Dude talking about democracy and freedom
Did I mention it creates 8.8 billion jobs+ (everyone votes and gets paid to vote on issues, rather than voting people to vote for them and they line their own pockets and become corrupt)
Want another 8.8billion jobs? everyone is part of the police force
Want another 8.8billion jobs? everyone is part of the fire fighting force
Want another 8.8billon jobs? everyone is part of the military (team earth)
Want another 8.8billion jobs? everyone is a medic
Want another 8.8billion jobs? everyone is on court duty a judge
Want another 8.8billion jobs? space exploration
Want another 8.8billion jobs? making homes for everyone, food, water and back up shelters!
What the actual fuck have I just read
1942  Other / Meta / Re: Troll abuses self-moderated topics in Russian local on: June 16, 2019, 06:09:26 PM
I see an easy solution here; if he is a troll and self-moderates topics, just let his topics die and ignore him.

Please, ban account "korner", since he violates the rules by ban evasion and trolling.

If this is true yeah, he should get perma-banned for the ban evasion. BUT and a big BUT, trolling is no reason for a ban
1943  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Is there a way to exchange dogecoin for eth without using an exchange? on: June 16, 2019, 06:01:43 PM
This $9 was when I had 2700 doge posted in the OP. But I adjusted it with the amount I had before.
I now have 5000 dogecoin. So you need to go according to the coingecko link I posted above and enter in the amount to see the current rate it costs. As of now 5000 is worth $16.64 so with that in bitcoin price using preev rate it is 0.001859btc so would want around this range.
Thanks for displaying interest in this trade though.

My bad for mis-reading  Undecided Undecided  5000DOGE is okay, but as I'm seeing in both poloniex and yobit (for reference), 5000 DOGE equal 0.0017BTCas of now. If we can get somewhere near that, I'd be happy to buy
Dogecoin is on yobit? Ah didnt check there as I just received an account there from another forum member.
If the withdrawal fee isnt to high to withdraw from the site once the exchange is done I might go this route as I need ethereum more then bitcoin at the moment.
Will check there and get back to you on this. Alright with you?

Yup, no problem there even if from my personal experience I'd nuke the whole Yobit exchange, servers and owners  Grin

You need to find someone who is interested to buy the doge from you in the forum. $9 is a very little amount unless you find a doge lover.
Yes I know but if there might be a doge lover here who can do this without needing to send it onto an exchange site then it will be worth it for me to be honest.
Update to the amount have now to 4000 dogecoin.

So anyone who would like to do this trade 1:1 of ethereum let me know please.
We will go by what coingecko says the price is at the time of the trade and give the same amount back in ethereum. Smiley

I'd do it for 0.001BTC right now. It's a bit less than 1:1, but that's my offer Wink

1948  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Atomic Wallet on: June 16, 2019, 01:41:50 PM
I have bitcoins on cex.io and coinmama.com for two years and I never had problems Smiley
and I also have an account in blockchain.com form 5 months

The "problem" you have there is that you do not control your private keys. If the exchange suddenly collapses, there goes your money (something similar to poloniex last week). In the case of a fork, they decide whether they are going to give the forked coins to you or not.

I could go on but exchange wallets are not safe wallets, and that is something that you do always have to keep in mind
1949  Economy / Services / Re: Marketers on: June 16, 2019, 11:06:27 AM
Hello,

We are searching marketers from these countries: China, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Spain

Please contact me if you can spend minimum 3 hours per day for our project.

We need mostly free promo, social media, blogs, translation, forums, etc + we will consider paid promo.

We can pay basic salary in BTC + % from sales

Contact me for interview: https://t.me/AndreyRomanov87

Bitcointalk has local sections, you can find the best local people for your project if you post it in the local sections, some of them I best marketer in the location you are looking for might not see your post.

But local thread rules prohibit posts in languages other than the local one, so he should first hire a translator (as he is requesting some in another thread), and the translator should then post the job offer. Otherwise, the thread will end up in the trashcan

1954  Local / Primeros pasos y ayuda / Re: Quiero aprender y solucionar algunas dudas on: June 16, 2019, 08:27:30 AM

Me cobraron 0.06€...

1955  Other / Serious discussion / Re: The price of petrol (gas) on: June 15, 2019, 07:35:56 PM
Not sure at all this will be helpful, but there is a regulation regarding marine Heavy Fuel Oils (HFO) and their maximum sulphur percentage / exhaust* gases becoming operative in 2020.

This will cut that percentage from the actual max (around 3.5%), to if I recall correctly, 0.5%. Ships not traveling on USA-waters will not be affected, as they already need to comply with the American regulation (0.3% tops I think); but the whole rest of the world fleet will be affected by this.

As a comparative, car fuel max sulphur percentages (in Spain) were of 0.2%...in 1994. Nowadays that has been reduced to 10 ppm, or 0.00001%

So 3.5% is >>>>>>than 0.00001%...

*I believe this is worth explaining, as it may be confusing.

The regulation will affect exhaust gas emission, so in order to comply, there will be 2 alternatives

       1) The HFO your ship burns has a lower sulfur composition, and thus, exhaust gases will have a lesser sulfur percentage.

             or

       2) You still buy and burn HFO with high sulfur, but you filter the exhaust gases with a pretty expensive machine

Now that we know this, and has been I believe, pretty well explained and simplified, I'll further develop way 1.

A HFO will have a low sulfur composition if:

  • The oil it comes from has a low sulfur composition
  • The oil is comes from has a high sulfur composition BUT has been treated and reduced

To finish this, that's starting to be both educational but long, there are a couple of fun facts in this "business".

  • Low-sulfur oil comes mostly from Arabia Saudi and Middle-East countries. USA has a good relationship with Arabia Saudi, but as we can see, not a good one with Iran (low sulfur oil producer)
  • The majority of the world-oil-sulfur-treating plants are located.... (I'll let you guess)....IN THE USA (and this is expensive AF)
  • That pretty expensive machine that I mentioned in way 2, was created and is manufactured in......... (I'm pretty sure you will guess this one too)
New construction ships may be able to purchase the filtering-machine, but as ships don't usually have enough space to put new equipment (because as you can imagine, these machines are huge), older vessels will have to buy low-sulfur HFO

How is this relevant to the topic and OP? Since most of the fleet will start to use low-sulfur oils, the prices on Middle-Eastern oils will be skyrocketing, whereas South American (mostly) will go submarine (a good thing for the people that purchase that north american machine)...

(So YES, this may be a whole conspiracy coming from USA to profit (a lot) and have an excuse to "go to war" with other low-sulphur producing countries (and do some good old plundering))

It may work with airdroppers that only want to make a quick buck dumping their shitcoins, but to atract any "important"/sensible user, they should start resolving their support tickets once in a while (I have an unanswered one since March 2018 as an example)
They clearly aren't hurting for users.

If you think about it, they certainly do garner a lot of money from shitcoins. But it's not even the airdroppers -- you have to understand, there are plenty of ignorant users that YoBit capitalizes upon. They even have their outrageous dice game with a crazy house edge and their "IEO" pump & dumps. All these can interest newbies or even perhaps older users that think they have a chance of earning money with low-volume/mcap coins.

Not to talk about their own YOVI token, with Rise-Only-Market rule
1960  Local / Servicios / Re: problemas graves con Poloniex on: June 14, 2019, 10:42:35 PM
