44661  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Group Buy #25 AsicMiner Cube Miners and USB Hubs on: December 17, 2013, 09:58:36 AM
I sent for 4 cubes.   https://blockchain.info/tx/f610a76fd8788bd3e9c8825a474bc92939b97a45f93d2e686d7335bbb1ce1c0f

Please explain the label purchase for 4 cubes.. do I buy 4 labels from usps?  then email them to you.

I see instructions for 1 cube then for 8 cubes.
I need the same. label instructions for 2 or 3 cubes. Still deciding on 2/3.
So what box are you guys using for 9X9X8 priority /?
9x9x8 is original box and foam inserts from AsicMiner with cube in original box.  I am shipping 1-7 cubes INDIVIDUALLY. 8 can ship in the large box how I receive them from China with 8 cubes inside. SSB
Ok, so this isn't a priority mail box size. We just specify the dimensions will be 9.9.8 in the label. I have never used a label like this, that's why a few questions so that I don't go wrong.

I just paid him with btc  for the shipping.

He was really good selling am usb sticks.  So if he wants to send me 4 boxes for .112btc   it works for me.

https://blockchain.info/tx/fd3d09e254ebf99e2a17c779f97f6a3044edffc2a3b056089c606263fc9d05f6   tx id for the shipping
44662  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Group Buy #25 AsicMiner Cube Miners and USB Hubs on: December 17, 2013, 02:00:41 AM
So I sent in the btc for 4 cubes.  and I was playing around with the usps.com website.

if I put in a 17 by 16 by 16 inch box  which you say fits 8 and weighs 51 pounds shipping from 58502  to 07731 is 70.64 with 1000 insurance

if I use same size box and fit 4 it would weigh 35 pounds (less most likely) and be  53.53  with 1000 insurance.  an extra 10 bucks

The post office does not need the 17 dollars more then I do. Any clarification on a 4 piece shipment would be helpful.

if I do 4 single boxes it is 18.75 each plus 5 to insure or 23.84 each x 4 = 95 or so.
please clarify..

as of now you have my btc for the 4 cubes and 0 for shipping.

44665  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Black Arrow Software real or fake? on: December 16, 2013, 09:28:10 PM
Blackarrow will deliver the goods, on time. I will be selling my X-1's for a grand each when they arrive. They will sell out in 2 hours.

I purchased 10 shares of one from dZcoop so I will have about 400gh coming on line late feb.  this would be 1/5 of the machine
44666  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY WORLDWIDE] #1 Bitmain Antminer U1 USB Erupter [ANN] on: December 16, 2013, 08:26:15 PM
I wonder if BITMAIN would rather take the risk of auctioning off 100-1000 unit U1's. Only big resellers can upfront the coin and set the retail market. I'm sure there will be a bidding war.

I also wonder if BITMAIN is waiting for cxminerboy to close this thread so they can get on with business. The shunning of him is suspicious.

To me to use ROI, BTC, and miner in the same sentence no longer applies in the BTC world. Maybe never did. USB Erupters are still selling on eBay and USB Furies are still being preordered. Mining is mining. If the U1 comes out now it will sell as it is the best USB game in town.

What they need to do is set a fair price so people know they aren't getting f'd too hard on their markup and so there is room for the resale market.  This is the business side of hardware.  Price too high => resellers won't touch 'em, casual users won't touch 'em.  We're past the point of spree buying for the most part, AM was sure to drive the nails into that coffin when they owned the market for shipping hardware.  Now people understand that ROI is mainly a myth, but an achievable one in rare cases.  If BTC mining survives in any sense of the community you need low-priced, plug-n-play devices.  Try explaining to someone on eBay you have to start jacking a regular PSU to do this or that and you'll lose every sale.  BTC mining needs the aftermarket, but there has to be a first market to start things off.

Again - there is a giant, obscenely sized hole in the hardware market right now.  The casual user is sitting on cash but doesn't want to wait until Q2/2014 or even February for that matter.  Or they are looking at KNC with their "WTF" goggles since running a Neptune is out of reach without custom electrical being run.  Trust me, I wish my little group had more hardware manufacturing experience so we could just build our own devices and avoid places like this forum altogether.  But the AM gold rush was very, very good to us and we're looking to continue working with hardware in both mining and sales capacity.  Unfortunately, most vendors are either short-sighted or insanely greedy and this is why we're now sitting on over $10k that may just be converted into BTC today with the current pricing fluctuations.  No reason to hold off to purchase from Bitmain if they can't even respond to their sanctioned reseller for the U1's.

Hope this story ends a little rosier, but lacking faith.
Yeah my profits just allowed me to buy 2 btc at 640 usd not that I wanted do but I have no product to buy. Oh for the days of 50-100 usb sticks from am being delivered to me 2, 3 ,4 times a week.  I have talked to so many of my ebay buyers.

