This is exactly the type of dialogue that is helpful. I think a large number of issues are due to each side not trusting each other.

Worldcore has made mistakes but some of the accusations are also incorrect.

Lets work through the issues rationally. You are welcome to correct me on any of the posts that I have made. You will notice that I edit posts if I believe the information that I have posted is incorrect.

I also believe it's essentially important to state a few words about the criminal case that was initiated against worldcore.

the criminal case of fraud on the part of the company, opened by the national police of ukraine, turned out to be incompetent falsification: a certain anton gevko, a refugee from horlivka, wrote a statement  (point 11 with my translation further) that on 12.03.2018 an unidentified person under the pretext of attracting investment to the international company worldcore by fraud took possession of his money in the amount of 5,000 US dollars, after which they disposed of at their own discretion, without fulfilling their obligations - and nothing would have happened, except that this “investment attraction” had happened right next to the kyiv goloseevskaya metro station rather than on the internet through the acquisition of a wrc token as part of ico, as one could expect!

yes! - apparently, according to those who fabricated the legend for this fake, worldcore attracts investments in this way. As for gevko himself, he has already admitted* (the text was taken from anton's odnokalssiniki.ru social network profile) the fact of giving false testimony at the request of anna chervinskaya (alexander prochukhan’s sister). he most likely repeatedly regretted going to cooperate with the gangsters who simply took advantage of the disastrous financial situation of this immigrant from donbass.

* - translation:

"I want to declare that I have slandered a person. anna chervinskaya approached me through a friend and promised a large sum of money for help. I had to write a statement, as if a man from russia (alex nasonov, ceo worldcore - my note) seemed to have stolen 5,000 US dollars from me. they said that he was a bad man. and I fit into a dubious topic - gave false testimony for the money to this person. a criminal case was opened against him. I really needed the money. now I am taking consequences. I was framed, paid and forced to slander a person. it turned out that alexander prochukhan, the creator of the financial pyramid questra world, needed to be swept away from his tracks. and now he is on the run and it turns out that I am with him now like his criminal partner. anna is his sister. now I am threatened. if I tell you more, I will not see my family"

Are there any verifiable news sources or court documents for that ? I some countries court documents are accessible online.

Anyone can type up a statement and post it on the internet. I am trying to establish facts on verifiable evidence.

Serious allegations require serious proof.

1063  Other / Meta / Re: Censorship in off-topic on: October 17, 2018, 06:33:51 AM
I'm having posts about the horizon rising to eye level in my Flat Earth thread censored by mods.

Is censorship of scientific information in line with the values heald by BCT?

Bitcointalk doesn't censor scams. That is dealt with the Default Trust system.

So if something is getting deleted it is because it breaks the rules. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0

1064  Other / Meta / Re: Obvious fake bumping, but there's no proof. What to do? on: October 17, 2018, 04:55:06 AM
You can report it for "low quality posts" and they will get deleted.

I deal with it in four ways:

Report the individual posts for low quality posts.
Check the worst users and see what other campaigns they shit-post for.
Check for plagiarism (gets permaban)
Hassle the campaign with LARGE posts listing some of the shills and their posts with IMAGES and MEMEs

DBX offers another good idea that can be easily implemented in the digital industry. Hope there will be no serious obstacles to this idea and its implementation.
I think that you are not right. The team is very responsible and hardworking. All the information about the project and its implementation is updated in time
Feels fantastic, this is really important tendency, do not be so pessimistic towards the project. It is hold by an experienced team.  I am confident that we can rely on these guys
The exchange is modified by a large number of projects, on the one hand it is really good, but on the other every project will have its own token in the ecosystem. What will happen to the cryptomarket.

