way I'm heating metal and using the air to cool it .

My only concern off anything harmful emitting from the miners would be in case if a fire. That goes for anything and everything in my house though.
2430  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Current List of Competitive Hardware - December 2018 on: December 31, 2018, 02:58:27 AM
Yes thank you.
Got a little busy but I will update the list accordingly.

For now looks like Bitmain take #1 and #2 spots, with the T 15 low power mode

so I don't think even they know!

I have the 24T model and, like you, have not seen the 32T model posted anywhere.

Easy to get confused. I was glad when they finally named one the T3 just for clarity sake. Now all they have to do is put one of the out.

Don't think I'm going to wait to much longer, looking to add another 30TH or so before I take my 741's offline in the spring. Wouldn't hurt if I could move it inside the house for the tail end of winter either.
2432  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Current List of Competitive Hardware - December 2018 on: December 29, 2018, 10:26:25 PM
List has been updated to include the T15 as Bitmains current product and the most efficient advertised gear @.06 J/GH using their Low Power mode.

I will update with the S15 once delivered and on spec.
2433  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AvalonMiner 921 released - 20 TH/s @ 1800W on: December 29, 2018, 02:31:47 PM
Reading the specs, apart from the hashrate and power draw everything else is identical. They do make a mistake in the efficiency though.

921 = 2000/18000  .09 j/GH

920 = 1700/18000 = .094 j/GH

This reminds me of the 741 and 740 models. I think that's what it was. The model ending in 0 were under performing units they sold in the Asian markets. All I really want to see is the 941.
2434  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: first s9 13.5 pool recommendations on: December 28, 2018, 05:22:26 PM
First time/Small miner reference for getting started.

There's a small write-up at the bottom of that thread about selecting a pool.

You seem to be on the right track by mentioning slush, as it does pay the transaction fees to the miners. Depending on the network that can make up a significant portion of your rewards.

Like I said I mine at kano, slush is just larger and will provide multiple small payouts a day. You could also check out CK pool.

All in all you have to decide for yourself. I'd say read the OP on kano and CK, then ask questions in those threads; slush is pretty straightforward but feel free to ask there as well. Most people that mine at either pool are able to answer questions, and the Pool operators monitor and respond as well. Good luck.
2435  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: first s9 13.5 pool recommendations on: December 28, 2018, 04:55:56 PM
You were pretty close to the info you're looking for.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=41.0

This is the "pools" board. There are support/community threads for the various pools operating. Depending on what you need/want out of a pool is up to you. I mine with kano personally.

I’m mining with an Innosilicon T2T+24 right now, as far as I know they haven’t missed any product launches. The only thing I can think of that were announced but were never sold are their ETH miners. I’ve never heard of them scamming anyone by taking preorders and not delivering.

Sorry that sounds like their T2 turbo not the "+" model.

The "+" had a spec of 32TH/S . These should have been sold and delivered in October some time. If you do have one you would be the first person that I know of, would you be willing to do a few images - Miner, Status page. You could create a topic for that particular model, and I can update the "current hardware list".

Thanks for the info. Mine on
2437  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: GMO miner B2: 7NM mining within reach? on: December 28, 2018, 01:56:31 AM
Q2 - pretty sure this was when they announced, they were going to come out of nowhere and produce the most efficient hardware out there.

Q3- let's assume they were sourcing materials because they sure weren't doing much of anything else.

Q4- let's sell the gear that people would have bought as it was still competitive.

Nah let's abandon the 2 hardware projects we've been planning before trying to recoup any of those losses.

Makes no sense really. Maybe they f'd up hard in the design and build, seems like to stupidest con, as I dont think they took any money upfront from miners either.

As far as Inno is concerned they've missed the last 2 product launches if I'm not mistaken. This is going back to October when the t2t+ should have been shipped.

I'll dig a little more in my emails but I did have a back and forth going for a bit until they stopped responding, about the same time they sent a mass email that showed all recipients and the price drop.
2439  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: TRIPLE-1, Inc. 株式会社 松島 KAMIKAZE 7nm SHA-256 ASIC on: December 26, 2018, 08:19:04 AM
will be very hard for them to be competitive at this point.

Not really their target specs that were released would still be one of the most efficient pieces of hardware out there if it ships within the next couple months. It would just have to be priced accordingly.

I'm guessing they ran out of funds or lost funding part way through the project. The other option being they chose to mine for themselves. Those are the only explanations I could think of for allowing your product to lose all the momentum it had early on.

Either way I don't think this is ever going to hit the market. I'm just glad there was no pre-sale involved.
2440  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain will be releasing S15 and T15 on 8/11/2018 on: December 26, 2018, 08:11:23 AM
I purchased my T15 from Amazon last Thursday. It arrived Monday.

Good job getting your hands on it a little early that way.

Can you post a screenshot of the miner status, and maybe a pic or 2 of the miner? It would be nice to see it in action and confirm they have something close to spec hitting the market.
