1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Highest profitable altcoin for you in 2021 on: December 18, 2021, 08:15:43 PM

Well Dogecoin is being shilled a lot lately actually, so I am not surprised that people are now investing to it. I didn't bother to buy Doge as I am not into pump and dump stuffs in crypto in the short-term. Is Musk era happening again?
I am all go into Bitcoin regardless.
1662  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BBCODES AND HTML (similarities and differences||questions) on: December 18, 2021, 01:08:19 AM
As what BlackHatCoiner said, you can't just attack websites with html alone.
I suggest you to read the difference between the client-side(front-end) and server-side(back-end).
That question reminds me of this meme:

1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My coins percentage down on: December 17, 2021, 09:46:54 PM
Even though the entire cryptocurrency and none crypto assets on the stock market price are down currently but the level at which my various altcoins portfolio crashed backward baffles me, please can anyone explain for me how the altcoins market works.
Check hugeblack's reply. You might have been reading it wrong if it only in one website. Mostly when I check the price of the coin say for one : bitcoin, I would check "btc to usd" in Google quickly then double check it with various sites.
Some are writing it wrong in their site maybe due to traffic.
1664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: December 17, 2021, 09:42:44 PM

BMs still have the choice to stop the bounty program in cases of possible red flags that are being raised. It's not manager's job to do their own research although it could be an optional of their part to do it by their own but they're not obligated to do.
Some scammers are trying to get away with this by having their own people run the bounty program.
If one is getting suspicious of the project, better check Scam Accusation board first.
1665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stick to altcoins or switch to Bitcoin or stablecoins? on: December 17, 2021, 09:37:19 PM

Well with Bitcoin, you wouldn't worry about gradual dumps. Just don't get into whale's trap and you and your emotion would be fine.
If you're for the long term, go with Bitcoin obviously.  Just call your stablecoins if you're all good with your holdings already. Just don't "hold" your stablecoins for too long though as you might worry about your funds getting frozen.

Aside from what Lucius said above me, I saw some non-bounty related post in your post history, but the problem is you don't join the discussion at all. You just open the thread, read the title, maybe read the content a little bit, then just continue replying.
I guess you wouldn't even bother changing your ways as your posts are mostly bounty reports now and from that, no one would bother reading your post history to drop a single merit.
1667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you like to trading with meme coins?? on: December 16, 2021, 08:47:06 PM

Mostly these meme investors just check the news on what their favorite celebrity shills. I mean we already knew that time when Musk was still hot topic in this forum, both alts and BTC. I am pretty sure there are way more meme coins out there that just doesn't get mentioned just yet or at least not yet shilled by some other rich guy in the internet.
1668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ELON MUSK BECOME AN INFLUENCER on: December 16, 2021, 08:41:33 PM

If you didn't mention about Dogecoin, this won't be a crypto-related discussion at all. Why do we care so much about some rich guy and cryptos? It's not like the dude have full control of cryptospace at all. Even if he quit as a CEO of his company, the world will still keep spinning.
Don't let a popular dude in the internet give you the decision.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why projects takes forever to launch? on: December 16, 2021, 07:44:33 PM

It's both sides actually, some are claiming that it is a scam and some are not. They can just announce the launch of their mainnet, so that they can make their people still hold or root for it, it is still not an indicator that it is not a scam. If I was like one of the people to really buy my time for that project, I would honestly could have forget it if it took so long.

I don't think theymos would assign new and/or replace mods anytime soon, let alone the mod of this board was inactive for 3 years.
He might just create a new thread one day on who's willing and able to mod a specific board like this one for P&S board back in 2018 - Who is able and willing to moderate the Politics & Society section?
1671  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CAN YOU EARN IN THIS FORUM? on: December 15, 2021, 09:29:27 PM
Please read the sticky in this board - [General] How to earn Bitcoins

What do you mean by quality posts? Is this an example?
The definition of "quality posts" to some people varies. It could be quality to some, but it might not be for me. Just contribute at the best you can and you wouldn't worry about it.
1672  Other / Meta / Re: Isn't it plagiarism? on: December 15, 2021, 07:32:20 PM
I would call it plagiarism. It was obviously intentional.
Both having the same introduction in their business thread is absurd. Sure they "might happen" to have the same T&C, but israt1@ didn't even bother to tailor the quoted part below as his own introduction at least.