It seems that it will be a big project with team policy, I think this is a new breakthrough that can later develop and will be a step in the crypto market.
This project is not only about removing of intermediaries, but also customer protection. This is more important for the use of cryptocurrencies for today.
Waiting for implementation. I am constant user on such platforms . Hope, that this project will affect and somehow change the existing market in general.
Blockchain is key to the next generation of marketplace and online shops. The team of developers see how our market conditions are going to change. Respect
There is no doubt that it is a really good idea and this project will have a successful fund-raising campaign. Wish everything good to developers. P.S. The design of your web-site is nasty. I have spent more than an hour watching this animation

A shill is someone who pretends to be a customer.

In my opinion it is CONSUMER FRAUD

Do you think it is ethical to fool your potential investors ?

3. Worldcore doesn't fulfill the Roadmap.

I have already advised you to read official sources and stay tuned to the latest updates. you don't do it on purpose. so, I will do it for you:

1) trading steps:
cryptocurrency exchange https://worldcore.trade launched and updated:
* new trading pairs (btc, eth, ripple, monero, usdt (with the lowest fees).
* interface with listing of new tokens
* 2FA
* advanced trading charts
2) legal steps:
* PCI DSS Level 1 certificate renewed. audit was successfully passed!
* gdpr compliance requirements fullfiled
3) financial steps:
* SWIFT code obtained: EPSOCZP1
* approval for issuance visa plastic and virtual debit cards received

still not fulfilling roadmap? really?

veleor, I'm not sure if you are able to read! you can find the answers in the previous post of mine.
● Membership in [...]SWIFT
SWIFT code was obtained recently. it's: EPSOCZP1 (it's verifiable on swift.com) - completed
● Membership in [...]SEPA
integration of SEPA instant credit transfers - real-time bank transfers in euros between sepa countries - completed
● Membership in [...]VISA
as I already mentioned: approval for issuance visa plastic and virtual debit cards was received. further setup is in progress now

sure, these steps take a lot of time, but the roadmap is fulfilling. the work is being constantly done

Perhaps Marina Uni or someone familiar with the accusation can make a list of concerns and accusations and you can then answer them one by one with easily verifiable proof that the accusation is mistaken, partly incorrect or false.
There are lot of accusations against Worldcore but these three are indisputable facts:
1. Worldcore is linked to the scam Benson Union.
2. CEO Alexey Nasonov faked the Diploma of Higher Education.
3. Worldcore doesn't fulfill the Roadmap.

1. I'd like to see more evidence before coming to the conclusion that it is related to Benson Union. It is not clear what link (if any) it has. I'd also be keen to see what worldcore has to say about that.
2. Correct. They made up their own qualifications.
3.I think it is too early to complain about the roadmap. Plans sometimes take longer than intended.
1066  Other / Meta / Re: New form of shit-posting on: October 16, 2018, 06:35:37 PM
You'll notice that they have just added attribution and a small insignificant comment on the end in attempt to make it "comply" to the rules.
I have mixed feelings about this one, mainly because I don't watch the news and don't even look at news sites on the web--not even crypto news.  Most of the news I get about crypto comes from bitcointalk and so I find these snippets useful sometimes.  Hydrogen often makes threads that begin with a quote from an article, but he usually makes pretty substantial comments after the quote.  I've given him merits numerous times for his posts.

But yeah, HappyWhiteHuman does seem to be doing it for a purpose other than sparking discussion--but there's obviously no proof of what his intention is.  I don't think this should be disallowed in general, but in his case it borders on spamming.  The two examples in the OP were only minutes apart, and if he's not adding his own commentary to the news quote then the thread is fairly worthless on its own.

Shouldn't threads like these be in the press section and not Economics?

I can agree that some users use this method to make post on a regular basis and some of them are high ranked members who participate in sig campaigns like ChipMixer. Just one example : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=68364;sa=showPosts
Ah, that would be Hydrogen.  As I said, he tends to do more than just quote news articles even though most if not all of the threads he starts do include news quotes.  If you look at what he writes after whatever it is he quotes, it's usually pretty good.  I think in his case his intention really is to stimulate discussion.

