Nice to see that we've got nodes/wallets operational in the following countries (in descending order of node count):
United States of America Serbia Russian Federation China France Netherlands Germany Canada Israel Bulgaria Sweden Finland United Kingdom Luxembourg Spain Hong Kong Slovenia Australia Austria Vietnam India Romania Hungary

Not sure what the point of this behaviour is.

It's the same person buying their own sell walls. Has about 16-20 bitcoin and has been putting those in the buy book right after the pump. Just probably trying to create some fake volume before the release. Didn't pump it beyond 13k satoshis because there is a 15k spr wall there. At least that is my analysis... Edit: The reason I think it is the same person is because I have been watching top wallet addresses. The wallet that I had been watching picked up about 15k or so spr on that small pump I noticed that the 15k wall was still there too. Oh well, its all good.

300 SPR for the person that guesses when Georgem goes Legendary (nearest will do).
I'll be paying out tomorrow (unless my hangover is particularly bad) - Georgem just went Legendary. He still says Hero for me! Yeah - still hero, either coins101 indeed has a hangover or the forum system is playing a trick on us... Release service nodes testnet, and you instantly become a Legend. Aaaah. It was a joke. Very funny mate

At current prices and with 100 Service Nodes, things still look healthy: My guess is that as nodes increase, the price will increase and so running a ServiceNode should, in theory, always be profitable? Very interesting how much coins for a Spr Node 25000? This is to be decided. There is a proposal that will be tested where there is no fixed entry point for a service node. For example, the maximum number of service nodes might be capped to (coin supply / 2880) and that number of service nodes with the highest balance and good performance will be selected for payment. This is to be tested in testnet. If that (or variant) doesn't work, I assume a fixed price will be chosen. I personally like the fixed price idea because it wouldn't cap the number of service nodes. Having said that, I like the idea that the entry point for service nodes could be set by the market and not an arbitrary figure. Thx for the detailed explanation Hopefully it made a little sense!

Nearly 70,000SPR traded in the last 24 hours.

We'd really like to have SPR listed on more than one exchange. Please take a moment to submit a coin request to Poloniex if you can. https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

I've just remembered that I have been running a SPR node and a Bitcoin full node on the same server for about 5 months now. I'll collate the resource usage details when I have a bit of free time.

16nm miners must be in the wild. BTC hash rate just jumped, difficulty still has a few days to catch-up. Someone is making some serious money at the moment. The secret miner inside of me is a bit jealous.

I'm going to observe the market and may place an appropriate wall to make things less attractive for pump groups. I don't want this coin being undermined by a few people looking for a quick buck when there is a bunch of people working their asses off to innovate.
Or should I just let things take their natural course? I guess it all evens out in the long run and if we get some increased exposure it may be for the best.
When the real demand comes your wall will look like a fart in hurricane. Also let's get this listed on polo, that would give us loads of more exposure. Here is the Poloniex Coin Request link, let's make it happen: https://poloniex.com/coinRequestGood idea. When discussed before we decided not to dilute volume but I'm in favour of another exchange now.

What happened to spread coin Single guy\group buy in with 30 bitcoins to remove sell orders up to a certain price 5-6x higher than before, then they sell into the following public hype, doubling their intitial 30 bitcoins to 60-70-80 bitcoins while coin stay dead for another year or two. rinse. repeat. Altcoin scene in a nutshell! Maybe you're right but you're not going to get much hype from the SPR team. Plenty of time to judge the project on results and developments.
