Here are the results of groups D to F.  A couple of surprises here as two of the most consistent guys who proceed to Round of 16 are out, ZerO and Light.  And Ample, a guy who isn't really that good of a player beat one of the best Zerg players in the tourney...  Twice!  Lol.

So yeah...  On we go to the Round of 16.  Group selection and the draw will be on August 28.

Here's the replay for Group C with Artosis and Tasteless.  Enjoy...

And I was kinda leaning towards Arnold Allen when they fought as I thought Holloway would start dipping in performance.  I was wrong.  He still has it.

Holloway is a specimen. He ate a lot of shots in that fight against Allen, but Allen is no joke as he was on 12-win streak before that fight.
Surprises happen but I can't see Korean Zombie winning the next fight, unless by an injury. Odds for Holloway are 1.12 (Unibet), which is as low as it gets.
The problem with Max is he has nowhere to go. He fought Volkanovski 3 times already, so I don't expect UFC will be super happy to run it again, and not sure if Max would want it either.
I'd love to see him against O'Malley, but he wouldn't make weight and if O'Malley is to move up, it won't be anytime soon.

Watched the last couple of Holloway fights except the Volk one...  He kinda did dip in performance a bit vs Yair Rodriguez and Arnold Allen but I don't think he dipped enough to lose vs TKZ.  Dunno...  But the line has totally no value.  Prolly avoid unless there's a good prop like Holloway to win at R4 or at R5 line at 7.00 - 10.00 or something.  And if there's a Holloway to win via decision at 3.00 and above, I would love that.

And I'd rather see O'Malley vs Sandhagen, the rematch with Vera, vs Sterling 's team mate Merab Dvalishvili and vs Khabib's cousin Umar Nurmagomedov.  I think Nurmagomedov could beat O'Malley and make it look easy tbh.  Them Dagestanian dudes are built different.

Here we go.

Again

Wheater will be probably rain according to google.

Souce:

Wups...  At least it's gonna make it a bit more exciting and kinda unpredictable.  :/  You never know, Verstappen might make a tiny mistake, slip a bit on the track and hit the barriers.  Grin  It's not that I'm hoping for it to happen, I just want to see some excitement back.  It's been a couple of years since 2021.  And it's really been nothing but a borefest.

I could already see it...  VER, NOR because PER will suck again, then prolly HAM or LEC fighting for the third spot on the podium.  So yeah, if Norris finishes anywhere decent at quali and if his line still is 2.25 to finish top 3, I'd prolly take that line.

According to the source below Zak Brown says that McLaren has no big gaps to fill from now on. He thinks that they can go for titles with big infrastructure upgrades.

However I don't know about this. Because Red Bull are just insanely ahead of all the remaining teams. No matter how big upgrade a rival team brings Red Bull still manage to answer them strongly. It is about having a big budget in hand at the same time of course. But as far as I know McLaren is one of the rich teams now. They should use this money as effective as possible to get closer to Red Bull's level.

But I don't know if they can do this until the 2026 season where things will change a lot in the sport.

Source: https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/mclaren-has-no-more-big-holes-to-fix-as-it-targets-f1-titles-brown/10510193/

He prolly saw a technical loop hole they could exploit next year and on 2025.  Grin  Kidding...  Yeah most of these guys like to promote and market their teams to keep people interested.  And it's also good for team morale to stay positive.  But who knows, they might know something that we don't.  They have been looking good as of late.

Anyway, here's the time table this weekend.

Yeap, you are crazy. Imho Holloway gonna take Korean Zombie to boxing school and give him some hard lessons. Max has only lost to a champ (3 times lol, but all the fights went full distance) and Poirier in peak form. I doubt that those 7cm reach advantage gonna play a big role, Zombie is not much of a knockout artist. Winning few rounds is also not likely, if the stupidly throw strikes, then Max is a strike spam machine.

Yup...  That's how I see it happening too.  By the time the match is over, TKZ's face would be beaten to a pulp.  Kinda like how Holloway did Brian Ortega.  But then again we just saw Sterling got KO'd by O'Malley.  So what do I know...  Lol.

And I was kinda leaning towards Arnold Allen when they fought as I thought Holloway would start dipping in performance.  I was wrong.  He still has it.

...  And Sharp did pull an upset vs Jaedong.  I think Jaedong was lined at like 1.35 or something.  I don't how the books lined him so deep vs a somewhat decent Terran player.  Maybe 10 years ago, I'd agree with the line.  But now?  Pffft.  That's highway robbery.

