861  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a Morning Routine have any Effect as a Day Trader? on: June 30, 2023, 09:30:56 PM
Do you have a morning routine as a day trader? I find
that  whenever I follow my morning routine before trading, my focus is unbeatable in the charts and analysis. I usually wake up by 6am and start with cardio or just walk my dog. Next is a light breakfast. Eating light meals is essential because I won't feel very heavy and dull. And on some days, depending on how I feel, I skip breakfast totally for some homemade juice. I repeat my mantra several times ," today is already a great day." After which I go to my computer and start trading. On somedays I make good profits on some other days, I don't. Overall, my morning routine keeps me mentally prepared to face the day. Kindly share some of your morning routine before trading.
I just go for a little exercise just to sweat it out and release all my life’s insanities so I can see a more wholesome self and more life’s positivity. That’s a good start for the day. And I do eat breakfast with a little sip of beverage or coffee as I get used to it every morning. And one most important thing I do consider before trading, I never trade when I’m in doubts or troubled. I know I can only focus on my trades if I am surrounded by good vibes that will motivate myself more to trade successfully and end up with significant profits.
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Considerations Before Investing in Bitcoin - For Beginner on: June 30, 2023, 08:42:55 PM
There is nothing new to read or discuss here, BTC is just like other risky assets that you have to do your own research before buying, it has been said and discussed so many times.
9. Find a Mentor or Consultant
DIY, every information you need about BTC is on the internet, and if you want to discuss about BTC join a BTC discussion forum like Bitcointalk and talk about it in the open, you may be scammed if you talk to stragers privately about BTC, especially if you are a newcomer and do not know what you are doing.
You don’t need actually to find a mentor and pay for it. The bitcointalk forum is open for everyone and is a perfect avenue to know everything about bitcoin investing. If you want to know how to invest in bitcoin and how to make it work and be profitable, just study and learn from the experiences of the other members who have investing in bitcoin for a long time. No need to hire a mentor or consultant as you would end up trusting  a scammer acting like he’s a professional investor when all he’s into is your money and then he’ll vanish like a thin air.
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermall Charlo Super Middleweight (September 16) on: June 30, 2023, 11:35:03 AM
So yeah, pretty much at 168 lbs Canelo Alvarez is unbeatable, the closest fighter to beat him is GGG on their first fight. Charlo might be good at 160 lbs, but this is a new territory for him and we have to question his power if he still has at super middleweight.
Not only his power but also his quickness. You are right, Canelo has been dominating in this weight class, so it's hard to expect him to lose here. Maybe after this fight, we will witness another knockout win from Canelo, further boosting his reputation. This makes me wonder what's next for him. Will he stay in his current weight class or move up to finally challenge Bivol again?
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: June 30, 2023, 08:17:04 AM
Actually, we were all wrong with our speculations, as it turns out Ginebra is the favorite to win. Based on the bookies I just checked, Ginebra has the following odds for moneyline and spread:

Moneyline: Ginebra 1.55 vs DYIP 2.55
Spread: Ginebra -4.5 vs DYIP 4.5
865  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginners Should Follow These To Be A Good Price Predictor on: June 29, 2023, 09:28:15 PM
4. Experience your knowledge with Demo Trading: Its a good choice for beginners to trade with the demo funds before investing real funds. It will help to find out the faults of your analysis without losing real assets. It will also increase the experience of a trader. Some sites are offering Demo trading like Etoro , Bybit etc.
The demo features don't help much, but might be good for anyone too worried about running out of budget. After all, live trading will give them experience and courage, but of course beginners shouldn't rush with big budgets. While the demo can help you figure things out, your worries will likely be the same when it comes to live trading.