I agree with you that when it is used as intended posting a News story can be a brilliant topic starter. It is also great for referencing history. Some of the important events have been memorialized by the news post and discussion about it on here.

It is quite clear that this is not the motivation with some of the posts due to posting habits.  Posting low quality news stories, posting them 5 minutes apart, not having replies to any of the news stories (others didn't find them interesting) and the poster expressing concern that his "relatives who they taught to post in a similar style" might be mistaken for an alt.

There should be a reasonable amount of effort exerted by the person posting the news story. It is also important to consider the balance between "fair use" and "copyright infringement".

@OP
If it falls under copy paste, they deserve a clear ban. But tagging by DT will not stop those, IMO.

Tagging them will remove the motivation. Tagged accounts are worth less to sell and reduce value for signature spammers.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: After Budget Cuts, the IRS’ Work Against Tax Cheats Is Facing “Collapse” on: October 16, 2018, 01:18:09 PM

Audit rates do not equal audit revenue.

An audit costs money to conduct, are incredibly invasive to the taxpayer and do not necessarily result in finding any wrongdoing.

They are also costly in time and $ to the taxpayer getting audited.

There is also the risk that the IRS will keep looking until it finds something to "justify" the cost of the audit.

There is also the perception that certain industries more "corrupt". This is a self fulfilling prophesy because that industry will be targeted more.

I conceive that could be viable, mainly in a burly rubberneck loci in organization to construct the pay business in carry easy and fast.

Doubters will question the origin of these posts and blame it on a glitchy spinbot but for the rest of us...this is an eye-opening experience.

This was at turns hilarious and terrifying so I had to check out rucapri0's post history and found a lot of posts in Russian. I was very curious to see if the Russian was gibberish, too, but Google seems able to make sense of it:

Which I would classify as more of a generic shitpost, rather than the epic "burly rubberneck loci" of his English ramblings.

The purpose is clear. To farm for merit and meet bounty signature posting requirements with minimal effort using copy and pasted content.

The Russian forum has a far more extensive explanation:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=994018.0
Quote
8. Plagiarism is prohibited, including in the form of copying, or paraphrasing other people's messages or texts from the Internet. If you post copy-paste, be sure to include a link to the source. Publishing news about bitcoin only - in the "News" section; about "alternative cryptocurrencies" - in the appropriate section, in the relevant topics; In other cases, if you copy text from the Internet, in addition to a link to the source, you should share your constructive opinion about it, so if you have nothing to say, then there is no need to publish other people's texts.

1070  Other / Meta / New form of shit-posting on: October 16, 2018, 09:22:46 AM
It appears that when-ever there is a rule someone tries to find a loophole so they can continue to put in minimal effort to farm accounts or meet signature quotas.

Example 1
Example 2

Effectively copy and pasting with an attribution. Then a minimal comment to make the appearance of "discussion".

The purpose is not to start discussion. It is a case of merit and account farming.

The type of CCN.com articles posted to Bitcointalk have little benefit to the form.  As if bitcoin users cannot read cnn themselves.

I doubt that the constant repeated copy and pasting falls within the category of "fair use" when it comes to copyright  - even with attribution to the original article.

I can see this becoming the next level of problem if it is not halted. - Unless others don't see this as a problem.

Perhaps tagging them with negative trust or clarification of whether it constitutes a "low quality post" or "copy and pasting" would be a solution.

NOTE: This is meant to serve as a reference/educational/informational thread, NOT a rock solid list of rules.

1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads.

23. When deciding if a user has broken the rules, the staff have the right to follow their interpretation of the rules.
This rule is meant to prevent from users exploiting possible loopholes in the rules or some interpretations that follow the literal meaning of the rule rather than the meaning of what it truly wanted to prevent.

33. Posting plagiarized content is not allowed
This includes both copying parts or the entirety of other users' posts or threads and copying content from external sources (e.g. other websites) and passing it as your own.

