941  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction on: November 24, 2023, 06:54:33 PM
^Evidently, it is getting closer to be real more and more everyday, we are at 38k right now give or take, and reaching another 7k higher is not really all that crazy, we could definitely see that happening eventually and should be considering that this AI could be right about the situation.

This doesn't mean that we should ask AI all the time, but I didn't believe that AI would be right even just this time, and yet it is getting closer to it. Of course we still have some time for the year to end, we have about 35 days or something, which means that it could be wrong too, maybe we will never reach 45k, maybe we won't even break over 40k, who knows? Or the other way around, maybe we will end at 50k, who knows? We still have some time to see.
942  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Illiquid Supply Hits An All-Time High on: November 24, 2023, 05:55:41 PM
This is basically just a way to prove that bitcoin is at a all time high expectation at the moment. All these people bought and holding bitcoin because they believe that they could make insane profit in the next year or two, that's the proof. I mean why would this many people, would hold this much bitcoin, if they didn't think that it would go up a lot. I think it's quite crucial information because it also proves that we are going to have what we think we will. I mean I think it will go up a lot in the next year, maybe even for two years, and I do not have any data to back that up, it may not go up too, we do not know.

However, at least I can show this data and say that there are plenty of people like me who expect the same thing as well, that's a good benefit because if I am wrong then a lot of people are wrong too, and if I am right then we all did the right thing. That's a good comradery type of thing or whatever you call that, we are doing something or at least expecting something as a whole community.
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s $4B settlement the green light for spot Bitcoin ETFs? on: November 24, 2023, 05:08:30 PM
I believe that it is not really a green light directly, but indirectly we could say that it's definitely not a red light. I can't say that ETF is looked at right now in a good manner and will be accepted, but I can easily say that ETF is not looked at like they want to reject it at all, and that's a good thing. When you have options of "doing good vs doing bad" and suddenly that turns into "doing good or staying same" that is an improvement as well, I think this is clear indication that it is not getting rejected, maybe postponed again, maybe fixed some things, maybe some issues, but it is not getting rejected and that's an important information for me.

I believe that as long as we have that kind of return, that means we would be able to actually get it approved one day, not rejecting and sending it back with some issues means that "fix these and come back so we can accept it" and not just rejection, that's a great improvement on where we are standing right now.
944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OFAC-Sanctioned Transactions Being Censored on: November 24, 2023, 04:12:19 PM
I mean everyone can make mistakes, I believe that everyone deserves a second chance, this isn't really as big of a deal as people think. I get that if it was something huge then we would have something that would be quite difficult to handle, but when we are in a situation like this, it is not going to be all that crazy to be fair and we should see it change one way or another.

I believe that the best thing to do right now would be making sure that you could end up with a profit if you know what you are doing with mining, and this company does know what they are doing and they are a strong one and preferred one by many miners, so there shouldn't be really an issue with it and we should keep it going as strong as ever.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 24, 2023, 03:40:39 PM
Finally the game is there, and I think we are going to see a game that is viewed by a lot due to the time, there isn't really that many Friday games that deserve this much attention, maybe one or two but depending on which one you like more, this one could be more fun.

This means that tonight everyone will be looking at this game, usually means there will be more money wagered on this too, because when there are other games too at the same time, people look at other games too which means they wager at other games too, but when such a game, and not like PSG will dominate, they are not by far better, there is a suspicion that they may drop points too, this means most people will bet on this game and end up watching it as well.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 24, 2023, 02:40:40 PM
Jude is not back just yet, he may miss one or two more games but then he will be back, it is not like a full season ending type of injury, it's just maximum two more games and then he will be back. I think it is quite important for them to have him back, because he has played like the best player they had on that team for a while, like first 7-8 games he was looking like the best player on that team and scored like he was the best scorer while being just a midfielder.

I think it is quite good to see that, it is not going to be all that shocking and we should be considering the situation quite good. I believe that we are going to see them do fine, and that will definitely end up helping them out on the long run when he comes back too. They still do have other great players, so when he is missing they shouldn't be losing games, it is not like he is their only good player, they are Real Madrid, they should be able to get wins no matter what happens.
947  Economy / Speculation / Re: My analogy towards breaking the silence of Binance and the rumours around crypto on: November 23, 2023, 08:30:10 PM
And to say that CZ was a criminal, and Binance got punished for it, without checking what the both sides were saying is a wrong start to all of this.

CZ may or may not be wrong, but we do not have all the data to back that, what if USA just blackmailed Binance to fire CZ with this fine? I mean have we seen the wire transfer Binance made in tune of 4.3 billion dollars to SEC? We have not, so maybe it is "either pay us 4.3 billion, or fire CZ from the top" type of situation? It could very well be something like that, maybe CZ was innocent but attacked by the government because he did not follow their orders? We are certain that both of those things are possible and to say that Binance is risky just because of that starts seeming fair as of now.
948  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What’s your portfolio building strategy for crypto? on: November 23, 2023, 08:08:09 PM
Not really something huge, I earn money, and I try to save some aside and buy coins, and I keep a percentage stable as much as I possibly could. Not able to do it lately, unfortunately life has thrown some terrible news at all times to me, and it is a sad moment in my life but sometimes you have to remember that sad times are there to make sure you are appreciating the good times.