My one piece of advice, beginners just need to start trading with a small budget while developing their trading skills. Also don't expect to get rich overnight and stay away from more altcoins.
Demo trading is actually good for beginners but it won’t be reliable enough if you desire to grow as a trader and develop within yourself the qualities of a reputable trader. So you need to experience doing live trading so that even if you lose real money, know that your mistakes also leave lessons for you to ponder. Know that demo trading and trading in live is actually different especially when it comes to handling your own high emotions when you are starting to lose your trades.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: June 29, 2023, 08:29:10 PM
Not the answer you're looking for, but let them enjoy the superhero stuff for now. You don't necessarily need to shove Bitcoin down their throats this early, as they're unlikely to grasp Bitcoin anyway because in the first place they probably barely grasp the concept of money.
Exactly my point. Don’t pressure the kids to learn bitcoin too early just because it will be a great help for them in the future. Know that children are supposed to play most of their time as that will also promote their cognitive skills and emotional well-being. Although you might also end up catching their attention and teaching them about bitcoin, but know that they might only absorb the information at the moment and will be forgotten along the way, because their target is not to learn about money and finances but only just to have fun and play.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermall Charlo Super Middleweight (September 16) on: June 29, 2023, 12:29:48 PM

According to Bivol's camp, they offered too low for their rematch, that's why it didn't happen. So first reason is money. Second, as I have stated, Bivol is with Matchroom and Eddie Hearn, and now Canelo is with PBC and Al Haymon. So we all know that most of the time, boxing politics hinders us boxing fans from seeing great fight and so we might not see a rematch anytime soon.
That's a bad move. Although Canelo is an attraction, it's important to show respect for Bivol, who is the champion and has already defeated him once. A 50/50 split would be reasonable and fair, considering Bivol's current status. Bivol's camp is not asking for a lot; they simply want a fair sharing based on his accomplishments.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 29, 2023, 11:50:05 AM

For this fight, we have been discussing Donaire's age as a factor or non-factor.

Some of us see this as a major issue for Donaire now, as seen how brutal he as knockout by Inoue and it might hard for him to make a comeback. But there are majority who says that age is not a concern for Donaire, as he can still have the power and he has the experience in this fight. For me, I'm leaning towards the latter, I still see Donaire winning here.

He needs to use his experienced wisely, unlike with how he plans his strategy against Inoue,

This time he needs to lean with his experienced and not to engage that much with Santiago, he needs to use his
timing, as we know how good he is when observing his opponent and take that surprise attack to put it down.

Donaire still winning here from my own take, Santiago's capability is not the same or far from how Inoue dominated
this division.

Donaire loves to brawl, and he still believes in his power. I think he is more superior to Santiago. Inoue, on the other hand, is in a different class. He possesses both power and speed, which is why he has been extremely dominant. Now, it's Donaire's time to shine. Despite his age, although some have doubts about his ability to dominate, personally, I believe he can become a unified champion if the organizations make fights like that happen.

And now the excitement begins. If bisdak is watching the game, I'm sure he is thrilled with what he is seeing as NLEX is competing well. In fact, they are currently leading by a single digit. I believe that NLEX is poised for a win here, which would also mean a victory for bisdak in terms of the moneyline and the handicap.

Congratulations in advance!
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: June 28, 2023, 11:40:59 AM
It's not that difficult to gather people to gamble, even I have a lot of gambling friends, but rarely do they want to register under my referrals, because they know I will benefit from their losses, fortunately I'm not someone who likes to take advantage of friends' losses. , so I better promote my referral link to people outside of my friendship.
You might have misunderstood what gambling is. Of course, you'll earn from your friends' losses because they played under your referral. However, the fact that you think you'll take advantage means you already presume that they will lose their money when they gamble. Otherwise, you would just discourage them from gambling.

Well, if that is the case for me, I would be glad to profit from their losses rather than the site taking all the profit.

Besides, there's nothing personal; it's business. They gamble to have fun and a chance to win, but losing is part of the game.
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2023, 10:23:13 AM
Maybe seeing Paul and Steph starting at the same time.
There is a possibility that this approach would help Curry conserve his energy, as they would already have a facilitator, while he and Thompson focus on finding open shots. It would result in a smaller lineup, but adjustments can always be made.
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Crypto Games) A revolution in the gaming industry or a passing trend? on: June 27, 2023, 02:13:29 PM
Today I would like to understand and find out your opinion about the real value and potential of crypto games. I am interested to know how much they can change the gaming industry, what challenges and problems are associated with them? Grin

Please be more specific. What do you mean by "crypto games"?

