Trap. A big one.
943  Local / Brasil / Re: Governo Envia formulário de Perguntas intimando Exchanges Brasileiras on: August 28, 2018, 11:15:58 PM

A burocracia é total.

944  Local / Brasil / Re: Governo Envia formulário de Perguntas intimando Exchanges Brasileiras on: August 28, 2018, 09:19:22 PM

945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current BTC price below 8K on: August 27, 2018, 04:24:48 PM
I'm unsure about the current prices. The highs are getting lower at each swing, which means we can hit $2k in December or January. This would mean a bear market spamming three to four years, enough to push even long-term holders to despair.

Also, there's the Bitmain threat. They can dump thousands of bitcoins to cover their expenses, a disaster for insisting in a failed project, which should already be forgotten.
946  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020 Bitcoin Halving Will Push Prices To $60,000 Says Bobby Lee on: August 27, 2018, 04:18:58 PM
This is too small. The halvening should push it to $100k at the minimum. This would allow people to buy lots of things and move the industry, specially in underdeveloped countries. Unfortunatelly, these speculators from Wall Street dont like capitalism, they prefer socialism, where people are poor and, therefore, more servile.

947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 27, 2018, 09:21:21 AM
I claimed a lot of forks, but I was only able to dump BCH and BTG, all the others stayed in a bitpie wallet, theres no way to dump them. Exchanges have them listed, but you cant deposit. I read that most of them have broken codes.

948  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling bottom in September 2018 on: August 26, 2018, 04:24:08 PM
Everytime the price go up, it stalls below the previous rise, then start to fall again. This means theres more selling pressure than buying pressure, and this pressure is trying to break the $6000 wall. We had some ten or more bottons on $6000 this year, but speculators keep trying to break it. The manipulation is very heavy, and thats why TA wont work anymore here.

If this wall is breached, it stays on 5700-6000 range, then it go up again. The big speculators are trying to force a capitulation. Some people might capitulate because they are not on long term (even when they declare themselves as "holders") and keep checking prices everyday, hoping for a reversal. The more they hope, the more they despair. A word of advice, try not to check the price everyday, and dont put all your hard-earned money into crypto.

Did it succeed? No. Stupid.

Not a valid point.

Considering how stupidly he conducted that war, it is. He had Moscow on his grasp. No wonder some of his generals tried to kill him.

951  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC Rejects 9 Bitcoin ETF Applications Whats Next Target of bitcoin? - 23 Aug18 on: August 23, 2018, 05:29:59 PM
I hope that, after these rejections, users stop waiting for a "legitimation" of bitcoin. See where that "legitimation" brought us, after futures markets where announced and investors got burned by Wall Street.

The masses see capitalism as a evil concept, because of these speculators. They gave it a bad name. To "legitimize" bitcoin, I think it will bring us more disgrace than good.

As for the price, I think we will drop to 4000s in September, but it might recover before December. There will be no ATH this year, we might reach 12k in November or December and thats it.

People brought bitcoin for the wrong reasons, waiting for "legitimation", instead of looking for a safe haven against the nation-state. They will sell in the same way.
952  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Bitcoin Chegará a US$ 50 mil / US$ 100 mil em 2018? on: August 20, 2018, 02:06:32 PM

Did anyone pay attention to the transactions?

Is that money going out, or money going in?

955  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bull runs happens, how much BTC dominance will be at peak? on: August 13, 2018, 03:19:39 PM
Probably 90%, specially if bcash lol dies.
956  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 Cryptocurrency Crash (Elliott Wave) on: August 12, 2018, 03:31:10 PM

The triangle is pointing to $4888.

This number was already predicted and it is the equivalent of $188 in the 2013-2015 bear market.

That is the "despair phase" and not your round number of $1000, which is just wishful thinking from your part.

957  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 12, 2018, 03:03:48 PM
This is what worries me (apart of lack of humor or differences in humor perception): redditers are still bullish, very bullish.. too bullish. And not only redditers, but here in BCT too - no despair traces are visible en masse. No despair - no trend reversal, and I wonder how long this market can drop until people finally panic. I understand it is hard to shake out old Bitcoiners, but the new entrants should have already started to capitulate. But nope - even those who think Bitcoin will drop further, are setting 3K target, and expect moon then (in ~2 years). This particularly should mean the 3K bottom is to never happen - as too much people expect it. Bitcoin should either bounce noticeably higher or noticeably lower. Given the absence of despair now, I start to think it could go lower... which is highly undesirable scenario as I see it, as it will punch through weekly MA200 then, and also its will be disaster for miners and many crypto businesses.

But I am not really social media aware guy, and I may easily miss something. So... a question: did anyone see traces of mass panic in social media, enough to call it a mass sentiment..?

P.S. Please don't call me FUDder. Yes, I am not a bull now, and I miss TERA2 here, but I am just expressing my own concern, and will be genuinely interested in what people here think of this.

How many times do we have to repeat that bitcoin is not a ordinary asset? That bitcoin exchanges are not the stock markets? That bitcoin is not a company, and not a product?

Bitcoin is a currency, and it is extremely disruptive, as it is not controlled by any nation-state.

This nocoiner mentality is depressing. You just see bitcoin as a vehicle, a tool, to make more fiat money.

You dont believe that, in the future, you could buy a house with a single bitcoin. And without the need to sell it in the first place.

Thats why people are not panicking, and you dont see massive panic sell. The guys from Wall Street were probably expecting it when they implemented futures markets for bitcoin, to drive the price down.
958  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next week Futures expire on: August 11, 2018, 07:02:28 PM
you say 7-8k? now the price of bitcoin has gone below $ 7k, which is precisely at the price of $ 6500. bitcoin prices dropped because of the many negative news received by bitcoin.

What negative news? I only saw positive ones.

959  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big pop up again on: August 11, 2018, 06:29:26 PM
This is what Wall Street call "price discovery". Its the point where they cant suppress the price any longer.

But the issue remains: will it go up from there? Will this bottom go up? Or will the price keeps swinging over it?

960  Economy / Speculation / Re: it was obvious on: August 11, 2018, 06:17:27 PM
if you asking bottom price it is because manipulators main purpose is take the price as below as possible. He has money and knowledge but market react as reverse force so every loop is try for his movements. Last loop was started from 6800 and ended with 5700 also have seen 10k as a summit.these numbers were below previous loop and it was below from previous. So every loop prices are going down.People is being convinced by manipulators that it is not rising in main trend. Every mid-term loop cerates a big main trend that is slowly going down. So we can expect bottom prices below previous one. I also predicted previous bottom prices top price times and trends very well you can see tham on my previous topics.6k is not a limit, manipulators try to change what you believe is limit, below or above so that they can earn money. Manip has a power it is like a monster each loop it grows more by feeding itself from panic sells and buys. Gaining power from waekness so every loop it can move market stronger, it bring down price collect btc and rises again and brings down again with that collected btcs. If you look at yearly graphic you can see manip is loosing its volatility , it cant earn too much money if price changing too fast and too much, but its powers has limit so market is fighting with that monster and general volatility is decreasing. So i expect this year last half will be more stable. I always say dont feed the monster. But traders are too small lack of knowledge according to him. So generaly we cant change too much. Thats why this year is so similar with 2014.

What do you propose to counter it? I have bought some fractions at 7k, should I sell those same fractions if it reaches 8k, and flow with this manipulation? Or should I hold, expecting that the manipulation will lose and price will go up? Remember that bitcoin is no ordinary asset. Its not a stock, nor PM.
