What makes your project different than ether sport and things like that? How do you plan on making yourself more relevant in the space than the others?
No answer to this yet... notice that the board has been very inactive, doesnt make the project look good LOL - if you look at the post above - you cannot get much worse than a scam ICO where the team is proven to be fake. It might provide hints as to the reason for the inactivity.

A lot of people prefer to be kissed by a lie than slapped with the truth. When scammers make things up it is easy to create a fairytale massage with "a happy ending" on Moon pump boulevard in Lambo land. Where shills sing hype in soprano Angelic harmony and the evil fudsters are deleted by the copper member that started the self moderated thread.Real projects are hard work and may or may not succeed. You may lose all your crypto and if the organizers make unrealistic promises they can be sued for that. Scammers don't worry about hard work or being sued. They use fake identities and will take your crypto and run. ...and if it is too good to be true then it is probably a HYIP or ponzi....

Are both parties happy that the program is not going to be completed ? If there was a deal for a completed program then not delivering such program is breach of contract.
Simply refunding the amount provided as a deposit does not negate the breach of contract - unless both parties agree that it will terminate the obligations under the contract.
The buyer has completed their obligations under the contract - provided a deposit as agreed.
The seller has not completed their obligations under the contract - even though performance (payment) from the buyer was received.
I'm assuming that a time-frame for completion was agreed on (or at least discussed) as well.

When posting in threads where there are lots of spammers and scammers you have to be extra careful There are people who patrol those threads and report multitudes of posts. If your post looks similar to a JAS (Just Another Shitpost) then it can get accidentally deleted. There are also people that are part of the scam and spam team that will misuse the report functions to report on people that they want to silence - moderators delete thousands of posts daily so may not pick up it. Scammers and spammers often have senior accounts that they haven't used for their scam or spam. There are also situations where links included in anti scam posts can accidentally violate the rules. So in order to prevent those scenarios make sure you familiarize yourself with the rules closely and make posts that clearly don't violate the rules. In the past I had some well intentioned anti scam posts removed but have modified my posting behavior to prevent that from happening. I don't use unnecessary or annoyingly large font or color. (Keep it moderate). I often use large images to increase the visibility of anti scam posts.
I don't repeat the same message anywhere else - I modify the message substantially so it is not considered a repetitive post.- Try to make it interesting, informative, amusing and entertaining at the same time Below are the rules that are particularly relevant: Red is my added comment.
1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads.
2. No off-topic posts. (Very important rule to follow) - scammer love reporting scambusters for this
3. No trolling. (Don't let them bait you)
4. No referral code (ref link) spam. (Make sure to remove referral codes from examples you post - or post is as code)
5. No link shortners that requires users to view an ad.
6. No linking to phishing or malware, without a warning and a valid reason.
8. No threats to inflict bodily harm, death threats.
9. Discussions in the main boards must be in english. All other language discussions should be posted in the appropriate Local board.
11. No linking to illegal trading sites.
12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting it in the local language boards if it's translated). (Very important rule to follow) - scammer love reporting scambusters for this
22. Advertising (this includes mining pools, gambling services, exchanges, shops, etc.) in others threads' is no longer allowed, including, but not limited to, in altcoin announcement threads.
23. When deciding if a user has broken the rules, the staff have the right to follow their interpretation of the rules. Try to analyse your own posting behavior before asking the moderator.
24. Advertisements (including signatures within the post area) in posts aren't allowed unless the post is in a thread you started and is really substantial and useful. Anti scam links can get mistaken for advertising - make sure the message is clear.
26. Local thread rules, if stated properly when the thread was started, specific enough and don't conflict with the forum rules, have to be followed. (Some threads have specific additional rules)
27. Using automated translation tools to post translated content in Local boards is not allowed.(Try to avoid that in the English forum too - google mistranslate makes messages look like spam)
32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed. (Sometimes in a spam thread posts get deleted that can place your remaining posts in a consecutive order)
33. Posting plagiarized content is not allowed. (Make sure you quote (with reference) or provide a source reference if you are quoting something that someone else said)