If you are referring to games in a crypto casino, they are actually quite similar to the games offered in traditional fiat casinos. The main difference lies in the form of payment method. In fiat casinos, we use cash as the payment method, whereas in crypto casinos, cryptocurrency is used for transactions.

I suggest Kabayan to create a dedicated thread for his journey so that it can be exclusively focused on his progress. Of course, he can still post his bets in this thread, and those interested can follow along. Based on your experiment, it seems that you can be committed in the long run.

As for tomorrow's game between TNT and the Bolts, do you think TNT will be able to break their losing streak? Are you still betting on them, Kabayan?
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2023, 12:36:39 PM

If they'll be able to develop a good chemistry, a strong bond as a friend,

Just like how Bam and Jimmy, if Dame will be able to adopt and fit himself the way these two stars are bonding together, for sure it will be a tough trio to beat up, all are a good threat when handling the ball but adding to that they are also good when playing decoy. More on chemistry blending if ever Dame manages to sign with the Heat.

They already have the necessary skills, so it's crucial for the chemistry to be formed. However, that is still far from happening, so we will have to wait for updates to see if Lillard would be able to join the Miami Heat. It would be a crucial move for both Lillard and the team, especially considering the Heat fell short in the last NBA Finals and were dominated. It's evident that there is a lot of room for improvement for the team.

I will remain hopeful that the Heat will improve, and if Lillard is the answer, then hopefully they will open doors for him.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2023, 11:28:24 AM
Rumors are that Damian Lillard is not happy that the Trailblazers didn’t try and trade their pick to get him some win now help. He’s also basically stated that he wants to be in Miami with Bam and Jimmy. It seems like this is going to happen and probably going to happen this week. I still think the Beal trade is the big move so far though.

Without a doubt he's gonna opt out if the Traileblazers aren't going to get him a good help. This is just another similar story of LeBron with the Cavs when they all let LeBron carry the whole squad without providing him with any legitimate teammates.

He maybe got pressured by fans to get a ring that's why he now thinking to go out on Blazers since he cannot get any if he stays as his team seems doesn't nor have capability to build a good rooster that can help them to be a title contender next season. Lillard prove so many things in Blazers and I guess that's enough already and its time for him to chase up some rings since its good to retire that you have at least one accumulated on your playing career.

Getting a ring? That's too much to expect, considering their team's poor defensive performance. It's unlikely that they will ever win a championship. The team hasn't shown much development, and despite being expected to make the playoffs, they missed out last season and even shut down Lillard early. It seems reasonable for him to leave or for the team to trade him because it's evident that Lillard doesn't fit with the Blazers when it comes to the goal of winning a championship.
876  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I Recover my loss of crypto on this platform? on: June 26, 2023, 09:40:44 PM
Hay, I am New here and know about Bitcoin for the last few years but I lost many times in crypto trading. So my question is that how to trade Securely and profitably?
Sounds like a guaranteed advise you want there? From your words securely and profitable thats depend on your knowledge. No one is safe from a loss no matter how good trader you are and there are some point that you will likely experience some losses and down too. But guess what? Its normal cause everybody make mistakes. Things you need to lessen those are confident and avoid greediness cause thats what really happened to some people.
There’s no such thing as guaranteed profits when it comes to trading or even investing. Everything comes with risk of losing, so if you can’t manage the risk well and perform less, there’s always chances that you will lose more of your capital. However, if you try to be more worthy and decent trader this time and take learning trading more seriously and with bigger faith, then probably you will regain some of your losses in your previous trades. Trading is hard and complicated and so you need to exert a lot of effort to make it work and successful.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Crypto Advice on: June 24, 2023, 07:28:42 PM
Sorry to put it out but this isn’t the right way to go about investment. You can ask people to just send DM and you trust the suggestion of a total stranger which may turn out to be a scammer. I am sure that anyone that would be sending you PM would mostly be someone that would want to promote there shitcoins.