It is good that on top of bantamweight is a striker, because among top fighters of this division we have a guy who wears papakha on his homeland Cheesy If Nurmagomedov was to face Sandhagen, and Sandhagen is one of the first contenders on a title fight. Then in 2-3 fights we might see O'Malley got submitted by another Dagestani Cheesy I bet O'Malley gonna beat Dvalishvili/Sandhagen next, and revenge Vera.

You guys are forgetting about Khabib's cousin, Umar Nurmagomedov.  Grin  He supposed to fight Corey Sandhagen but had to pull out due to injury, so Rob Font went in on short notice...  Had Umar Nurmagomedov fought Sandhagen, good chance he would've won and become one of the contenders for the title.

Among the top guys, I think Vera is the easiest match up for O'Malley.

Anyway, I almost forgot.  Here's the post fight press conference.

892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AI Coins Speculation on: August 21, 2023, 12:55:45 PM
AI every where from chatgpt, tesla, nvidia recent hardware. everything pumped fueling new way of technology running
many things from video, marketing, and gaming already featured advance AI. gaming industry mostly gain so much help from AI to build metaverse easier. UE5 already implemented AI map creation which is core for metaverse
The AI hype is everywhere rn.  And like all the hyped up stuff done in the past it all goes down and drops like flies making you think it's over and done with.  But then when you're not looking...  A couple of years later real projects emerge with real tech backing them, not just hype.

So in crypto, keep your eyes peeled on which of these AI projects have good devs and have enough funding to see their projects through the bear market.
This "may" look a bit different eventually. How? AI is still being improved and right now it sucks, it gets worse even which is why it's such a terrible thing but when we are talking about something that changes the world into a different situation, then we can say that AI will have a future that will change the way we live.

It's going to improve our lives a lot more if it grows to be better. The fact that it started better and sucks right now is sad, don't know what happened, but everything is worse right now, and if it could improve than this could be better. That could trickle down to crypto as well and we could have a great AI improvement on our crypto world as well. It just needs time to be developed better.

I'm not purely talking about the tech tho it could matter, but I'm talking about how markets are run by narratives and the rotation of those narratives.  I'm pretty sure you notice it happen from time to time.  It could be AI now then in a couple of months it's all about memecoins and on it goes to something else.

But if you guys want to just wait for a narrative that pumps the hardest, just wait for memecoins to start going up.  A good pump from a memecoin will make up for all your missed trades from waiting.  But that's just me.

6. Versatus Network (VRRB)
7. Namada (By Anoma foundation)
8. Shardreum (Only for the  node runners)
9. Celestia (Only for the  node runners)
10. Berachain
11. 5irechain
12. Espresso Systems
13  Zetachain
14 Over Protocol
Any more obscure L1s you mean ? Because i am sure there's a reason why you picked the one no one has even heard of? Also only one i googled didn't even have a marketcap indexer yet.

Answer to your question: Yes, you missed every serious L1 out there. I am going to google your list later on as i am interested about new ones, but maybe you should have put more effort and include some data and insight in this post. Now it's just a generic list of random L1s out there.

Don't take anything for granted.  Just put them in a watchlist somewhere and take a look at them again under more bullish market conditions.  You'd be surprised how many of these obscure projects go trend up really high from nothing.  Trust me...  I've missed out on a lot of value at a time when I preferred to purely invest in 'good projects', with XMR being my biggest bag during the 2017 bull market.  I made a little something but it was the laggard.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 21, 2023, 12:33:24 PM
-snip-

I pretty much doubt that.  Vera's last match before Munhoz was a 5 round main event vs Sandhagen, who's one of the best 135'ers in the UFC right now and it ended in a split decision.  Even tho it was a loss for Vera, it isn't a bad loss imho.  He performed better than expected.

I agree with the Pedro Munhoz fight Vera did great Marlon Vera has given more damage to Pedro Munhoz you can surely see that in the face of Munhoz, you can say that Pedro Munhoz got the 1st round because Chito Vera will begin in a slow pace and will always let his opponent strike 1st and getting a hang on how his opponent will be approaching, well in his fight with Sandhagen he admits that he doesn't feel well and he just let Cory take him down,

Yup what an upset.  I think the ref stopped it a tad early tho.  All in all, was a good one for O'Malley.  Can't wait for his next  match up.  I hope it's a rematch vs Vera...  And man, I wonder how he'll size up against the likes of Sandhagen, Dvalishvili and Cejudo.  It's gonna be a good couple of years at UFC 135.

