2721  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Deposit Liberty Reserve into MtGox at NO FEE! - SEPA/UK TRANSFER/WIRE on: December 01, 2011, 11:05:56 PM
A+

bitinstant does not make sense to me at all. So I can Fund via LibertyReserve But I can not withdraw? Its a half way service in my book. AurumXchange covers all the bases. Great News!!

Visit, www.coinexchanger.com

Sir, did you even realize that this means you're out of business?
Good luck competing with 0.6% fees.
2722  Economy / Speculation / Re: Soon on: December 01, 2011, 04:45:46 PM
Once Bitcoiners understand that it is very possible that we'll see double digits and beyond again, many will switch to a buy & hold strategy instead of trying to get quick profits. This will obviously accelerate the uptrend because there will be less selling pressure.

I was forced to do some day trading on the way down because I would've lost too much otherwise, but now I managed to go all-in at $2.3 which is for a long position. I'm not planning on selling anytime soon. This means that I don't really have to care about the price that much and I can focus on other things Bitcoin-related, instead of staring at Mt. Gox Live.

I do have a stoploss if the doom scenario of going below $2 seems imminent and I do also have a gradual sell-off plan if we enter bubble mode again. In fact I encourage everyone to keep selling when the price starts rocketing, sell even a little, please. Bitcoin does NOT need another period of the price overshooting skyhigh and then coming back down like a rock.

+1.  The current situation looks exactly like the price ramps which began in April.  Prepare for takeoff.

Hey, chodpaba, can you tell us how your experiment worked? Did you conclude that your daily charts were influencing the market?
2724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Mt.Gox reloaded : Welcome to Mt.Gox's new and improved design! on: December 01, 2011, 01:49:02 PM
I have a question to Mt. Gox though, why is there no option for SEPA withdrawal? And do you have any ETA on that?

Oh wow, so they did nothing other than "improve" the design.
Goxxed again!
2725  Other / Off-topic / Re: Last post before 6/1/2012 wins 5 BTC... and who knows how much that will be on: December 01, 2011, 01:47:41 PM
Another question for ineededausername:

What if I posted exactly on 2012-06-01 00:00:00 (according to the forum, basically posting before 00:00:01)? Does this qualify as "before"?

Why would that be "before?"  Before is equivalent to "<" not "<=".
(On that note, does English have a word for <= when it comes to time? Tongue)
2726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Soon on: December 01, 2011, 01:45:39 PM
Care to make a wager with me on that one? I see the massive bidwall has been moved up to 2.90 now. Seriously put some coins on this.. If you are right, I lose not so much and if you are wrong then big win $$$ for me!

If you wont put up than shut up. Put your money where your mouth is.

it's called sarcasm
2727  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning: How many of you Bears have ever been a victim of a Short Squeeze? on: December 01, 2011, 01:39:18 PM
lulz sudden bidwall. I went long exactly two seconds before it went up.
2728  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt Gox Soon . . . on: December 01, 2011, 04:41:42 AM
I'm not a big fan.  Let me qualify that:

The functionality seems to be the same, and that is the important part.  So no complaint there.

It IS better than the old site.

It just seems a little "hippie" and not at all profesional like a bank site.  But then, most bank sites suck.  The calculator and the circles seems a bit frivolous.

But then, it IS better than before.  Smiley

Like I said, tho, I could really care less how it looks.  I care about how it works.  Speed up cash deposits at Chase bank.  Speed up response time from support.  Those are my main 2 issues.

+9001.
Mtgox loves focusing on superficial things.  How about functionality for a change?
2729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Mt.Gox reloaded : Welcome to Mt.Gox's new and improved design! on: December 01, 2011, 03:38:02 AM
It is a real shame that a team of programmers working for SEVERAL MONTHS has only this to show at the end of November.

> Redesign -- how about functionality?!
> BitInstant -- it was there already.
> SEPA -- used to be there anyways
> LR -- you REMOVED this feature.

And this warrants a timer on the front page?
2730  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt Gox Soon . . . on: December 01, 2011, 03:27:33 AM
As far as I can see so far, they have just made the interface more pretty!

There is more to it like SEPA for example, and... We will announce a lot of cool things pretty soon too...

What does soon mean? "Soon" from you guys can mean many things.
Are we going to see anything new tomorrow?
2731  Economy / Marketplace / Re: new mtgox ui is slow. n/t on: December 01, 2011, 03:25:57 AM
Thank you mtgox, it is faster now.
2732  Economy / Marketplace / Re: new mtgox ui is slow. n/t on: December 01, 2011, 03:23:45 AM
They seriously need a front-end engineer.

+1.
It is very unfortunate that mtgox is where all the volume is.  We need an exchange with more features, a better UI, and more liquidity.  If mtgox does not step up I'm sure someone will, eventually.

Reason:

This javascript is not packed and takes forever to load.

2735  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many of you have been Zhoutonged? on: December 01, 2011, 12:25:17 AM

If getting 'zhoutonged' means getting reamed using Bitcoinica, what would be a good word for doubling one's money on the same platform?

After Jon posted his fake Rally!! thread BTCUSD went up about 30%.
Expect a huge crash now.
2737  Economy / Speculation / Re: About to hit $3 again... what now, Proudhoun???? (n/t) on: November 30, 2011, 09:50:08 PM
Not worried about this movement in the least.  This is going to be very temporary.  Just watch, the march downward will resume, I don't think there's any question about that.

Moving the goalposts. What happened to your prediction of a reversal at $3?
2738  Economy / Speculation / Re: About to hit $3 again... what now, Proudhoun???? (n/t) on: November 30, 2011, 09:41:59 PM
We're so far over Nagle's Bear Line that even he has to admit his mistake now.