However, if we go back to portfolio stuff, I keep 50 of my money in btc, and 20% on eth and 20% on bnb type of deal, or it could change but not a lot, like sometimes 60 in btc and 20% in eth and 10% in bnb, like right now not because I sold anything but price went lower. So if I get new money, I buy something and make it stay around there, I do not buy each of them every time, I buy one there and one here and keep it stable at these rates, the rest goes to shitty stuff.
949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex shutting down: What can exchange do differently to avert this trend. on: November 23, 2023, 07:18:59 PM
The idea that centralized exchange is bad because the yare being attacked right now is not really a smart idea. I mean just because Binance got a fine, and bittrex is shutting down, doesn't mean that centralized is the bad idea. I mean I can show you a million DEX that got hacked and all the money was emptied from the liquidity providers as well, there are bots that does automatic trading to ruin everyone there. So all in all, I can easily say that CEX is still better, just because sometimes these things happens, doesn't mean it's bad.

Moreover, not like they are stealing your money, if you have money in them then withdraw it, that's allowed, which means that there is nothing wrong with the exchange at the moment and you can still continue to use them. I believe that we are looking at something that's going to be quite fine, it's just a business that looked at the profits and loses and they realized that it is not worth it and decided to close shop that's it.
950  Economy / Economics / Re: How come both the "gas" and "fee" prices shoot up without ETH and BTC move? on: November 23, 2023, 06:41:22 PM
The issue is that the transaction numbers increase a ton, and we need to realize that we can't really have it both ways, we can't have a big bull run where the price goes above 70k+ and at the same time keep the transaction quick and cheap. That doesn't exist, or at least it doesn't exists right now, and we need to keep thinking about that.

I know that it is not going to be easy at all, and I know that we are going to end up with something that would be difficult to handle, but we need to arrange something that has to be a bit different. I get that it is not going to be all that incredible, and yes it is not going to be a bigger deal, I hope that it gets to a point where we could just find a way to have bigger blocks, which means that more and more transactions could fit into it, even smaller ones, and make it quick. That would be a good situation, and should be a good return on our investment because we are spending a lot less in that situation as well.
951  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchange Binance punishes Russians for the war in Ukraine on: November 23, 2023, 05:48:01 PM
Honestly, I am feeling like there is going to be some sort of situation where they are basically handling it in a way that they are going to be fine, not that it is going to be that easy but they are having a battle with USA right now via SEC which means that we are talking about a situation where USA could make them do whatever they want them to do, and Binance will have to follow. Think about it, they are punished 4.3 billion dollars right now by the SEC and CZ is gone, if USA is this strong about it, then I have to say that it is going to be quite a big deal for them, and they should do something that will benefit them on the long run.

I believe that we are going to end up being a lot better one way or another, it should be the case and should be their benefit. Hopefully they could get better, and I get that it may look like it is not that easy, but at the end of the day we are talking about something that is possible for the reason why they are doing this.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should start looking into Altcoins on: November 23, 2023, 05:20:50 PM
I can't talk about specific coins or tokens because it may feel like that could be not that right for many people, but at the same time I feel like we are talking about something that will end up with a huge trouble on the long run if we do not look into certain projects. I think I can say that at this current moment finding the right one is the hardest part, I agree that if you invest into anything in the market, you have a good chance of either making money, or putting your money into something wrong.

It is true that some altcoins will go super high, and that investment is important and you should be making some money and that's fine, but that doesn't change the fact that we can't make money from it, we can still do it, we just need to be careful about it as much as we possibly could. That should be important part of the situation and could maybe make a profit if we are smart about it. So altcoins are fine to invest, but which ones are not known at the moment.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges being attacked in the verge of BTC ETF on: November 23, 2023, 04:49:00 PM
I really do not think that this has anything to do with that, yes Blackrock is rich enough to make this work and they can definitely pay the right people to make this happen, but I also believe that they do not really care about it neither. Remember, we are talking about a company that deals with rich people, they are not going to take 100 bucks from someone who lives in a far away nation, so exchanges still have their part, and the only people these ETF people really want to get is the ones that invest millions and millions into it, maybe even over a billion dollars.

This is why they do not really need to do this, I understand they may do this if they want to, but they do not have to do this and that's important. I believe that it is going to be quite important to make it work, otherwise if we keep focusing too much on what went wrong and who did that and what we should be looking for etc etc, we will miss what's happening right in front of our eyes.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coin memes don't have a project? Is it worth buying for the long term? on: November 23, 2023, 04:21:10 PM
The trouble is that there are some situations we should be careful about it because it should be something that needs to be a careful thing. I believe that we are not going to end up with something that has to be careful in the end. We need to be careful about it, that has to be something that we need to take care of and if people keep on investing into stuff where they will just lose their money to the creators and devs, then that's not going to benefit crypto world.

