@Sithara007 One piece of news regarding the ICC revenue model might get you charged up.
Hearing some unofficial reports that BCCI could get 37% of the share from the final revenue pot ($3.5 Billion), right now it's 18-22% depending on taxes.
Just ridiculous. Doesn't mean much to the BCCI (as the amount will represent only a small fraction of their overall revenues), but it will destroy the smaller boards. And as usual, the allocation to smaller associate nations will be reduced further and cricket will completely die out in many of the smaller countries. Already teams with native players have seen their share going down by a lot. For example, there was a 90% reduction in funds provided to Nepal for the 2015-23 cycle, compared to what they got during the 2008-15 cycle. https://www.firstpost.com/firstcricket/sports-news/exclusive-icc-revenue-share-bcci-2024-2027-cycle-12452912.htmlAnd this is just the proposal from the ICC. Final share maybe even higher.

IMO final deal should be fair to 2 concerned parties BCCI and the associate nations. The former is bringing 90% of the money so they indeed deserve more and the latter parties need more support for the game. Maybe all full members (except India) should get the same amount as the last cycle ($70-$120 Million), with this ICC could satisfy both BCCI and Associate nations.

At this point, the BCCI receives 24% of the ICC revenues ($405 million out of $1.68 billion for 2015-23). This is set to be increased to somewhere between 32% and 40%. The other 11 test nations receive a total of 66.5% of the revenues ($1.115 billion). Associate funding stands at $160 million. That is 9.5% of the total funding for close to 100 teams. I really don't think that the other test nations would like to witness a reduction in their funding. In the end, always it is the associate nations who will suffer. And even among the associate nations, mercenary teams like UAE and USA will get a higher share this time, thanks to their good performance during the world cup qualifiers.

Keep pumping the same amount of $1.115 billion to other test nations. Obviously, percentage-wise their share will go down but the amount is still fair, considering hardly anyone brings any revenue to the table. Also keep in mind that this share is for only a 4-year cycle, in comparison to the previous 8 year cycle, it's a sweet deal. The remaining $2.4 billion could be distributed among ICC profit and expenses($600 Million), Accociate Nations ($600M) and BCCI ($1.2 Billion)

Without any doubt a big mess-up in ICC and their distribution of funding to all the countries except India which is not going to solve in near future because no one care about this game mostly are working for their own share from this huge profit which is mostly coming from India due to big market of cricket even at this point; if we are having huge share from India, and we have no legislation or system how to distribute this all then India deserve the biggest share with all other test playing nations will also go for fair policy which is working right now and most affected parties are Associate Nations then most chances no one will go against this and things will be going ahead in this way for few more years as well until we have any suitable replacement for this system. Here I have no problem about the USA as they are also next biggest market if we bring them in cycle in near future, but UAE is surely the biggest gainer in this all system and teams like Nepal and few others those are playing with all native players surely will get suffered.

It is just that they think about money before the future of cricket. If ICC was actually thoughtful about the future of cricket, they would have made a strict rule about having the number of foreign players in a team. I know that would have made the flow of money a little less. But I certainly believe that was going to make the future of cricket better. And the teams which have native players in the squad were going to genuinely improve a lot better.

England, Australia, India, Pakistan, Newzealand, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sirlanka that's the name we are listening in crickets world form long time . There should be more teams and competition in cricket and for that all cri let boards should work.

We can bring improvement in this game and bring more peoples in fanbase as well but here we need professional approach not business deals if we have former cricketers and better peoples to handle all things in ICC things can change drastically and results can also improve but this mindset which is allowing just big 3 or 4 to rule this all is creating big mess-up Sri Lanka, West Indies former World Champions in ODI and T20i are struggling badly and test format is also having big setbacks which are not going to recover in near future with this current approach and mind-set of current management. India, Australia and England are the biggest countries with New Zealand, South Africa and Pakistan are just behind them, but quality gape is widening because ICC is not bringing policies like FIFA for the improvement, and they are also not interested to spread cricket across the globe as well.

So to uplift the game, you either need to have a dedicated captain or a board to find the talents and the ICC will not elevate the game and groom the players.