I am even force feeding myself lite coin mining  just for something to do.
44667  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY WORLDWIDE] #1 Bitmain Antminer U1 USB Erupter [ANN] on: December 16, 2013, 07:28:45 PM
yeah It has been really difficult watching and waiting for the gear...  I stayed on with bit coin due to an ability to make a few bucks with ebay sales. The a sic builders have started coking the golden goose to death.

I get a small kickback from them  for referring you to join.   It comes out of their pocket not yours.   if you do not want to do the referral link  here is a direct link

the account is free to open.   1 NMC = .0063 BTC

so when the nmc get big  at bitminter  say 5 or more send them to vircurex and switch them to  btc

this is my nmc address with them:

MvyqkhN7HotQLejWZMduA8Vq2NLitx4Axx    you can send me a tip for the info or not whatever you want to do.

referrals done right.  I hate when people try to trick people into clicking referral links.
you got that right.  the digital coin world could do some much better if the players were simply more honest. there is a lot of money in the world being sent to crypto coins right now so if people that have some faith in it being a bit more honest it would grow more. Thus all of us would make more coins in the long run.

Are the machines being reworked right now?  It's pretty late but the GH is showing under 700 at the moment.  Maybe it's the new software being loaded!

now it is 900 arrow  and 500 knc.  so if you count the added btc yesterday.  the shortfall of btc is about 10-12. as of yesterday.  but for 1 day  sun to mon we mined under  1.5 th .

which is 1.8th short  that is about 1btc a day at the diff rate of 907 mill.  so this r9-r12 is about 11-13 btc short.  these are rough numbers, but close to accurate.

I am hoping by the end of the week we get to 4th  this way the shortfall will shrink.   If we grew by 1 coin a day until weds. we would be at 13-15btc short fall.

If we went to 4th and stayed there it would shrink down 9-11 by the next payout.  And if we just stay at the 4 vs the 3.3 the shortfall would be done sometime in jan.
44671  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY WORLDWIDE] #1 Bitmain Antminer U1 USB Erupter [ANN] on: December 16, 2013, 01:43:28 PM
yeah but most all usb sticks for mining have ground to a halt. I passed on the red fury  buy that just ended due to the long preorder wait.  those sticks will come to me after Jan and I would have been out of pocket for 2 weeks at the shortest time.  I am beginning to think that asic builders have decided to build bigger gear and mine rather then build the sticks.

Hash fast has been showing its 400 plus gh chips as a working model.  I think the 1.6gh stick here will not be ready and even though  I lost no out of pocket money my ebay sales are at a standstill.  Waiting for a decent stick deal.

This GB looks good, and is priced nice, but is anyone concerned over the future difficulty?  I have just about clicked the button to order, but this keeps me from doing it.

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator

We know with all the machines coming on the market that the difficulty will continue to increase to offset all that hashing power and keep the block time at 10 minutes.

The one caveat is the future BTC price.

I don't mean to throw water on this party, but how is everyone justifying this one?

on dec of 2012 coins were 10 bucks.  they are 840 in dec of 2013 .    A lot of money from lots of people is getting tossed at the world of digital coins. this may be the next dot com craze.

there actually is value to coins real true value in the sense of a practical use. 'home heating'  check out the money spent heating homes worldwide it is big bucks.

right now I am running a hd7970 mining litecoins.  it uses 240 watts of power to earn about 7 dollars a day. for dec-april it will help to heat my home and make money doing it. A lump of gold would just sit in a box doing nothing at all.

there is a way to speed those confirms up a bit. I do this.

https://blockchain.info/tx/544fdc118b71bc632c069935e7bb485ccdea564eef0fc17a849de341aefc39a2

the 1.64 I am moving   to coinbase  represents all of my coin paid today from  dZcoop.

if you see the tx id you see I paid a fee  not a lot but a custom fee of .0011btc or about 1 dollar.

What this does  is  force a speed up of the money that came in to my account.      Paying a small fee moves your priority up a bit.  It also helps for your tax return records.
Yes we pay an auto fee based on what the program thinks is the proper fee we also do a mass send so we can't really control the fee paid(which does reduce the total payout for everyone)

yeah the little add fee of .0011 I paid is well worth it to me.  I sent the 1.64 to coinbase that I got from dZcoop

r5, r6 and r9-r12  all three were not confirmed but since I paid that .0011 the blockchain moves the priorty up on the 1.64 btc I sent  and in order to do that is has to move the priority up on the 3 payments you sent to me.  Plus I created a tax record for the IRS when I file this in Apr of 2014.  Not bad for 95 cents!
Hmm well everyone thank philipma1957 for the quicker payment =)

well just bit quicker up the list.

lets hope for bob to work some magic on this gear over the next week  to get the hash rate corrected.  I am also hoping for a run up on btc price  to occur as it would be nice.
