As pirate has opened new account applications to be without a referral now in preparation for next month's changes the OP here could be updated:
Q. Can you give me a referral to BST?
A. No, I'm not offering referrals at all. You can PM pirate for an account now without referral, see his threads.
Q. Can you give me a referral to BST if I pay you XXX.YY btc? A. Thanks for the offers, but please see the previous question.
I made a small withdrawal request earlier today, if you're waiting for a deposit to match it against that's np.
Just as an idea, you could always implement 2 options for withdrawals, say an ASAP option that costs a 0.1% fee if it's sent within an hour & a free of charge 'I'm not in a hurry option' that may take up to 24 hours & basically waits for a matching deposit/s to come in to Bitcoin Max.

I just deposited 10 BTC to my account on mybitcointrade.com. "Current account balance" says 10 BTC. I'd like to get the guaranteed 30-day 9% deposit rate. How do I do this? Do I have to buy something under "Shares / IPO`s" or is it enough that the money is sitting in my account?
this is what I do, at the base of the Savings page you will see 'Open a new bankbook' put the quantity of bitcoins you wish to lend in the Investment box & Choose duration carefully to make sure you get it right, then press create & voila! It will show in Your bankbooks (loans) above with repayment date, amount due, rate, etc

if the forum is down, email admin @ payb.tc
I've saved the address - ty, but for those that don't then to have it on the site would be good (which I expect you were about to add in any case)

This is kind of the million dollar question and I really don't have an valid answer at this point. GPUs will become unprofitable and I'll probably wait until then to figure out what to do with them.
I really don't know much about this, but would there be any advantage to switch them to mining an alt VC like litecoin or the alts aren't worth bothering with?

last month I emailed a wealthy entrepreneur that I used to work for with a Bitcoin pitch (not the same person as the one with the foundation from another thread who I haven't pitched to as yet because of the lack of worthwhile practical charity projects), I doubt it but it would be very cool if it was him &/or his cronies behind this price surge, I haven't heard anything back & wouldn't expect to if that was the case but there would be a big appreciation I'm sure for the tip later on down the line if he had run with it, hope that it's in coins

The fact that it is a small sum, under $10 makes it all the more interesting, if ppl also posted how they would convert it to their local fiat & how long this would take & at what cost then that too would be of interest I think.
For me I would either sell it on Intersango & withdraw to my UK bank account, this normally takes a day & hopefully in the future would be much faster (under 2 hours & free) if they can automate it with their bank, as it would be a small withdrawal - under GBP 100 then there's a GBP 0.20 fee which isn't excessive.
Alternatively if I wish to send it in dollars to my US bank account then I would sell it on Mt. Gox & withdraw to my Dwolla account then from there send to my US bank account, I can't remember if there's a fee for this but if so it's probably like $0.25 or something & as I've only used Dwolla for deposits I'm not sure of the time that takes but obviously there are other faster ways to get $ cash at a higher fee/commission rate so it would be interesting to hear ppls alternatives, like P2P exchange etc.
I actually live in mainland Europe & could sell on Intersango or some other Euro-centric exchange then withdraw in Euros via SEPA, which is meant to be fast & either free or cheap though I haven't tried this as yet & haven't looked up the details.

Please to excuse me if someone has already asked about this as I don't wish to wade through the entire thread, (I have now & it doesn't seem to have been brought up as yet), but it has just stuck me that in addition to not using the free Lastpass 2FA or the Yubi key that comes with a pro-account which Lastpass promote heavily & is an obvious must, they also can't have had any 2FA on their Mt. Gox account like the Mt. Gox Yubi key that is needed for both logging on & for withdrawals.
This has got to be deliberate imo to leave such a stash of client's cash just sitting there & then to not use the most basic protections that secure it, looks like a clear case of leaving plausible deny-ability to me - that is if anyone could imagine them being so negligent about the funds they were meant to be looking after in the first place.
Of course with the Yubi keys it would need a staged physical break in to pull off - far too risky, police have to be informed etc, so playing the incompetence card instead imo, Oh we put it all in this Online wallet & didn't bother to secure it or the access to it just like last time & the time before, even Inspector Clueless might just have spotted a pattern here.

0.0624 BTC to 1G5apmPvo2iTtmkNWAHTCET7Y842Ufijs8 received, almost $0.50 - I wonder why you bothered as Bitcoinica stole 1,000 BTC from me when illegally changing the TOS under which I'd deposited & opened positions when you introduced the swaps, I said at the time that I was amazed to have even be able to get any of my money back out from what was obviously a crooked operation.
I prefer to trust people more than most & pay a tax for that trust that I accept is it's price, but I also get to often see the karma that ppl who have ripped me off bring upon themselves, Bitcoinica is a classic example, but it also works personally on those who are responsible - who made the decisions & implemented them, it never goes away - it just gets worse until a just restitution is made.
So every time that you look at or think about the 1,000 BTC Casasius coin that you bought, just remember that there is someone who lost that exact same amount of money through your deliberate dishonest & greedy actions, that is now your reputation at the start of your career which will follow you always.
Otoh
I didn't write the TOS. I was instructed to do so. I didn't get a cent of your swap money. I understand your desperation, but this is not the place to ask for help. You legally deserve the money Bitcoinica owes you. But I definitely didn't do anything dishonest or greedy. I deposited money with you & opened positions with Bitcoinica when you were the sole owner & CEO, I trusted you personally, you subsequently sold the business in secret while for months after untruthfully still claiming to be the founder & CEO of Bitcoinica - I still trusted your word, now you claim that you were merely following orders when you introduced the swaps which trapped me in a position that was being bleed dry because of this - I had no choice but to close out my now untenable positions for a loss of 1,000 BTC & I hold both you & the secret owners behind the scenes both morally & legally responsible for my loss. I am neither desperate nor asking for help, I am just pointing out that every action has a consequence.

Ty for feedback Otoh, we will se what we can do to make it better.
Problem here in the En Forum is ppl dont trust my Site its hard.

np, yw, yep I'm sure it's hard to break in to, but any hot wallet site needs 2FA imo &/or irrevocable withdrawal addresses.

Does Otoh have it yet? I'm sure if he ran off with the coins hashking could just return some of the coins Otoh has on deposit to the OP
But, but - that'd be stealing & breach of contract by HK. I'd have 6 hours to withdraw them from HK first anyway if I was going to do a runner & a smoke screen like that would be ideal to encourage trust, just sayin' & nope I haven't got it yet Edit: Oh shit, no I couldn't they're locked in for 8 weeks, unless I could persuade him that I made a mistake & he agreed to cancel the contract & refund.