Hello Dear Bangladeshi Bitcoiners,
Let me introduce you one of the best method to sell your BTC, USDT or any other altcoin listed on Binance, Kucoin for BDT. I will purchase BTC on a regular basis.
If you want to sell your Bitcoin for BDT, you can post the amount here.
I will update the USD price in which I will buy your BTC.
1673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most profitable cryptocurrency to invest at the end of 2021. on: December 15, 2021, 03:48:39 PM

Well for short-term, sure but in the long-term wherein I put part of my savings to it and forget it for the next few years won't just work. I was planning to buy some DOGE back then, but good thing I got stalled by my portfolio to invest into one. Pre or even post Musk trend, I have no regrets.
I was day trading ADA long time ago. Quite having nostalgic feeling that it was still being mentioned these days.
1674  Other / Meta / Re: Account Email Bitcointalk on: December 15, 2021, 11:19:44 AM
Well if it is a business email that can help people find ways to contact the said person, I don't see why not.
It's like every Youtube channel out there in About page for business inquiries. Don't worry about it.
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: December 14, 2021, 09:47:05 PM

Yeah, sure but the question will always rely on "for how long" will this coin survive? Back then, I was planning on investing on DOGE, which thankfully was delayed over and over as I was busy keeping an eye out of the coins I previously invested.
DOGE might hold out, but I am sure that newer meme coins would just dry overnight.
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: December 14, 2021, 08:24:08 PM

Well just because one is an influencer, they thought that Shiba would really have a major connection with Musk. It is not just Dog coins actually. Every meme coins out there ( should we count Squid shit token as one?), wouldn't just survive. It's all purely just manipulated by hypes and all these influencers.
1677  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we talk about airdrops? on: December 14, 2021, 01:31:09 PM
If you find it quite concerning, you should know most website do these simply by visiting their website. I would recommend you to install uBlock Origin (https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/) which could reduce the data collection.
I heard and read this extension couple of times. I just didn't plan to install it and went for AdBlock Plus instead for only blocking ads since it is like being mentioned more often.
As of writing this, reading from some people's comment between the two, they seem to recommend uBlock over the other. Thanks for this. Smiley

3. Third-party tracking (such as Facebook and Google Analytic) will know you're interested on cryptocurrency.
I guess that's why many crypto-related posts are now appearing from my dummy account in Facebook long time ago before I stopped trying them, lol. Not that it is really an issue for me due to it being a dummy account, but quite concerning considering that you mentioned in #1, from just sending only an email address.
1679  Other / Meta / Re: Share your thoughts and opinions on: December 13, 2021, 10:34:35 AM

I am getting a strange vibe on these type of thread, but meh here it goes.

1. Discussions and conversations. I have a Reddit account that is also intended for crypto discussion, but I don't get a really good discussions there that much. It seems like biased mostly to those users with the most karma, and my post just ended up getting buried the lowermost part of the post which will likely don't get noticed. Here in the forum, even if I didn't have the 4-digit merits, people were still open to correct and educate me.

2. News. I don't really reply that much to news threads in Bitcoin Discussion, but it is a really benefit for me when I always ask the market "WTF is going on?".
The BTCs I get from SC is just a little icing on the cake, but sure I'll mention that.

3. Both are important.
1680  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it legal to do BitcoinTalk Accounts - Buy Sell Trade ? on: December 11, 2021, 08:20:16 PM

I took a little bit of reading on what PlayerUp is up to, no pun intended, although I don't really feel digging too much on this strange site from my previous reply. From the Reddit comments I had read, it seems like it just like an Ebay, but instead of selling physical goods, it is all about accounts. It is not purely a scam site from some comments I read, but it is a site that surely is being used by scammers. It will be easy for scammers to take their accounts back through social engineering for sure.

@OP, as what skarais said.
OP, I advise you to lock this thread considering you've got the answers you need, and for all that has been suggested to you should be of some use.
