Suchmoon suggested another approach though If you are reffering to this: Then send the remaining 0.027 and stop clowning around. I don't think suchmoon believes that's actually gonna happen, and I get the feeling she was being facetious. If you haven't sent ArmandoComellas' funds back to him yet I think it's about time you do. Nope, I think I told you on a PM too; but he suggested something similar to your PM Are we seriously advocating for Csmiami to just steal his money? Say someone buys something from me, and sends me the shipping fee upfront and agrees to pay the rest after they receive the item. Before it's shipped, the buyer realized that they can't actually afford the item for some reason and need to spend their coins on living expenses or whatever. Am I then allowed to keep the shipping fee?
A deal was made, and ArmandoComellas backs out. Csmiami is not damaged by the action of returning their funds. (minus tx fees)
It was not my intention to keep the funds (at least for more than a couple of days). At first I was just really amazed by the whole situation, how absurd everything seemed post after post, repeating the 0.03 for 0.015 each time. It was quite a good way to gain insight on how these people work; because the moment he smelt he could get some blood (or money), he got so focused on it he just didn't really read the posts of his own thread. There could be an argument made to scam a scammer to repay the person they scammed, but as of right now ArmandoComellas has not scammed anyone, and while you could argue that they were likely to scam, thought crimes aren't reasons to steal money. That kind of reminds me of this

LOL! @ArmandoComellas, You just won "The most entertaining fuckstick on bitcointalk today" award. You win absolutely nothing. Don't spend it all in one place.
Hey Csmiami, maybe you should donate the 0.003BTC to Known Alts And Part Time Extortion thread.
I was thinking about donating it to Sea Shepherd (I have some personal thing for them), but helping the forum may work too. Suchmoon suggested another approach though

Oh shit i put 0.00300000 well man send it back to me please!
FFS what a clown... Did you really think Csmiami won't notice the extra 0? That was kind of the point of this "sociologic experiment on forum scammers"
It was my bad i didnt see that extra 0 (0.003) i dont have the bad intentions as your thoughts coming
Nope, you were the one saying 0.03 on the first place; I did only repeat it several times for you to correct me, or in case you didn't, realize that you really meant 0.03 for 0.015

Oh shit i put 0.00300000 well man send it back to me please! So you suddenly want to get out of a deal that has been made in public and quoting the ammount of BTC several times? What if now I don't feel like it and want you to maintain your end of the deal? If you dont want to maintain the deal just send me back that 0.003 BTC Ou, but I do indeed feel like maintaining it, so as it has been stated here, you still have to send 0.027BTC before I release your 0.015BTC loan

If it was not a Profit driven site, then their would be No ADs. Quoted from another forum I'm a member of Hi, as with many things the saying: "Fast, Good or Cheap. Pick two." applies to hosting.
Ad revenue is not for profit, but rather a need

I had a problem myself to choose a proper section for this thread. I thought about reputation but found a similar thread in meta some time ago and that is why decided to post it here.
My story is about Bitcointalk and BTC, so it can fit into both of these sections meta and bitcoin discussion.
I will leave it to moderators.
I think you are refering to this thread. I don't mean to sound harsh, but this looks like what has been discussed around in some threads: merit fishing. I'm glad BTC saved you though

Thanks for the update on PM about your collateral I guess.
I have been checking, and you want to use those tokens. Let's do the math:
AXU/XLM currently at 0.0089979
XLM/BTC currently at 0.0000116
So 150,000 * 0.0089979 * 0.0000116 =0.015656346BTC
0.015656346BTC is very far away from the 120% value most lendors ask in this board (0.45*1.2=0.54BTC) So I don't think this is valid collateral

|

Personally I'm against necro-bumping when there is nothing relevant to say.
Fortunately, mods can sometimes delete the bump (and thus the visibility of the tread) if it is listed as off-topic. One of the greatest achievements of the merit sistem is that it stopped these gruesome people from posting in 2013 threads just to gain activity "because I have the right to post"
I hope those were the kind of bumps you were complanining about (and now you know you can report them) My issue is that there aren't any defined/strict rulesets to depict how long a thread has to be inactive in order for a bump to be considered a necrobump. Personally, I've encountered some barely-substantial posts bumping threads that have been inactive for a few months. I believe some of them were left there while others were deleted. The issue is, though, that it starts up a new wave of spam with old posts (some from over a year ago) being quoted and answered as if they were being asked now. Example: "price reaching $X" post from 2015 being responded to now. Yup, those are exactly the ones I mean. A thread a few months old maybe still be relevant; but an inactive thread from 3/4/... years ago is hardly relevant now (or you can be hardly relevant to it)