If seriously you’re actually in for investing and then you would need to go through everything yourself and the only cryptocurrency that fits your criteria for retirement investment is bitcoin. But even that needs some knowledge on Its security and the rest. If you are truly interested in investing in them which I doubt from your post then read through the pin charts on the forum or other articles. If you need help ask it by creating a thread and stop asking for people to PM you to avoid something that I am sure would lead to you been scammed
I have to agree with you mate. Learning crypto investing is not just as easy as that like sending an email and point out which coin to invest. You have to learn it all by yourself because you can’t be a good investor in the first place if you simply rely from others for your decision. And the fact that crypto particularly bitcoin is highly volatile and you can’t expect a fixed but a roller coaster price, then the more that you have to do your own diligence to study how bitcoin works and how it will be profitable as an investment. After all, all your efforts and hard work will eventually paid off in the end and will give you life changing profits that you can never imagine.
878  Economy / Economics / Re: Landed properties is the best investment on: June 24, 2023, 06:47:40 PM
not only in Nigeria, but also in other countries, land is a very important investment. Personally, since I started investing, saving and doing business, land is one of my goals. There are so many advantages of owning large land. even you can create a new business like gardening, then do export, or you make changes or apartments, and so on. besides, if the location is strategic, it can increase the selling value in a short time.
Yes, land investment has gained a lot of demand in almost all countries. It’s value will always appreciate especially if the site location is perfect for business. Even myself I am still in the process of saving my hard-earned money so I can own a piece of land one of these days. This is very important for me since our family has been renting the whole time, the reason why I am so much determined to own even a single piece of it. Land has always been a valuable asset, that makes it a very good investment up to these days.
879  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting Some Merit really boosted my motivation on: June 24, 2023, 06:21:08 PM
Even on high ranks we still get a joyful feeling when we received merits. It does means that we are beinf helpful or someone must have like the response or topic that being shared. Receiving merits are one of the best feeling when you are here in forum and I understand what you means since you have a goal to rank by means of merits. It will eventually come anyway, just be motivated always and do your best to contribute in this forum.

That's right, even though I'm at the top rank, I'm still happy when I get more merit. Maybe the feel will be differents with members who are trying to reach the rank of Junior member to Legendary. However, when there is additional merit i get from the posts I made, i'm still happy with that. So, basically, for some member, merit is more than just to rank up. But to show to other member who they are. Well, the character will be different for those who have merit, the most important thing is that we can continue to learn to contribute, that is the main goal in this forum.
It’s always a great feeling receiving some merits especially if it’s given from reputable members in the forum. It will certainly uplift yourself and will develop more motivation to even improve what you currently have. However, we should not feel pressures when we rarely receive it as it does not mean that our post are not good and quality enough. As long as you’re align with the rules and you’re giving the best what you genuinely have, then you’ll always be a reliable and good contributor to the forum.
880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 24, 2023, 05:56:35 PM
Some people are truly misinterpreting Bitcoin: Bitcoin is not a job; it is a decentralized currency created to provide people with financial freedom.

Although women are not exempt from Bitcoin if they have an interest in Bitcoin investment, taking it as a career is a bit inaccurate.

I know that Bitcoin trading is a profession that one can take as a career, but it is not fully dependable due to the nature of the market, even though I know some people who are very professional and quit their job for Bitcoin investment.
That’s the reason why a lot have entered bitcoin investment or trading and end up quitting because they expect that it will give them a source of living that will sustain their basic necessities in life. Well, bitcoin is not a type of a job, but a decentralized currency, yet it’s more known as an investment these days since bitcoin being used as a payment system is not yet globally adopted. Yes, it can give us substantial profits but it will never be a reliable source for living due to its very unpredictable market.