Is it not obvious that he is using a FoxSof account only for discussing the ban in Meta, and not for forum messages? This is obvious even to any newbie. You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes or Pinkerton to see it.

And you do not need to be a genius to understand that when I started using a computer, I did not leave his account. And when I saw, I immediately relogin.

And if someone is excited by reasoning about dogs and cats, then this is on another forum. In this topic, we are discussing an erroneous ban !! And so far, no Pinkerton has proven the opposite! Hahaha

Lovers of cats and dogs, HappyWhiteHuman banned by mistake.

You have 34 of the latest news in the last 40 of your posts. Other users have already been banned for it many times including in the English forum. So I would not be surprised if you got banned. On the first page of this topic, it’s not just stated that, in addition to copy-paste, you should not only enclose a link to the source but also your constructive opinion because otherwise you don’t create a topic for discussion but just as "work" for signatures campaigns.

Oh my god that is getting better!
And is better than watching TV!
What's next ? The cat has gone over the keyboard and has inadvertently ,
logged in with an account from your family and you did not notice it or the cat deleted it!

Don't give him any ideas. Soon he will run out of "relatives" to enrol and have to resort to rodents, insects and inanimate objects.

Lovers of cats and dogs, HappyWhiteHuman banned by mistake.

The only thing I haven't figured out is why the moderator hasn't banned all the other alt accounts.

1)Partly proven:  ☑  I view this as evidence to support suspicion rather than evidence of proof.
2) Proven:
3) Still to be investigated.
4. Likely exaggeration ☑   I view it as exaggerated sales hyperbole.
5. Not proven. ☒

(6) lied about an audit. Partly proven:  ☑

Two more accusations.

7. Instead of the Czech office of Worldcore the scenery with the actors were shown in the promotion video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1c5fcZFQQY&t=2m51s

Worldcore employees (Link)

8. Different data on the Worldcore website and on the Bitcointalk forum about the team.

A Worldcore manager 'FintechEU' admitted that almost all of the company's staff are freelancers.

Пo кoличecтвy coтpyдникoв пoяcню - бoльшинcтвo coтpyдникoв, a имeннo вce paзpaбoтчики и пoчти вcя кoмплaeнc-кoмaндa, из PФ, paбoтaют нe пo дoгoвopy тpyдoycтpoйcтвa, a пo фpилaнc-дoгoвopy c Индивидyaльным Пpeдпpинимaтeлeм.
Translation: "By the number of employees I will explain - most of the employees or namely all developers and almost all compliance team, from Russia, are working not under an employment contract, but under a freelance contract with Individual Entrepreneur".

Moreover, White Paper stated the opposite: "More than 40 persons are working in all 5 departments of Worldcore and some people working as freelancers".

So far my concerns are:

BOTs / Shills posting on the forum ☑

Veiled death threat ☑

1  Partly proven:  ☑  I view this as evidence to support suspicion rather than evidence of proof.
2. Proven: Lied about CEO qualifications.
3. Too soon to be investigated. Delays to road-map at this early stage are acceptable. Too soon to investigate.
4. Likely exaggeration ☑   I view it as exaggerated sales hyperbole.
5. Not proven. ☒   Accusation of fake valuation is not proven.
6. lied about an audit. Partly proven:   ☑  I am of the opinion that the audit claim was a misworded mistake rather than deliberate.
7. Not relevant ☒    Use of actors in promotional videos is quite normal.
8. Not relevant ☒    Use of freelancers / contractors and referring to them as employees is normal

Promotional videos and advertisements use actors. It is normal.
Maybe they counted the actors as employees too.  Roll Eyes

Use of contractors and freelancers is quite normal in Crypto and technology based businesses. The use of "Individual Entrepreneur" status has tax advantages in Russia and therefore is quite normal to expect.

Contractors often still are eligible for employee discounts", "employee benefits" and subject to "employee rules". The contractual relationship different between an employee and contractor but for the client it has not much difference. For certain skills it is easier to employ a contractor than to hire an employee.
It is not unusual for a company to count contractors as part of their employees.