T20 League in Saudi Arabia
After achieving success in football, Saudi Arabia also wants to work with cricket. That is, Saudi Arabia wants to organize domestic T20 cricket on a much larger scale in their country. Australia's top news media "The Sydney Morning Herald" published such news. According to them, the domestic T20 league of their country will be organized in a much more grand manner than the IPL. Where all the famous cricketers of the world can be seen performing. "The Sydney Morning Herald" revealed that the special committee of Saudi Arabia has already discussed this with the BCCI.
Not only limited to this, the current chairman Greg Barclay of the ICC said, "You should look at other sports related to Saudi Arabia. They are coming forward in every game. I think the cricket event will be more interesting in their country. Such a league would be good for Saudi Arabia given the way they are approaching the sport. Interested in investing in the sport and the potential of cricket in their country regionally".
If Saudi Arabia has taken the initiative in this regard then surely they will implement this concern. And the cricket world will enjoy another IPL-like T20 tournament.

A lot of people think that the ICC will not do anything if it does not benefit them in any way. Additionally, we can also see that there was a time when India was suffering from a lot of hardships. There was a lot of discrimination going on in the world of cricket at the time. In spite of this, India became more popular and better over time. Now India is the biggest game in cricket. So if you want to be great, you will have to do it and you cannot wait for a handout from ICC.

There is no doubt now we have a young crown prince who is already involved in many controversies and trying to change image of this kingdom and himself but it's never been easy because right now if any country wants to have the biggest franchise league in cricket it's not possible without India, and they are already announces their players never been involved in this league so most chances this could be not going to happen even if we have something this could be not near the IPL, but they can achieve some better figures due to their huge influence in few countries like they have in soccer and also their huge investments can do something. But I guess this could be not near the IPL anyhow and ICC also can't do anything mean they will never be direct party in this case with they have no enough power to force other boards for this franchise league in near future.

So there is no reason for any player to not be in the T20 tournament.

This cricket venture is total business as they were never in cricket and this is not something you can develop in one or two year it takes years and years to make a good team and start such league. But this is going to be an interesting one for the world.

I don't think that they are in for the profits. They want to make Saudi Arabia a global sports destination (similar to what they have done in boxing, football and golf). Under the new king (Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud) they have relaxed a lot of their strict religious laws, and have made the country more appealing for the foreigners. But I don't know how this tournament can become successful without the Indian players. India generates >90% of the income in cricket, and without the Indian players this league will end up in losses. Also, the viewership will be lower without Indian interest.

They must be going through a long planning process. They are widely known in football. Also they want to do something that can take their country to another level globally. They are the ones who consistently keep an eye on cricket. To be honest I think big cricketers can join there if the money is spent. However, no cricket league is complete without Indian cricketers and that's why IPL is the best.

You are right IPL Cricket is the reason and best of Indian cricket's incredible growth in indian cricket notice how the standard of indian cricket has improved in the last 10 years. India currently dominates world cricket a few days ago, he went to australia and won the test series. The fun and USP of the IPL for the audience is the sheer excitement the flood of four sixes, the bragging rights that the urban craze calls and watching the stars of different teams play together.

Right now, money or profit is no problem for the Gulf region countries because they are investing huge funds for the change of mindset about them after having good experience in soccer clubs around UEFA now they are investing for their own leagues and as Qatar organize soccer world cup things are completely change competition is on for few countries to organize events like this which is surely not easy just because of this now Saudi Arab are having intention to bring cricket in their limelight even this is not easy task but most chances we will have one of the best league from their side which will also give huge profit and salaries to players. India is the biggest stakeholder with the biggest market, but we can expect good revenue and profit for them as well because they also have good fan base around subcontinent and as they change things in soccer we can expect good changes from them in cricket as well.

First matches of the ACC Men's Premier Cup 2023 were played today and Nepal and Hong Kong emerged as victorious. A total of 10 teams are taking part in this competition, and out of them only 2 teams have native players in their squads (Nepal and Malaysia). The winner of this championship will qualify for the Asia Cup ODI tournament, which will be held sometime later this year. I really hope that Nepal would win this tournament, as they have some promising young players like Sandeep Lamichhane, Rohit Paudel and Kushal Bhurtel.

They have certainly made their country a destination for foreigners. A lot of people think that they are still earning money by selling oil. One thing I can say for sure is that they don’t have the type of oil right now that they had once. They have certainly made a fortune by selling oil. But now they have made the country, so representative throughout the whole world that everyone wants to be a citizen of their country. Now they are trying to make almost every sport popular by keeping their country in the conversation. I don’t think they are trying to improve their own team so much. And that is why I think they are in this for the money. But it is absolutely certain that without Indian players, they are not going to generate good enough revenue.
