According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

LOL dont you have another project you should be working on or do you ditch your "old" coins??

"Ditch my old coins" lol

I still actively support all my projects and keep them up to date with time tested protocol changes. Wink

I'll be implementing cross chain transactions and add frk functionality into expanse with a sort of "oracle" type contract.

But in all seriousness, if I havnt ditched FRK in 3 years why would I ditch it now?

How to lower the intensity of the GPU? My card usually goes up to 86, 87 degrees C, which is too much. Which command to put in the .bat file?

I've tried this,

setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 70
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 70

but it has no effect on the temp.

Ethminer does not support flags for changing gpu clock speed or voltage, does not support yet. As Xdragon said u should lower your gpu clock and gpu voltage. The best you can do is find the lowest stable voltage for the current clock speed and see if it helps. If not, lower your clocks and keep looking for lowest stable voltage again. But first of all give your card more airflow.

ethminer can be change on GPU clock/mem clock /intensity there are a simple way

r280 31 Mhs 77 degrees c without overclock only get 26 Mhs

but no one answer my question   Angry

I underclock mine (3-280x's) via afterburner, has negligible effect on hash rate, pulling 550 watts at the wall.

I notice that overclocking the core clock has the most effect on hashrate and underclocking the memory has very negligible effects, if any.

3x HD 7970: I did 72 MH/S with 1050 MHZ core. On 1150 MH/S, I did 76 MH/S. This is all done without any Powertune. No relative temp changes, hottest card running 72 C at 75% Fan and the others on auto running 69 C. I live in the northern California valley which is a pretty warm area and have no AC.

Proudly presenting ...

A -simple & restricted, but- well working
block explorer:

(click)

I have not yet had a closer look at gexp, but I am positive I can port that to EXPANSE for you.

[ABEE] AltSheets Block Explorer Extension 0.2.2

I think Dan is already making that,

If I NOW port mine to Expanse, it would definitely buy time for Dan,
to first finish the probably many other things he has on his plate.

Then, later, Expanse will have 2 block explorers - that is good.

but thanks for the offer!
A pleasure.

Yes, it is an offer to you as the Expanse team, please discuss it.

But this is also an offer to the whole Expanse community.

About block explorers: There are many reasons why we all want one, and some
of these questions are more reliably solved, if at least one of the (can be many)
block explorers ... does not come from the same people who made the coin.

I am offering an independent view onto the same blockchain.

People: Get together, then your single contribution can be even small,
but if you are ~ten people crowdfunding this, my work can still be paid fairly.

whats stopping you? Smiley

Thx for your question. Good question! Answer: Nothing, I am unstoppable *g*

I simply need to ask money for my work. Or quit working on crypto stuff.

So all of your who ... are interested in an independent blockexplorer NOW

- then here is your chance.

"I pledge _.__ BTC for collectively buying ABEE now. Who else?"

Could you make your own block explorer with advertising or a donate address? As it would be your project you could customize it however you like of course. For example, you could sell block explorer services with your block explorer? I think having more than one block explorer is a good idea actually, but I do believe Dan is already in process making it now for us.

Good job.

The level of EXPANSE's recognition will shortly be on upward trend.

Anyway, is it a little bit strange that BleuTrade, Bittrex - I mean reliable companies trusted you so far. Otherwise - Block explorer is fundamental part of succesful project.

Credit of trust?

I share something about my HIS HD 7950 Iceq boost. I am testing with just one card. My rig draws about 60W at the wall when idle.

HIS HD 7950 cannot undervolt with MSI Afterburnee, even I can unlock Undervolt feature in setting. I have to mod a BIOS to get it works with MSI Afterburner.

Here is my test result:

1. Without undervolt, overclock core 1100 Mhz and 20% power limit, hashrate is 25.71 Mhs with 243W.

2. The min VDDC that I can get is 1.050 mV. Cannot overclock with that VDDC.

Core 925 Mhz/ Mem 1250 Mhz. About 23.3 Mhs ~ 164W

3.  VDDC: 1.088 mV. Can overclock to get max hashrate

Core 1100 Mhz/ Mem 1250 Mhz. About 25.71 ~ 188W

Sell GTX750ti - GTX960 - GTX970 - HD7950 iceq...

Bleutrade just added us on their own and I didn't even expect it, but it worked out for Bleutrade and I am glad they did it. Bittrex did contact Franko yesterday so we knew that was coming. We are waiting on the block explorer to be added to Cryptsy.

I assumed everyone would wait for the block explorer first, but perhaps since we are well known they are not as concerned, and as we have been publicly involved with our real identities in cryptos for years, that makes sense.

Block explorer and website should be completed soon however.

I think alot of people trust James and Chris, they've been mainstays in the crypto community for awhile. The community DAO will also ensure that long-term work is put into the project, this is no quick weekly pump and dump.

You are full of shit unless you can explain how this scam works. It's easy to pick coins that will go down in value. Virtually all do.

I'm sick and tired of fuckheads claiming scam every time you turn around. You are just a run of the mill idiot saying scam anywhere you can unless you can do two things:

1. Name some good picks, in advance. Right now do it. Hahahahahahaha YOU IDIOT you have nothing. You scammer. Put your rep on the line.
2. Explain how a coin is a scam when you call it a scam.

If you can't do that, you are just another anonymous idiot on the interwebz.
