1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: October 19, 2021, 05:20:49 AM

It barely touches 64k yet, which is from what I can recall was the last ATH we got.
Surely many shitcoins out there will flow along with the bull run if it happens soon enough. Right now I am all into Bitcoin right now, and I am not considering any alts anytime soon.

This.
I got a bit lucky from the tokens that I held in my MEW in 2017, and good thing that I knew how to sell them before they turned into a shitcoin. Never bothered holding any other coins after that incident. Cheesy
Now all those coins sold turned into Bitcoin and I had never regretted any single satoshi bought.
1843  Other / Meta / Re: What Would Be Your Reason to Leave Bitcointalk? on: October 18, 2021, 07:53:22 PM

It's the internet. It is not just here in the forum. Everyone could just lie about their identity and expect people to believe them. It is one of the effects of pseudonymity. Even in Facebook, I see a lot of profiles claiming to be a forex trader, while just slapping their profile pic with a stock photo.
At least you were honest that one of the reason that you would leave is due to those SCs.
1844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: *Day Traders* are now calling gambling Addiction helplines!! on: October 18, 2021, 02:46:34 PM

I would not mind actually, but maybe I can see it that the bad habits are like something that they would not love to be called at or be called down for. Good thing I did not addicted to gambling at all nor the day trading, judging my first day in Binance while scraping up tutorials from Youtube. Cheesy
1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV officially dead? Finally confirmed by the BSV account :) on: October 18, 2021, 02:39:40 PM
Ah yes, I remember this. I am not surprised anyway. The faketoshi stuffs and everything. Kind of funny that the account just went and created flags almost at everyone. Never heard of this coin ever in the alts section for a long time so I already assumed that it was dead already anyway long time ago.

What cybersecurity issue are you talking about, OP? Unless that you are using a custodial wallet, then you should be just fine.
Your kind of mixing it up with "decentralized issuance" as well.

1847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there more people or bots on internet? on: October 16, 2021, 07:50:05 PM
Bots are dominating humans how to control it?
what will be future !
Humans make bots and surely bots will become more common than you think. Right now I am even struggling to get a single GPU knowing that people use bots now these days to get the advantage.
There are businesses replacing employees doing common tasks with robots, although it comes with a cost of maintenance in exchange of paying their employees.
In short, there would be jobs that would surely be replaced by robots, but it does not mean that it will dominate over humans, unless they become self-aware and we are hella screwed.

I don't think you can, anyway, it's down with a 400 Bad Request error.
You can. There is just extra "[/url"  at the end of the link.

It is basically a Google Form asking for your name here in the forum, email address, mailing address, your "secret Santa Wishlist", and a rating of 1-5 (Rate how naughty or nice you've been this year.)

@OP
There is no way in hell that we will give you that kind of information, let alone our email address and mailing address.

I opened the link in a different device, just in case. Cheesy

Edit: This was the form in case others do not want to open the link.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all pro traders on: October 16, 2021, 05:48:41 PM
Hi experts in the house, is it true that present crypto market moves is like 2017 4th quarter? Is it true that there will be another massive bull run mostly on altcoins? I sucks at reading charts so I don't know how true is this
I recall that. It was just that year that I started learning about Bitcoin, but it was first quarter.  We cannot tell if there would be a massive bull run. Market is unstable and we can only just speculate.
That year was kind of memorable though, since the target was 20k for Bitcoin when it barely just touched that price.
Not to worry though, as it happened already maybe...... a little bit late.

Hi, OP.
Please read all the answers written below you. You just registered here 3 days ago. Hopefully you put a bit of time reading around first, before posting.
Read the stickies first, before asking questions.

Dang. I forgot to share this when it happened.
Imagine how many critical meetings or messages were not done nor delivered at that moment. Not that I expect a lot of people to use Facebook for professional stuffs, but I am pretty sure that Facebook has its own Job platform and I couldn't imagine how it went really bad in their end at that moment.
Everything is dependent to the internet right now.
1853  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stuck between two decision on: October 14, 2021, 05:51:05 PM
It is hurting you mentally, OP.
It is still up to you though.  Are you willing to wake up in the morning just to do work the whole day? I would advise you to freelance and take that development skills of yours to use.
In freelancing, you are the BOSS of your time. Upwork is a good platform to start.

I am not sure how long it would take, but if you are really interested in learning BC dev, you would not think that much of the time it would take to master it.

Got this thread made by mk4 regarding that stablecoins can be frozen. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5204055.0
I never held that much in stablecoins anyway, but I was thinking of back when I was day trading. Kind of scary that getting your funds frozen is inevitable to some coins.
1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Investment Advice? on: October 14, 2021, 03:38:56 PM
When BITCOIN was launched in 2009, no one knew that Bitcoin would reach this height. But it takes time to adopt any new technology. People have adopted the bitcoin and everyone is aware of the current situation. Yes but if you are new understand crypto first. Learn from EXPERT, understand. And invest using your own intelligence. Start small. And go ahead and understand. The rest of the future is spectacular. The future of crypto is coming. That's what I believe.
Few knew it. Surely they are hella lucky to buy more than a whole of Bitcoin in less than a thousands of USD. I wished I was like those though, but my misinterpretation got into me.
Some are considering to have mentorship, but you do not need that actually. Just go self-taught and you will be fine.

You are right that there are too many frauds to even think of them as a source of income, while this is also a forum anyway not an earning platform.

Is it safe to invest in BTC right now? Best time to invest was like a decade ago and the second best time is now. I do not bother with any alts right now to be honest, so I cannot give you an advice for that.

Now that I researched few articles and posts from Reddits, they were all misleading making me think that it is possible to send BTC with SMS. Turns out it was only a notification all along.

The only thing I can think of are "paper wallets", which might be the most likely basis of a possible solution to this challenge.
That method is kind old now, so I am not sure if people are still storing them these days.

Not sure if there are such thing as alternatives for the internet though.
If there are right now, it is mostly just going back which is the utilization of phone lines, but given of how internet already brought us convenience, pretty sure that many "innovators" that you're mentioning would still stick on to the internet.

It is your Bitcoin. If you need more advice from what you can do with that 1 BTC, just hold it and leave it, considering that as of writing this, BTC is now priced at 55k. Do not bother with most of the altcoins if you are thinking of selling it, imo.
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is what it is on: October 12, 2021, 08:09:39 PM
Lessons I've learnt from bear market

1. No one wants bear market 😂
2. The unwanted market will eventually comes and caught many unprepared
3. Many projects of 2020 and 2021 will die a slow painful death
4. More ban on crypto will come
5. Some countries will start saying nonsense about crypto again and the market will go down even more
6. Every whales next move will target next BTC halving again, it's all cycle
7. Long term holders will become the next new whales again
Wat? Who does not want bear market?
How about people needing to get more coins to buy more? Isn't that an opportunity to buy more in case a shitcoin goes to moon? /s Cheesy
Not surprised about #3..... if it is a shitcoin.
How are you so sure with #4? Stop spreading FUDs.
