If miners can just create multiple accounts with 1 miner, why even bother deleting the multiple workers? That's no more than a speed hump...

IMO dev should use, 1 worker/IP/account all together give the best result...
I'm sure they (devs) will fine tune their method of restriction to 50mh, I am so glad to see a coin and its devs paying attention to this growing problem of multipools and rig renters and addressing it! all they do (MP and renters) is devalue any coin and really take the fun and fairness out of mining....especially x11 and 13

@tylerderden - breaking the rules (in general) puts you outside of the system.. when and whether you will be kicked out of it effectively.. you don't need to know really. It is enough you broke the rules. (Don't get me wrong.. I see your point, I guess I would think like you if I was in your shoes, but.. I am not atm.. so can let myself have some 'unbiased' thoughts..)

@MinermanNC - why don't you diversify your risk of mining useless coins by mining different coins (not per machine I guess, but.. not mining one coin on all machines..)?
I am, lol.... I have a mining going on here, and scrypt x11 and regular scrypt mining on blackcoin pool and sha asic on cex.io and I do agree with useless coins" I feel that's all it is anymore Cool
EDIT: But I got your point though..  Wink

what the hell are you talking about misused the system? I have several rigs using several worker names, are you retarded or something?

Well.. the anon clearly states 'designed to be as evenly distributed as possible across vast group of miners'. What did you not understand? A move like that is expected..

sure and i don't have a problem with that, i think it's great to try and limit the hash in fact. but earlier they said they would give plenty of notice, not sure the timeframe he stated but it was not 60 minutes. Fair goes both ways dude, fair timeframe, fair distribution whatever. you don't get to pick and choose when to play the fair card and when to say fuck everybody. Most people use several worker names so you can tell if one is offline, hence the whole reason for the design. having a bunch of rigs under one workername is just stupid and inefficient. i'm sure there are alot of people that are going to be pissed when they get home and half their rigs are disconnected because some of us have jobs and can't hang out in mom's basement all day watching the fans spin. but whatever, mine will just failover to a better coin anyway so..
I am considering mining this coin now, but after seeing that all my rigs will point to 1 worker I'm not so sure. I check them all the time to see if any of stalled etc ...without that I will loose hashing and have to walk out to my mining shed a lot more often! lol I agree with your point, but also agree with what the devs are doing to control rig renters and alike, whom I despise lol,,, I think they should go about it a different way, although this does achieve the objective for them "in a pinch"  Wink

cex.io now has 40% of the network.... pretty impressive,  a ways away from the 51% but? lol

yea lol : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=643984.0  Roll Eyes
good link lol, I'm sure even if they held 55% they cex.io would use that power wisely and not rock their own boat. But it could send a signal that a 51% network attack is feasible at some point by someone someday lol that could be bad for BTC value for sure,,,, its only real vulnerability Smiley

Think we going bye bye on this one....forked this early??? something seems screwed..lol

Nothing is wrong with the code Just like Fercho said, right now it's on Kimoto Dark Gravity Wave until Block 100, diff is too high becasue of all people mining  Cheesy
Yes I saw his post right after posting myself, and I'm in favor kimoto Smiley just wished I knew before panicking lol Im sure its mentioned on the front page... but all is good thx
2789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [LIMX] [X11] LimeCoinX (RE-LAUNCH)(Friday, June 6th) Android Wallet, DGW3 on: June 07, 2014, 01:25:39 AM
we are running kimotogravity just until block 100 when DGW start, diff get to high because all people mining, DGW2 start at block 250 and finally DGW3 start at block 300, when difficult will be more "light"
So that should stymie the rig renters lol
2790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [LIMX] [X11] LimeCoinX (RE-LAUNCH)(Friday, June 6th) Android Wallet, DGW3 on: June 07, 2014, 01:23:17 AM
So pool.mn has almost all the hash (1.04gh/s) yet hasn't actually found a block yet...
Dedic 1,945.04 MH/s

I always pick the wrong pool

Poolest found a block.  :-)
no block count change on DP?

EDIT: Seems to be progressing now

To mine lime or not to mine lime, that is the question lol just seems none of the latest x11/x13 coins have produced much in any real value. Rig renters just line up and mine the piss out of a coin then dump on the exchanges driving and holding the price down. I guess this coin doesn't support digishield either? Guess I have a few hours to decide Smiley But like someone posted, there is a lot of reputable pools to host this coin, but there again, they stand to make a quick buck off the rig renters in fee's, so I am sure they will line up for everyone's mining as well. Yawn.........
2796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 06, 2014, 03:37:24 AM
asic scrypt miners will basically kill the scrypt market. Don't see the point in wasting money on these. It would be different if there was really only 1 coin to mine for as in BTC, besides scrypt coins are dying off to x11 and x13 coins..... you guys will be all alone competing against others with titans etc., so your right back where you started only 9,000 in debt. Might as well have stuck with GPUS.  Wink They will make a nice  conversation piece though lol

True,BUT,BTC will be controlled by the mining corps very soon, not sure how that will playout  Sad

At least with altcoins you have quite a few to switch around to,with BTC nothing we can do but give up mining,at home at least............. very sad days coming  Cry

I'd rather compete with fellow miners than the corps  Tongue

Best of luck !!!!!!!!!!!!  Wink
agree. cex.io already controls about 38% of the hash , ,,, but even then its made up of smaller miners or a mix anyways large and small. But I see very hard times coming for the at home miner. So we moved to scrypt, then x11 now x13,,,, where does that leave anyone? none with any real great value, scrypts etc..... anyways it gives us all a lot to think about as we burn electricity. Best bet is get BTC up to a 1000 or better!! that will make things seem much more fun to mine again,,,, not to long ago I could mine on slushes pool with 2 or 3 decent gpus and make .25- .35 btc in a week, lol those were the days... Smiley

I have about made my mind up I am going back to good ol BTC mining and start buying up asics on the cheap now,,, selling off all of my GPUs that have served me well for about a year and half   Sad I was thrilled that x11 etc. was so much easier on power but there is no money in it compared to just scrypt mining, but then ya have higher utility so,,, its all just getting almost non profitable which ever way ya go with scrypts.... just my opinion lol... guess we could always join em and rent rigs too lol Smiley or maybe rent out my rigs,, who knows, but this bullshit is getting old fast.
2799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LOL] LeagueCoin | X11 | PoW + PoS | Launched! on: June 04, 2014, 09:40:13 PM
so glad x11 came out.wouldnt want those big hashes from asics hammering the coin .lmao.1.2 ghz.what a joke
what's the difference, rig renters are destroying the value of all new x11 and x13 coins at launch then dumping... its getting out of hand. Same difference now..... but I do agree with your point Smiley

PS: Look for pools in the future that are using Digishield  Wink
no worries bro.its a joke really though.why even bother with x11.i just feel for the guys that invest in IPO.

Come on guys spread the hash! It's not cool that one pool is taking again all the hashrate, it will only hurt the coin and cause another fork.
