One of the people talking about it on discord is a Moderator from the discord group MrFanelli.

Anyone who is dealing in raven be it mining or trading should definitely get on the Discord group. More information there and rarely any garbage posts to comb through.

I would assume when Frodocooper logs in next they will clean it up. They haven't been on in nearly 24 hours.

They do tend to go through the section with a fine toothed comb; and have corrected more for less.

Well done drawing attention to it.

Read. That's the best advice I can give you.

Read threads in different areas of this forum, not just spammy megathreads, look for substance.

Check out bitcoin wiki, there is some pretty good stuff there. Use google you can find everything you want to know with the click of a few buttons.

Don't focus on your rank; if you put in the effort you will be able to contribute to the forum and then you will begin to rank up.

And before posting anywhere else read the stickied posts at the top of the section, there is useful information there.

Where abouts in Canada? Checked the Ad out

Is that price CAD or USD. Checked the ad out

Is that shipping price the same for in Canada?

How long have they been running? Also are you willing to split up the units?

Thanks for the info

Yes, it has been sent. It must be stolen. I have backup wallet.dat, but it is still stolen.

Yeah that sucks... It shows your wallet being completely drained. Did anyone have access to your wallet? Did you share your password with someone.

Unfortunately nothing to do but start over and make sure you are safer and more secure this time around

So I was doing my general reading through threads I've posted in this evening and I spit coffee out on my work desk reading this one.

I took out quoted posts, not relevant to my laughing
This term, "more than" is being used quite a bit about these miners, to justify it's shortcomings. To further the justification, the resident Bitmain Haters, ignore these shortcomings in a spiteful bliss. There's no changing their minds about it. 1 out of the 5 they ACTUALLY received, hashes near or slightly above spec, so it's instantaneously proven, to them, the Dragonmint is supreme. Nevermind the other 4, that have to be tinkered with, just to come close to the 1, with a efficiency loss. These consumers are oblivious, simply for the bragging rights of having this miner. <-------insert face palm here!!!

Here came the spit take

the Dragonmint is supreme.
Sure, because they use 10nm chips produced by Samsung, while Bitmain uses 16nm chips.

But I wonder why efficiency is so low -  16TH/s , comparing with Bitmain's 14Th?    10nm should have at least 60% performance over 16 mn, doesn't it?

And Shazam!!! with an understandable response.

I'd prefer you not snip my post, making it look as if I feel they are supreme. They are not and that's my point. Thank you!!!

To note Cuteman was called out by a Legendary member, who asked MODS to have a chat with him, lol. He did "apologize" on the next page; post remained unedited.  Grin Grin

Oh I see, pardon for misunderstanding  Roll Eyes

So I'm guessing people have come across things like this before, post away if you still have them. I have seen the Legendary feud/pissing/hissing matches where they regularly edit the thread title, or each others posts but this was the first lower ranking member I've seen pull this.

3548  Other / Meta / Re: BUMPING??? on: May 10, 2018, 01:30:58 AM
Sorry you are on a public forum  Roll Eyes,

If the post is off topic, use the report to moderator thread.

The person who is trying to get their legendary account back; can't say I blame them.

Repeated threads you can always link the OP to the thread and ask them to lock theirs, or report to moderator that it is a duplicate thread.

I haven't looked any further than what you provided.

Also not sure what the rules are around the rest of the Forum but if you are in Marketplace you can bump a thread once a day, just delete the previous bump.
3549  Other / Meta / Re: System of nMerit on: May 10, 2018, 01:26:38 AM
We should totally implement Nmerit.

Then we can see if the threads about how they didn't deserve Nmerit, can outnumber the "Merit system unfair to my newbie signature campaign" threads.

3550  Other / Meta / Re: People might sell they're merit points. on: May 10, 2018, 01:17:59 AM
I thought I was the only one who think this could gonna happen. New merit requirement is causing everyone a hardship in ranking up. 10 Merit is more worthy than 1 ETH for me so the merit sources have the opportunity to profit easily. All of those jr. Members out there including myself has the tiniest chance of ranking up compared to the higher ones.

What kind of crack are you smoking.

