lol thanks for your optimism but I dont need this thread or this raffle for people to have confidence in me or my ventures

I have too many other things going on that are way more successful smug  Grin

*hack*hack*

Like the worlds #1 Blar blar blars
I think I'm good Smiley the greatest  Cheesy

The worst thing that happened to this raffle was when lame ass bitches those darn kids who have nothing better to do wanted to warn others came in here and starting talking shit the truth

The problem with some people is they have nothing going on positive for themselves so they just go around looking for others who are actually doing something and try and tear them down, they did not hurt me they hurt this raffle - and the funniest thing about that is they did not even buy a ticket, some people need to learn to mind their own business..  Roll Eyes Are you sure that you aren't Bruce Wagner BAC?

but its all good man, I'm going to keep it moving -although its technically a loss for me, Ill still donate the 60 btc to the forum and ship the card to the winner its pocket change really does not mean a thing. So just suck it you peasants  Cool

12 More days of this BS to go! Smiley

Congrats to the 2nd strangers pool  Smiley

For me it would be clearer to show on BitLotto page results as:

1. 1BdTh4FtbkajrFjkv6jbLX8xQ11n1KfXDf
2. 1P44CLoLcnUBgerSk2xoHeGh5SEZJ9Abfg (Pirate Pool)
3. 181GZPYNPKyaoWKeDgrHURU8QWQ4Wg7nP3 (Stranger Pools)

Also to move the Satoshi Dice ad down under the results & not in the middle, confusing, or if you must have it there then change the colour &/or type face or box it in

I'm not at all sure if this is correct, but if it's the second strangers pool that shares the jackpot then I make the addresses for that:

Please don't get your hopes up though as I may well be wrong   Undecided

Are you saying you bought into the pool but made it so you were the only person in the group?

nope, my address is bolded, the rest are other people's, in the first Stranger's pool I had 1 bet & 8 bets to a charity that I set up, there was 1 other person's bet too from those 10

I'm still not sure quite how the pools work & if the addresses that I listed above are the actual winners of the June lotto, each receiving a 10th share of the jackpot per 0.25 BTC bet, in which case someone scooped a nice 4/10 share with a 1 BTC stake  Tongue
2549  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] MORE Pirate Pass Through Bonds! on: June 03, 2012, 12:06:16 AM
I'm not sure if I cancelled a buy order that I had outstanding for 100 shares of PPT-C @ 1.18 or not, if I missed doing that what happens to any orders after the sell back, are they just cancelled & the reserved funds made available in one's account again?
They are suppose to be cancelled and the funds returned. There was a bug where the funds weren't returned to your available amount but still make up part of your total balance. Im not sure if this bug was fixed, check it by hand. Add the funds you have out in buy orders and your current available amount and see if it matches your total balance. If it doesn't you'll need to PM nefario.

Many thanks REF, just what I needed to know, will do tomorrow.  Smiley

Edit:

I have a balance of 551.48 BTC
I have outstanding buy orders of 404.09 BTC
This should leave 147.39 BTC Available
But actual amount available is 26.78 BTC
So missing is 120.61 BTC which is close to the 100 shares @ 1.18 I may have had a buy order on = 118 BTC
If this is correct then it really needs to be fixed ASAP

I'll PM nefario tomorrow, unless it's solved here before & on my account, thanks again REF!

Edit 2: emailed GLBSE support

someone put a bid for 250 PPT.B at 1.3 BTC

^^ do you realize you will lose money with that bid in the end or was that simply a typo?
bonds mature in 4 weeks and bought back by issuer at 1.28 BTC; no one will give you more than that for them

expect that it was someone who read my post on the previous page & is just lulzing around, well hope so anyways

edit: lol you're prob right & it's a typo for 1.03 ouch!  Cry

& sure to be filled too, almost worth staying up for to see if they realize  Wink
2555  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] MORE Pirate Pass Through Bonds! on: June 02, 2012, 12:38:55 AM
Yeah even for us in the UK 3 am is too late to be actively involved

Just putting in my bids and then off to bed
I will bring this up again at our next meeting.

thank you & note that it's not until 2 am CET that we get funds back from the sell backs, like PPT-C just now, in order to have those funds available for the new issue ~ for which many thanks, the 1.28 very nice  Tongue

but I do have other things to do at 2 to 4 am on a Friday night & prefer not to trade too drunk  Undecided
2556  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] MORE Pirate Pass Through Bonds! on: June 01, 2012, 11:23:31 PM
Wow, an offer for 1550 at 1.015 - somebody has a lot of trust in you and pirate, hm? Shocked
may be a shill bid, means nothing until the last few seconds & could be pulled, like the manipulator's walls

edit: or someone else just lulzing around, I could put one in now for 2,000 @ 1.11 or any price - I won't though but owners of say the last issue may have an interest in trying to bump the issue price here of this one

or perhaps it's genuine & some Eurolander who doesn't wish to wait up to 4 AM, like me
2557  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: imsaguy's Enormously Interesting Extended Investment Opportunity on: June 01, 2012, 11:02:06 PM
Updated opportunity and availability.  This isn't a Pirate Passthrough.  See my PPT offering on GLBSE if you're interested in passthrough.

yep, I'd like in on some Plan B please PM me a deposit addie, thanks
2558  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BITLOTTO] June 1 winner is **>460 BTC (>$2,000 USD) ** Next draw is July 6! on: June 01, 2012, 06:22:43 PM
I'm considering a policy change:
"There will be no refunds. No exceptions."

-eliminates any confusion about jackpot size if a refund does occur (just happened, but luckily is was small enough to not really influence people buying)

I wondered what IF someone made a large payment of 200 BTC. Everyone gets excited and buys tickets. The person is then is disappointed with the jackpot size and claims it was a mistake and wants the BTC back. I would be in a tricky spot.

So if I did offer refunds for mistake payments, I'm stuck with what criteria I use. Amount? How old the tx? Etc.

No refunds makes it simple. My only concern is what if someone does make a large payment that is legitimately a mistake? Do I just keep it and tell the person there is nothing I can do, but they should just hope that maybe they will win?

I also don't like refunds because it forces me to open the account. Just time consuming....

What do the BitLotto gamblers think is fair?

The only way I could see a refund being legitimate is if they made a large payment but didn't realize that the payments had to be sent in 0.25 BTC increments. But you fixed that, right? So, really I don't see any reason for refunds. Do other lotteries allow refunds? The answer is no.

+1 No refunds at all, send money & you've bought irrevocable tickets, even if sent too late I wouldn't refund but instead would apply the funds (by resending or something) as entries to the next month's lotto, this way it is clear that no one is spoofing the pot total cost free.

Bitcoin's horoscope for today Friday June 1, 2012

You are allowing yourself to drift a little but only in the best company. It could also be important that you get together with people who can be financially beneficial to you. It's a great time for negotiating since you're being extremely charming. Your helpful suggestions at work are going down well now, except when you tramp on other people's corns as you point out their flaws. Try a little charm, and a few compliments before you wade in to criticise.

@BL see my post #444 it was showing 482 BTC then & later showed 484 so I was certain with half an hour plus to go that 500 would be reached, shame that it was a glitch & slipped back to 460 odd, but still 460 is nada malo  Wink

still enough for 4 BFL Singles @ $5.23 atm  Tongue

I too pledge 3% donation of any winnings for site dev etc...