Copper membership provides newbies with the ability to bypass some of the new member restrictions and post images.EDIT: This recent quote from Theymos makes some of the statistics quoted in this article incorrect. The member search page only returns a maximum number of results. Currently there are 3145 copper members. Maybe I'll compile stats over time later. For now, you could search the Bitcoin block chain for transactions of the copper-member amount.
-END EDIT- If you register with a IP that has units of Evil any payment towards unblocking the IP go towards a Copper membership. Below the following quotes by Theymos explaining Copper membership and Units of Evil is a lits of all the current Copper members. Currently a single unit of evil costs about 300 Satoshis.[/b][/size] The notice you see if you sign up and are proxy banned: Information about obtaining copper membership: How to get copper membership: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promoteBy popular demand, newbies can now pay to have some of their restrictions lifted. If you pay the fee, you become a Copper Member, and you can post images. That's the main point of this: allowing newbies to post images. Additionally (and these might change depending on how things go), Copper Members currently have these bonuses: - Some of the same permissions as Member-rank members, such as reduced signature styling restrictions. (But none of the PM-related restrictions are currently lifted, such as the style limit or per-hour PM limit.) - Your "you must wait ____ seconds between ___" counter is reduced by 75%. So if you're naturally of Newbie rank, you only have to wait 360-75% = 90 seconds. If you paid an "evil IP" registration fee, then whatever you paid (in BTC terms) is subtracted from the upgrade fee. If you paid a registration fee a long time ago, you might even get a free Copper Membership due to the increase in BTC price. Just visit the link at the bottom of this post to check whether you have it already. I am aware that for most people the benefits of this membership are pretty lame. This membership is only intended to fill a specific niche; if you don't need it, don't buy it. It is not intended to be the lower-cost Donator/VIP alternative which I've talked about before as a possibility. I wrote the system so that I can easily add additional paid memberships in the future, but I might not ever do so. Not sure. You can buy it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote The ban map:The IP location map:When someone is banned, their IP and some of their neighboring IPs receive evil points. The thought occurred to me recently that you could create a map of the Internet according to evil points, and I couldn't resist doing this right away. The result is pretty cool-looking IMO. It also seems to show that the evil score system is working as expected: the vast majority of the Internet is not being forced to pay, and in the isolated sections where a registration fee is required, prohibitively-large fees are very rare. Here's the image (zoom in): https://bitcointalk.org/banmap201510.pngEach pixel is a /24 address block (ie. each pixel represents 256 IP addresses). The colors are: █ Zero or nearly zero evil █ A small amount of evil █ More █ More █ At this point you actually have to pay if you register an account in this block █ More █ More █ More █ Pretty high █ A ton of evil, more than anyone is likely to pay This is per block, so a single IP address could have an evil score requiring payment while its block still shows up as black here. A colored pixel indicates the evil score of a typical IP in that block. Addresses are laid out in the standard way. So you can for example cross-reference with these maps: https://ant.isi.edu/address/A /24 should almost never uniquely identify someone, but to be safe I randomly added, removed, and modified some of this data for plausible deniability. When you register, the IP that you used when you submitted the registration form is used to calculate your evilness. The more frequently this IP or its neighbors were banned, the more evil is associated with your account. The amount of evil associated with an IP decays slowly over time, but the amount of evil associated with an account does not. You must pay or be manually whitelisted to enable posting on one of these "banned" accounts. Here are some stats: Evil | % new users | 0 | 53 | 0-1 | 35 | 1-10 | 4.4 | 10-20 | 0.80 | 20-50 | 2.2 | 50-100 | 1.3 | 100+ | 2.9 |
Currently each unit of evil requires a payment of 4023 satoshi. You only need to pay something if you have 1 or more, though. Comments, corrections and additions welcomed.

Good evening, I am moving all my bitcoins to buy every last one of these coins. This is the next big thing guys, this is the btc 2.0 you were waiting for. You missed btc, you missed eth, you even missed eos...So, don't repeat your mistakes anymore with this great coin!
Thats my favorit ! WTF loooooooooooool Well, it's your lucky day because there are other brilliant posts like that. Thanks - I looked up those and ones that used similar phrasing that did not show up on the google search. All on their way to ban heaven. Rest in peace. Even the earliest post using that phrasing had earlier haiku style posts that earns them a spot in the naughty corner.

Am sure many of the big guys here wouldn't have gotten to where they are now if the merit system was in place when they were newbies.
You are not right. And it's easy to prove. Look at the number of merits of the higher ranks participants. You`ll see that usually it is huge. And this isn`t because they are Sr. Members or Heroes. This is because they earned these merits. When the merit system was just launched, we were all essentially on equal terms. Yes, each rank had its own number of merits "by default". But then each of us could either earn, or not earn merits. I met on the forum Members, who had 83 merits (the original 10 + 73 earned) and Sr. Members with 253 merits (the original 250 + 3 earned). It isn`t difficult to see who is working better. However, such situations are exceptions rather than rules. Most often, we can see Members with 11 merits and Sr. Member with 323 merits. This means that the "big guys" aren`t just lucky to grow in rank before the introduction of the merit system - they really deserve it. I tend to agree with nattykio - many of the "big guys" (legendary accounts) wouldn't be there - and some shouldn't be there. But that is also why they changed the system - to improve that. The legends here that did get merit since it was introduced (even if it is just 10 merits) are the ones that I respect and deserve to wear the rank. Not having merits also doesn't mean that they are a shitposter - it just means that their posts are not merit worthy and maybe they should improve their posting habits. Merits don't discriminate by rank or nationality -just post quality. Proof that some of the highest merited members are not senior members. Name: theyoungmillionaire Merit: 552 Date Registered: October 01, 2017Name: DdmrDdmr Merit: 796 Date Registered: January 04, 2018The thing that make these people stand out is hard work.