Like Suchmoon I am concerned mainly about (1). If there are ties to Benson Union or other scams then there is a serious problem.

Quote
According the E&Y report the information about $30 million valuation was somewhat exaggerated.

Based on our scope, the information and assumptions provided by the Client, our analyses and limitations contained in this Presentation, we have estimated the indicative value of the Company in the range of:
(i) CZK 419 – 579 mil. (EUR* 16 – 22 mil.), assuming lower case
(ii) CZK 469 – 685 mil. (EUR* 18 – 26 mil.), assuming upper case

US$ was worth more when that was said:

At one stage this year the upper value would have been US$32M
I would consider it "sales hyperbole".

If you are selling a house you would not likely say "the valuer valued it at $500K" if the range was $500K to $700K.  You would hope to market it at the higher price range.

It also didn't specifically say US$

Does it really worth 25,56 million USD collected on ICO?

I do not look at whether it is value for money or a "good investment". I look at whether the owners are transparent and honest to determine if it is a scam.
Whether the owners are going to run off with the money.

Some of the things said appear to be dishonest. That worries me.

If you find another plagiarism,  just report one of them or reply it to the thread mentioned by coolcryptovator instead of make a new thread.

Actually I find this a quite interesting thread. It is not just another plagiarized post - it is a plagiarized thread. It is an alt-farmer that messed up and posted two identical topics while at the same time complaining with several different accounts in multiple places about getting banned.

Had it been posted in another thread it probably would not have been discovered.

1078  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: WORLDCORE - A SCAM! on: October 14, 2018, 03:32:27 PM
The website that stated it is also not registered to Worldcore and there is nothing to prove that it belongs to them. It could be some incompetent bounty manager that wrote that.

I edited my post several times. I missed taking out that sentence after I found proof the site was at least endorsed by them. You will find that further in my analysis I included a screenshot that indicates that the site belongs to worldcore.

There is a strong indication that they did not understand what they were saying was wrong. Anyone reading the actual E&Y report that the article linked to would have discovered that it was not an audit but a valuation.
Do you consider a possibility that Worldcore intentionally mixed up the words "audit" and "evaluation" relying on lazy people who do not read documents and those who do not understand English?

I think I covered it by the following:

It appears that they claimed that they were audited but if your read what they are describing and substitute it with "valuation" it suddenly makes much more sense.

The figures obtained during the audit are the result of the audit, in which the company’s assets were summed up, the available resources and possible future prospects were estimated. A detailed report on the audit can download anyone on the site Worldcore on the link.

Also if you look at the context of what they are saying:

", in which the company’s assets were summed up, the available resources and possible future prospects were estimated." does not describe an audit. It describes a valuation.

Even the initial allegation made the same mistake of confusing audit with valuation.

5. Worldcore lies that Ernst&Young has valued the company at $30 million. (Article in English: http://archive.li/sDNrI#selection-617.81-617.245). But in fact, Worldcore wasn't audited.

I am of the opinion that it was a mistake rather than deliberate.

Also I don't think anyone ought to have been deceived by it because the context of what was being said describes a valuation. Also if people are too lazy to look for a source document that they are relying on then they should not be investing money.

What they should have stated is:

Quote
The figures that were provided to Ernst & Young during the review resulted in a detailed valuation. The company’s goodwill, assets and liabilities were calculated. Also the available resources from alliances and possible future prospects were estimated. A detailed report on the company valuation can be downloaded by anyone on the Worldcore.eu website using the link.

By having a poor translation they both set themselves up for accusations but also look unprofessional.

Fixed.  Smiley

Now shows only those members that have enough merit to rank up, based on how unlucky they are in the activity field.  a=1 only shows active members - remove it for all.

(There are a lot of inactive members)

Yep - working well.

We have a new "winner" since the last one has become a legend.
