I believe I can cover again
1884  Economy / Lending / Re: I issue a loan at BTC. on: June 21, 2019, 07:07:15 AM

You cannot loan to a person under 18.  They cannot enter into the agreement.

In an online forum, where everyone uses screen names and all transactions are made in a mostly-anonymous token?

Quite hard to verify that, and personally, I'd be reluctant to give any ID to a online forum user... Sad
1885  Other / Meta / Re: I can't find my thread on: June 20, 2019, 10:13:19 PM
If a Mod is too stupid to see a newbie asking a valid question then deletes it they shouldnt be a Mod.  have mercy on a newbie......what a way to say welcome.

As a current Mod in a non-crypto related forum, I couldn't disagree more. The section I moderate there has relatively low traffic, so I'm "lucky" that I don't have to deal with tons of BS.

Now, look at the size of Bitcointalk and think: how many BS has that mod deal with today? Yeah, they signed up for this, but they can get upset too. And when you mix being upset with your personal opinion on a topic, you may simply delete it without any further contempation
1886  Other / Meta / Re: I can't find my thread on: June 20, 2019, 10:00:28 PM
Well, that sucks. One mod moves it from beginners and help to mining and then the next dev deletes the topic. Is that anyway to treat a newbie asking a legitimate question and getting legitimate answers.  Huh

Mods are humans aswell, they can make a bad decition, or we may not agree with the one they made. But if you believe there has been some kind of error, when asked nicely, you can get an answer as to why they have taken that decition.

As an example, just today I was talking to our local mod (franckuestein) about whether a thread about Poloniex recently stealing 12/6% of their BTC lendors to cover trading losses should go on the Altcoin services or Bitcoin services (I'm not sure we have yet reached any conclusion on the matter as of yet).

But what I mean is that when in doubt, ask nicely, and you will get the answers you are looking for
1887  Local / Esquina Libre / Nuevas publicaciones de Satoshi Nakamoto on: June 20, 2019, 09:19:51 PM

Fiat money does at least come from democratically elected governments (public institutions) so even if it's not perfect, it can be controlled, and is meant to be "for the people".
You obviously don't know that in the United States at least "fiat money" (the USD) is created by a conglomerate of private institutions:  the Federal Reserve (a private institution owned by very large private banks and other private investors) and all the private banks in the private banking system.

The United States government (originally "for the people" but now, due to the citizens united decision is, is "for the Corporations") then uses the money created by this privately held corporate conglomerate of privately held corporate banks and the Federal Reserve central bank.

RESEARCH it.

Here is a list of the stockholders/owners of the Federal Reserve system.  Unfortunately, since is it a privately held congolmerate, we do not know the amount of stock each of the stockholders owns.  But hey, at least we do know who owns and profits from our central banking sytem:

http://philosophyofmetrics.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/List-of-Federal-Reserve-Member-Banks-2015.pdf

Hmmmm, that's a hell of a good point. I'm not sure how things work over America (or the USA), and you made me doubt about how things actually work in the European Union. As far as I know, we have the European Central Bank, that is formed from the different National Banks (say Bank of Spain, of France, of Germoney...) which I believe are part of the State. But I'll check it in the following weeks (unless someone else already know it and explains it)  Lips sealed Lips sealed

PS: I thought that everything called Federal.... was part of the Government over the US Undecided

As his username says, he's "game protect" and hence he takes on disputes between players and gambling sites on the demand of the player/site.
Hence, a service which is first asked upon, can't be scam.

Lmao; my screen name can be Bitcoin-Doubler and don't actually double people's BTC (rather steal them). And in that case, people would be asking the service of the doubler (and surprise, it CAN be a scam)

Reposting from Meta.... (to give some context)

Will Libra be able to replace Bitcoin? I believe it won't. So, I don't think we should ask the question in OP, because both Facebook and its coins, Libra are worse than bitcointalk.org, and Bitcoin, respectively. Facebook platform also does not have good systems to control their quality of their community posts. Actually, they have reports but such things are not enough for huge platform like Facebook. Reporters should have rewards from their good reports.

I believe Yes! This coin will be a game changer. As it is backed up a few big companies like PP, Master card and Coinbase etc.

And that exactly why we should stay away from it; we are talking about actual (credit) PRIVATE companies creating their own money.

Fiat money does at least come from democratically elected governments (public institutions) so even if it's not perfect, it can be controlled, and is meant to be "for the people".

Private companies are there to make money. Users don't matter. So this is a whole new level of economic liberalism (which is kind of horrible to see).

It surely going to take down bitcoin.

I sincerely hope it won't and can't; and it will make real crypto even stronger

So the answer is a hard no

I wouldn't take this as a good example; there may be a reasonable explanation to share an address (for example a repayment). Besides, Bdstar posted before kpcian (28 Febr/01 March)

2. Have an alt account.
Not against forum rules

They are linked, your call if they are alts or friends.

Didn't see the update.

Could be an alt, the evidence looks solid, but still it's allowed to have more than one account (look at LoyceV and Loycemobile)

It would go against forum rules if he is still posting from the alt once his other account got banned
1895  Other / Meta / Re: Why my account is banned? on: June 19, 2019, 06:51:43 PM
It's not fair.I wish for a temporary ban for this time, appealed for it, let's see what happens 😑

1897  Other / Meta / Re: PM from admin demanding to exclude a certain user on: June 19, 2019, 04:51:59 PM

I know, but I just happened to wake up hella punny today.

But saying that "some user" has done something, and keeping the secrecy by not saying who that user is, is kind of pointless. If you want to expose something do it all at once, or don't do it at all

Ps: username of the admin could be admin yes, I've seen that account has been inactive for 10 years

I’ll be following this to see how you deal with no collateral loan requests after you decided to be so vocal towards my actions yesterday.

No problem there, but as a heads-up, most of them will be likely deleted and others, like the one from Tim1996 up here, may be worth a shot

Good luck, hope everybody plays ball if you know what I mean.

I rather the "pay" ball Wink