It is easier to have misunderstandings and categorize people without seeing body language and facial expression. Apart from the hard-out scammers and spammers there are probably not a lot of people I would't have a coffee with. Even some that I haven't particularly got on with on here. Sometimes meeting in person changes that perspective while other times it confirms it.
I don't feel particularly saddened by not meeting most of the people on here since I probably would never have met them in real life. Geographical distance would have ensured that we would be unlikely to meet anywhere other than online or by some miraculous random occurrence whilst travelling. So I see it as an opportunity to meet people that have at least one interest in common - Crypto. People who I would otherwise never have met.

I reported it to moderator as a death threat and it got marked as "bad" so apparently the mod disagrees.
To be honest, the translation in the OP doesn't look like an obvious threat and hardly make sense (google translate didn't help much), especially the "life sentence" part. Is FinTechEU allegedly saying that he will put OP in prison for life or impose a death penalty on him somehow? It's not even clear who is that post addressed to. There are 2 names mentioned but I don't understand the context. ...
I PM'd Xal0lex and asked him to have a look at it. A Russian moderator will understand it the best.
Wasn't it a Russian mod who marked suchmoon's report as "bad"? I'd expect local board reports to be going through local mods. Some things in Russian don't translate well and can appear innocent or have a different interpretation. Not all of the local board reports are dealt with by the local moderators - global moderators deal with those as well.- often they also only have a limited amount of time to consider the report.Neither of the Russians I spoke to have to my knowledge been posting in the Worldcore thread so their opinions would not be tainted by anything other than the post and the link. I reported it to moderator as a death thread and it got marked as "bad" so apparently the mod disagrees.
I PM'd Xal0lex and asked him to have a look at it. A Russian moderator will understand it the best. There is no direct threat. The threat is directed towards the initiators of the information war. If Marina Uni considers herself the initiator of the information war, the threat is directed to her side. Wasn't it a Russian mod who marked suchmoon's report as "bad"? I'd expect local board reports to be going through local mods.
You forget that there are two moderators in the Russian section. Thank you for the clarification.

Does anyone know whatever happened to Michael Brown ? Surely with so much history in the crypto community he must be out there somewhere. He would be one of the interesting characters to talk to. EDIT: WOW 4 years (48 Months) so won't be released till 2020

How do you think, such conferences will be made in the future? And whether the concrete positive positive effect for development of the project will give it?
I don't understand your question. I think a lot of the success of an ICO depends on whether they can deliver on their promises. No unrealistic promises were made and action is better than words. From a investment perspective I have no idea how this project will do. The main thing I was concerned about is whether the project was real. I am satisfied that it is a real project with real people. ROI always has a much better prospect when the investment is in a real product / business. With an unregulated new investment the outcome is primarily dependent on the caliber of people that run the business. Market predictions - until they happen - are speculation.

BQT is another crypto exchange platform.so what are the things that differ you from other platform.& as market is down how will you mange to give the investors extra offer?
Personally I don't know whether an exchange would have to be so uniquely different from others in the market. I think differences will be subtle and perhaps not so hugely different from others. It is a massive growing market and I think new entrants need to have some decent capital funding to enter the market with some success. Existing exchanges have the advantage of having been able to build on their existing code as they earned. There will be room for new companies. For comparison - How uniquely different are forex companies ? I think their success usually is based on confidence, trust, accessibility, marketing and reliability of giving the same day to day services. Binance started out with an ICO and grew very quickly into a market leader. I don't think anyone expected quite such a rapid growth. But as the crypto world evolves - Exchanges need to: Be secure Have good code Easy to use platform Ability to operate BOTs & auto trades Fast trade engine Have good hot wallet and cold wallet practices. Have good governance Have a good legal structure Be located in a good jurisdiction suitable for crypto. Be located in a country with a good legal system that can handle legal disputes Be located in a country where authorities provide some oversight to protect investors (without killing the innovation). As they say: "the proof will be in the pudding". Edward Mandel (Eddie) is providing me with lots of updates and photos since I posted questions about this ICO - which has been very productive in establishing that it is an ICO being held by real business people with a proven track record.

I would also move this to reputation, and report the post to a moderator explaining your stance.
No.
PM theymos directly, that should get them permanently banned. I agree with Lauda. Because my Russian is limited I asked two Russians that I trust what their thoughts were. Russian trolling and innuendo is hard to understand for anyone that is not a native speaker. It might not sound that serious when translated but this is a serious and credible threat.

-snip-
Haha, you've really done your research. Yes - I did do background research and also Eddie now gives me regular updates - including videos of the conference and photos. He followed the best possible action when there were questions about the team and the ICO. He gave as much verifiable info as possible. Patiently addressed all the concerns in detail and then turned it into a marketing opportunity. Got to give the guy credit for that.