I mean what happens is that people create some fake meme stuff on launchpads and investors put up millions, and devs just steal those millions and leave, individually that's bad, but at the same time we are talking about something that doesn't really just hurt them, it hurts us too.
955  Economy / Economics / Re: "I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today" on: November 23, 2023, 05:14:45 AM
The idea of someone using something as expensive as that is not that it's a better product, might be or may not be we do not really know, some of them are and some of them are not. I mean famously Rolex had some terrible watch series as well, which caused a lot of trouble, but they had some of the best ones too, if you got one of the bad series then you should be feeling like you got screwed.

However, what I am talking about here is that the idea is to spend money on things that others can't, so if you get a perfume that is more than someone else's salary, the idea is not to smell nice, the idea is to smell, so that others would ask it, and you can say that it's the expensive one. Like your phone has the time, it's much easier than a watch, or you could get a simple watch, if the aim is to tell time, but if you are getting a 100k watch, then the aim is to tell others "I have money", that's the whole point, and you can only do that with expensive stuff.
956  Economy / Economics / Re: What has really been behind china's economy on: November 23, 2023, 04:42:45 AM
They have used slave labor conditions to build stuff for other nations and make cheap products and get all the manufacturing, once again (not first in their history) ignoring all the damage they are doing to their own citizens and to the world (pollution) and they just cared about their power, which allowed them to have enough money to just fund other nations and get them under their control.

Do you think a nation that has 30%+ of their gdp indebted to China would end up with going against China? They would have two reasons not to, first of all they are getting money from them so why would they stop, secondly if China comes asking for their money back, it would be very hard to say no, it would be dangerous for sure.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins on: November 23, 2023, 04:22:10 AM
^I do believe that bitcoin is the king, I do like it and that's why most of my money is in bitcoin. That doesn't mean I do not like taking risks, I do invest into ETH and BNB and LTC as well, those three are the majority I have in alts, I do not have much other else, some chump change in here and there with some tokens but the total of all of them must be under 100 dollars to be fair, so nothing major.

Most of the money is in bitcoin and the other three coins, that's 99% of my portfolio, and 50%+ of it is in bitcoin so even the other alts are not that much. I realize that bitcoin is the best one and I invest accordingly, but I also take my time to learn what's going on and what I can do about it and how I can get it to improve in the end. There are a lot of people who do not understand how they should approach it, they think that sticking with just bitcoin is good enough, or going with crazy coins would be more profitable, I believe I am the middle ground and more reasonable.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: November 22, 2023, 07:24:03 PM
At one point in my life that was true, I did felt like an addict, to be fair if I was a true addict I wouldn2t be so easily able to stop, but the period itself was risky. People should realize that when it is getting out of hand financially and starting to hurt you, that's when you know that it is doing terrible and you should stop. I was incapable of stopping before anything bad happens, I ruined my finances for nearly 6 months with a terrible loss, and then I stopped, at least I was capable of stopping there, some people continue even after that, but I have never gambled like that ever again.

I do gamble even to this day, but never gamble that way so it doesn't hurt me. Knowing when to stop and to limit yourself and not hurting your finances is the key, there is nothing wrong with gambling at all, you can definitely keep gambling and you can definitely keep doing better, as long as you are doing fine, there is nothing wrong with this at all.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: November 21, 2023, 06:50:50 PM
Goal difference is definitely important, for a "just in case" type of situation, but that doesn't mean that they need to end up with anything that would be specially same points at the end of the season, that is unlikely. I mean how many times have we seen that the championship came down to the points being same? I have watched football for a long time and it is a very  very rare thing to happen, I am sure that there will be points difference between them without a doubt. The best thing they could do regarding this situation right now would be making sure that they are keeping the depth alive.

Because the league is long, and they are in Europe too, and that means depth plays a big role for both teams, with their depth not being that great, both teams lost points as soon as some of their players injured. Galatasaray kept playing injured players due to lack of depth, and fenerbahce didn't and they both lost points during that period, hence why depth is very important for a season.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 19, 2023, 07:45:11 PM
Once again, OKC managed to beat Warriors Klay played a bit better, not a lot, 16 points all together in 36 minutes doesn't look like he took the lead at all but at least this time Wiggins scored 31 points which was good enough to make them go do better, Curry played as well this time, and he played 40 minutes, nearly all game and still scored just 25.

With all these three together they should have won the game but they still lost at overtime, to be fair this doesn't mean Draymond is there for nothing, he sucks as a player individually and I would not pay even the veteran minimum to him if I was any other team, BUT when it comes to Warriors, his leadership is the only reason he is still getting the big bucks to be fair. Look at the team in terrible condition without him, they are just doing whatever they want, nobody is talking and doing anything, they are much more talented than Draymond, but they are not a team without him which causes trouble.