Sean O'Malley wants a rematch against Marlon Vera he already said that he wants a rematch I really think this is his ego talking he doesn't believe that Marlon Vera defeated him in that fight so he truly wants a rematch, to cover up that loss, or maybe he wants a picked fight on his 1st title defense just for him to be safe,

UFC on ESPN: Holloway vs. The Korean Zombie

Women's Flyweight: Erin Blanchfield vs. Taila Santos

This is what I am anticipating for an Erin Blanchfield fight and her Astonishing move to be champion because I think she can after that 8 consecutive wins she got 2 more and it will be a road to 10 wins for her really an incredible fighter to be a figure and to be an inspiration for the Women Community that Woman can also do it, for sure Erin Blachfield is setting up her career pretty much well,

^  Yup, Blanchfield vs Santos is gonna be a banger for a WMMA match up...  And I'm not sure why it's one notch above the bottom at the main card.  They're both ranked at the top 5 and the winner could be next to fight Grasso for the title.  It should be the co main event imho.

As for O'Malley, I think he just wants to get that L back.  Looking back, it was a fluke.  Vera did get lucky hitting the nerve that makes the leg numb.  I mean what's Vera gonna do?  Hit it at the exact same spot?  That's not happening...  On the other hand, Vera is one tough dude...  He's never been finished.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2023 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: August 20, 2023, 12:55:43 PM
It wasn't really that big of an advantage anymore, 2021 was really close between Red Bull and Mercedes.  And the FIA thinking that the 2022 specs would be better for F1 because it would remove the dirty air and make it easier to over take were wrong.  Pretty sure Adrian Newey found a couple of loop holes here and there and took advantage of it.  I'll say it again, if F1 stayed with the 2021 specs for a couple more years we would have had a couple more exciting seasons.

As for the way things are now, it's isn't really good and 2026 is a long way off.

Attention, they changed the rule in the winter of 2020.

In the 2021 they got the new car with -30% drag on the back of the car.

It is only for this reason RBR won the title otherwise Mercedes kept the dominance.

Yeah you're right...  But I doubt Mercedes would've kept their dominance.  Adrian Newey was onto something during the 2021 season that's why it was so close between them and Mercedes.  And as far as I know, usually it's Toto Wolff who lobbies for technical spec changes.  :/  Not sure but anybody can look it up online.

^  Not sure about some branch of the company.  But I checked Blizzard's site and it looks like the removed the free download of the SC/BW anthology prolly a few months after the released StarCraft Remastered.  It's still the original game but with slightly improved graphics.  They sell it cheap for 14 bucks.  That's like just a couple of coffees from Starbucks.  Lol.

Anyway, Groups D to F are playing this week!  And as far as leans go, I'd go for Light ZerO Bisu and Action.  And I feel like Sharp could pull the upset.  Jaedong is erratic at times.  Check the betting market at Stake to see the lines.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 20, 2023, 12:37:10 PM
I'll go out on a limb and predict Pedro Munhoz defeating Marlon Vera.

Judging from Vera's last performance, it seems he isn't training. He's not working hard in the gym anymore.

Holy shit, Sean O'Malley knocked out Aljamain Sterling which i was not expecting the fight to be this easy for Malley and i was picking Aljamain Sterling to win Cry. Picture perfect right hand to his face and Aljamain Sterling fell flat on the ground and he finished the fight.

Ian Garry kicked the shit out of Neil Magny even though the fight went to a decision.

^  I was gonna give you another merit for saying that you wanted to learn more about the game but since you also said you were also interested in playing SC2, well...  No merits for you.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  StarCraft 2 doesn't exist in my universe.  Lol.  Grin

I mean seriously, try learning the basic mechanics of SC1 and after having some decent skill playing it, go try SC2.  You'll get what I'm saying.  There's just no comparison.

I'm waiting for the transfer window to close to have my final predictions, but as of today, this is what I think the top 4 will end up looking like.

1) Man City
2) Arsenal
3) Chelsea
4) Liverpool

-ADante

I don't think Arsenal will have the same result as they had last season.  Their squad wasn't really the best.  Arteta simply squeezed every drop of performance he could from them while the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea were underperforming.  Had the latter two clubs had their normal performance, I don't think Arsenal would've finished second...  I think we see a resurgence from Klopp and his boys.  Among all the managers of the top EPL clubs, Klopp is the only guy who has Pep's number. :/

Anyway, I'm loving the new site.  Good job guys.