10 Merit for 1 ETH, you are insane. Even if your only goal is to rank up for signature campaigns this is ludacris. Instead you could spend the 800$(CAD) and learn something useful, improve your english if that is what is holding you back and then post some relevant on topic replies that aren't bat shit crazy.

3551  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: merit game... 50 merit to the most entertaining poster.. on: May 09, 2018, 12:02:50 PM
So I shit think that shit this thread shit is great. shit So many shit great dad shit jokes. I shit will have shit to remember shit them for shit my kids. shit As they shit become age shit appropriate.

3552  Other / Meta / Re: Should sMerit be unlimitted? on: May 09, 2018, 11:48:18 AM

It is for signature purposes 😅

Ding Ding Ding, we have the reason.

Now you can see why Smerit aren't unlimited.
3553  Other / Meta / Re: Should sMerit be unlimitted? on: May 09, 2018, 11:45:22 AM
If the Smerit were unlimited it would defeat the purpose of the system.

The idea is that every Tom, Dick and Jomar can't show up here drop garbage all over the place and earn a Full, Senior, Hero, Legendary rank; just to spam around wearing signatures.

3554  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] 40 to 50 Antminer S9 or equiv (Avalon, etc) w/ PS on: May 09, 2018, 11:38:07 AM
Hi I am setting up a pilot project for a mining operation and need 40-50 Antminer S9 units with power supplies.

I am located in Western Canada and would like to use an escrow service and pay in BTC.

PM me if you have some units to sell

Cheers,

Greg

Hey Greg,

Have you considered the Avalons, you can get them from Blokforge out of the US.

Overall great product. They've also began training individuals to provide support in different areas around the globe.

Actually you can also order direct from Canaan, they lowered the MOQ to 40 units for the 841.

3555  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: SOLVE DAILY PUZZLES GET FREE BTC!!! on: May 09, 2018, 11:32:45 AM
Cool idea, I just stumbled on the thread and recognized the location instantly. It's on my annual trip to Whistler.

Good job btcnijuan
3556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I got merits, lots of them - do you want some?? on: May 09, 2018, 11:26:01 AM

No, he's saying you failed to search for HODL and find out its history before posting.

I will say that was one of the funnest facts/history lessons I've had on this forum.

Oh sweet sweet alcohol.
3557  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Review for merits]@Merit Sources! on: May 09, 2018, 11:19:35 AM
I'm confused the thread didn't answer the question on everyone's mind... okay the minds of some.

Did your request to become a source again get approved??
3558  Other / Meta / Re: Haven't got any sMerits since the system was introduced on: May 09, 2018, 11:09:56 AM
Things are drying up, but it is what it is. Originally I though thought the 4 or 5 I got would replenish each month

You only receive sMerit replenishment if you are a merit source.

Otherwise, you get one sMerit for every two merit you receive.

Yes, sorry if I wasn't clear I realized that after a few weeks. Edited my original post

Nightshifts messing with my ability to articulate and spell.
3559  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's Merit source application on: May 09, 2018, 09:01:55 AM

I don't know why theymos is not accepting his/her application yet but sure s/he is one of the better candidate than some other existing merit sources, like the Japanese local board one (I forgot his/her name).

Beats me as well.

I keep checking back here thinking it will be an acceptance notice... probably not most sources tend not to announce it until they've been outed by the Data miners of the Forum.

I started thinking about it and is there a chance that Theymos already considers there to be enough sources in the areas that LoyceV frequents. I know this is not a mentioned metric of the requirements but it was just a thought.

Maybe LoyceV needs to act unstable, to fill the open slot Tongue
3560  Other / Meta / Re: Ownership Question on: May 09, 2018, 08:19:02 AM
Here is a post by Theymos, it doesn't cover all your questions

Bitcoin.org:
 - Cobra has ultimate control over the domain name. I have access to the domain name settings.
 - Cobra runs the server.
 - Will Binns holds the BTC.

Bitcointalk.org:
 - Cobra has ultimate control over the domain name. I have access to the domain name settings.
 - I run the server. Cobra has no access to the database or server.
 - The BTC is held by myself and the treasurers. Cobra has no access.

I am not Cobra. What would even be the point of that?
