2581  Other / Meta / Re: This thing with the accounts' farming has to stop... on: May 29, 2021, 08:07:47 PM

There are also one of those fake convo wherein the OP quotes something from a news. Even though the OP cites the source, s/he just seemingly to just abandon the thread and posts another thread with the same manner that mentioned previously.
That feeling that you wanted to have a relaxing conversation/discussion in a certain topic, but the OP doesn't give a shit about any replies of other users and just move on.
Smells like fishing merit for me when I encounter those threads.

~
I have seen a few account sellers in Fiverr where they selling accounts with activity only.
~
I looked up in Fiverr for a bit, and I found this one gig.

I haven't found selling accounts yet but I found plenty of bumping services there, so it's quite concerning that shady businesses off-forum is happening though.
I had checked Upwork as well which I primarily work on most of the time and mostly I only got BBCodes designing jobs there.

2582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC ride is over! on: May 29, 2021, 07:49:47 PM
~
Believe me. You got me on the first half of your statement. Cheesy

@OP What's over? Bullish run? If so, does it matter? Why not use the opposite trend to buy more? It's a discount for all people to buy now. Smiley
No time to be in the weak hands now, because this is surely where most newbies fall into their trap only to find out that the rocket is about to take off. Smiley
2583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know this early Bitcoin adopter? on: May 29, 2021, 07:15:38 PM
~
It would be different for me actually. Cheesy
Either it will be a lost coin if I bought one back then because pretty much I won't care much about it since I don't think it would even reach by 5 digits in USD and I would get depressed on that loss.
I would just expect it to be 3 digits at this point if I was forecasting back then. Cheesy
2584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most of your coins are going to be worthless in years. on: May 29, 2021, 07:12:22 PM
~
Yep. It's been like that already.
It could not be "scamcoin" like you mentioned but it can surely be a hype coin that would just dry out overnight that's why those coins you're identifying don't last that long even in simple discussion in here. They're just purely dumped after getting listed.
Come to think of it, there are just like 5 coins that I mostly stumble upon here in Altcoin Board that mostly gets discussion.
2585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Still trading BTC even though actually trading Alts on: May 29, 2021, 02:27:06 PM
Or just hodl them instead.
Market is too volatile right now actually. Many alts tend to dump when BTCs tend to do also.
I would just stick to BTC if I were you, OP. Smiley
2586  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To be honest about Investing on: May 29, 2021, 02:23:21 PM
~
Depending on how you react to FUDs though. They are already part of every market you know even if it is non-crypto related.
Business destroying others businesses in order for the former to dominate.
2587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO and its risk, research properly on: May 29, 2021, 02:18:25 PM
~
It still lived up to its memory.
I can still recall that there were a lot of threads back in Alts Board about if ICOs are scam. Seems like those good ol investors are smelling something fishy to many ICOs that year already til they just kept their money for hodling til IEOs started to replace them. Smiley
2588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another guy talking about bitcoin founder! on: May 29, 2021, 02:12:38 PM
~
Last time that I saw another people from Tiktok claiming about the Bitcoin owner was Eric Schiermeyer.
I remember similar thread not that long time ago. Smiley
Anyone in social media could claim who they really are.
2589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google search volume for Cryptocurrency related topics broke a new All time high on: May 28, 2021, 08:13:14 PM
Well it is popping up everywhere in my news feed in Facebook, what do you expect for people getting their curiosities up. Even Bitcoin managed to be top searched keyword in Google back when I recalled it being posted in here.
Back then I wasn't that curious to it as I was like thinking that it could be criminal's coin, but can't blame myself. Cheesy
2590  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whales and the bull/bear market on: May 28, 2021, 08:11:41 PM
~
This is surely what happened when the BTC price dipped. Smiley
Whales could already took the coins of those who hold their coins. It's not something new to happen here in crypto anyways so there's that.
2591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No One Can Shut Down Bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 07:51:51 PM
~
If I was the million dollar hodler, I would just hodl for the rest of my life though I would sell a bit from that and I wouldn't still be broke in crypto. Cheesy
I'd consider that investment in mining but it isn't my thing. Smiley
It's impossible to stop Bitcoin, but it is capable of being regulated on how people uses it not merely how Bitcoin functions. Smiley
2592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Legends and Veterans. Seeking wisdom... on: May 28, 2021, 07:50:00 PM
Well I wouldn't introduce the same on how my friend introduced me here. I would introduce them that this isn't stock market that you're messing around. This is unstable market that you shouldn't let your emotion get by. I would emphasize that the unstable word is a good thing because people tend to think that unstable along with finance is a bad thing. Smiley
2593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No One Can Shut Down Bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 02:07:26 PM
~
Even if it will be regulated by any "regulatory bodies" that you're mentioning, the network itself is unstoppable.
VPN still exists these days and people can still browse anonymously with the use of Tor browser which are used by others also to explore the deep web.
P2P transactions are there as well. Smiley
2594  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin starting to recover on: May 28, 2021, 02:05:04 PM
~
Now that you made me recall the start of the pandemic, I remember that people were talking about how cryptos are gonna help their lives in making transaction without having physical contact with the other party.
Surely the pandemic was like a welcome mat for some people to start adopting it for obvious reasons.
2595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Horrible day in History of Bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 01:06:10 PM
~
Not everyone can see that opportunity sadly. It's a discount to buy now so why panic and just go and straight up say that we already have a horrible day in Bitcoin.
People back in the dip of 3k+ should already get used to this kind of stuff already.
2596  Other / Archival / Re: The community created a petition: Elon Musk, sell your bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 01:04:43 PM
~
Just a post would be necessary, but having petition is too much with little to no effect.
We already have too much drama going on in crypto especially back in the days of McAfee.
We had enough.
2597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SAVE CRYPTO FROM PEOPLE LIKE ELON MUSK on: May 27, 2021, 07:39:22 PM
~
Quite sad that those "Smart investors" could be just countable easily.
They'll surely learn their lesson when the price correct even more. It will speak their stupidity for sure.
We have been through McAfee, Buffett, Fake-toshi, Sachs, and many others in the past.
2598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of your first contact with BTC? on: May 27, 2021, 07:36:31 PM
~
It still uses a third party payment system though. I would be happy if it somehow becomes adopted a lot.
Would really love to see those signs "Bitcoin Payment Accepted in here". I would even try to buy random items from them and have the real p2p Bitcoin transfer, not merely by 3rd party apps that are most likely still regulated and I don't hold the money for real because it is an online wallet.
2599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we live without btc? on: May 27, 2021, 06:07:48 PM
~
OP is already shilling around the forum with his favorite stablecoin. I would just advise to put OP into ignore.
Stablecoins are different from Bitcoin. It's like comparing with apples and oranges.
2600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now Paypal allows us to withdraw BTC to third party wallets on: May 27, 2021, 06:03:20 PM
~
It's PayPal. Even by converting USD to my own local currency is insane when it comes to their conversion rate.
I wouldn't involve any single satoshi of mine to that platform ever. There were already reports that people can't even get their funds withdrawn like it was frozen or something so yeah there's a chance on what you said that when you withdraw a huge portion of crypto then they'll surely gonna question you for that.
