I agree that Lebron wants AT LEAST one more ring, to equal with Kobe, and if it was ever possible then maybe two more rings to equal Jordan. Those are the only stats he stayed behind, the ring numbers, sure Robert Horry has more than all of them, so not like rings are the only things that matter but it's still very important when you compare the big names. When you move Lebron to Warriors, there is a deal to be made, how?
Well if Warriors give up Jimmy Butler, and Lakers give Lebron and Bronny then the trade passes. That means if Lebron goes to Warriors, they would have Steph, Buddy Hield, Draymond, and Lebron on top of that, which isn't some awesome trade I agree with the fact that squad is still weak, but it would be awesome to watch that part is for sure. I mean they can do the reverse, which is horrible, but they can give Steph to Lakers, and then Lakers could give Austin and Doncic, but that makes no sense for Lakers.
The number of rings isn't always indicative of a player being better than others. At the very least, because winning a championship depends not only on the skills of an individual player but also on luck. In fact, throughout the history of the NBA, there have been many excellent players who have achieved outstanding individual results but have not been lucky enough to win even one ring.

We will never know if it's the GSW don't want to sign him and that's why he's offered with a contract that they know he won't sign. Or it was him being like Dennis Schroder after all. Maybe he knows his actual value or maybe he don't want to be there anymore because he's not given a good playing time that he wants. Maybe he thinks something else and should be treated like how the GSW treats their stars and even Dray. We don't know after all but if he have hard time in getting a new team, he'd likely take that contract.
It could be that they just offer him a decent money, nothing more. Just like in the case of Klay Thompson, the offer wasn't good and so he decided to go out of the Warriors even though he is one of their corner stone in this dynasty run. As for Kuminga, he is still very young and I will say that he hasn't proved anything yet for the Warriors to really give him a good contract. I think this is Warriors culture though, it seems that they don't want to spend a lot of money on their players except maybe Curry and Draymond. However, one thing that we can say is that there might be teams that are willing to get Kuminga for a big money, that's why he is not afraid to bargain to the management that he deserves more. But let's see, as we close in the trade deadline, maybe Kuminga will not be a Warrior this upcoming season. I agree, he hasn't proved anything yet but he's a good support player to the team. He might have some contributions already but he has to accept the fact that he's not as big and explosive as the others that have left. He's even luckier than Jordan Poole because he's been traded to the Wizards while him, he's got some offers. Or if he takes this offer, the GSW might just play with his career then and will trade him to a weaker team for a better prospect.

In fact, throughout the history of the NBA, there have been many excellent players who have achieved outstanding individual results but have not been lucky enough to win even one ring. Yes its because they could just luckily ride with strong teams and win lots of rings. Individual achievement is the one good basis on how to determine if they are really a great player. Its unfortunate for other great players retiring without a ring but still they have amazing career and for sure they leave good marks on their fans. There's so many debate about which team is great and who is the best player of all time, but for me I don't care much about this since what's more important is I watch my favorite team and player having a good time or winning their games.

I disagree, they wanted to sign him, but Kuminga doesn't want they offer to him. He didn't get that much time because he was not that healthy I believed last season. It was like on and off to him. And so when playoff comes, Steve Kerr has made some adjustment as his first five is based on what opponents they have.
But I think Kuminga's mind is already set that he wants out of the Warriors and he is looking for at least $30 million a year contract. It is rumored that the Kings is really interested of him and was promised a starting five position. But not sure if that can be done as they have Lavine and DeRozan who fits the same role as Kuminga.
What I think is that, the health isn't an issue, but the fact that Butler is playing the same role as Kuminga does is the main reason why he got lesser playing time. Also one thing is that, if Butler and Kuminga are playing together, they are both -30 on offense as well, and that for me is one reason why they lost against the Timberwolves in the playoffs (excluding Curry being injured). I wonder if there's a team that is willing to give him around $30-$35 million per year. As for the Kings, they want to get him, but the Warriors want either Keon Ellis or Keegan Murray on the package which the Kings declined. If for some reasons, they got Kuminga, and he doesn't fit with Lavine and DeRozan, the management can just trade either one or two of them mid-season. As for Kuminga, I just hope that his risk will pay off for him, and will not become the next "Dennis Schroder". IYKYK

Actually, He is good as an individual player. He is just landed on a team with different playing style that revolves to Curry while being supporting player is not suitable role for him. He become tested when Butler was injured but he still show inconsistency on his play that’s why Kerr rarely use him if they have other choices. I understand why he pursue other team that will value him since he might show his full potential for a much higher valuation of his future contract.

NBA is business and he Kuminga manager knew that his valuation will dropped significantly if he stay unproductive on Warriors bench if he stay that way even if he has a good offer from Warriors just to stay. They are now taking a high risk move for seeking new team that will allow him to show his full potential with good playing time length. The problem is I don’t any team that is willing to accept him with high value in return based on his previous output.

There were some news that Luka would sign a $229M deal from the Lakers. While he did signed for the Lakers, the amount is different from the actual. He's signed $165M for 3-years and that's around $55M per year which is still a good contract. I guess that the other players looking for that kind of max contract per year and so, they want themselves to be offered with a higher one. Rob Pelinka is very much happy that the Lakers were able to sign him. --> https://www.nba.com/news/luka-doncic-lakers-contract-extension

Luka can also secure a 5-year extension worth $415M and that's a lot of money waiting for Luka in the Lakers. Should he wait for that extension then he's guaranteed with that money. And I think that he's waited on that with the Mavs but Nico stopped him to be eligible with that. While we don't know if they can get a chip but it's going to be amazing if Luka can finally get his first chip. If Lebron decided to go elsewhere and play for another team, that's fine since Lakers have finally found their new star.

Well, good luck to him if ever he's going to find a new team. But what people mostly think when someone declines an agreement and contract, they're mostly following the path of Dennis. And we all know how terrible his career went after that although he's still in the league but missed that big pot of money that he should have by then now. Hopefully, Kuminga will find a team that will really sees his value and will have a mutual agreement based on what he think is correct for his contract. Because looking at most players now, that's how demanding they are but we can't blame them, they know that their careers are no longer going to be the same as before when they're aging.

He would be a good addition if they could land him, but the Bulls don’t seem interested in buyout. As for the Clippers, they may be old, but if they stay healthy, they’re still not a team to underestimate. Don’t forget their series against the Nuggets last season, they managed to force a Game 7. The problem with the West is that it’s too stacked with strong teams compared to the East, especially now with no Haliburton and Tatum next season.

The effort that he's done made him big bucks and this is going to continue for the next years to come if he remains healthy. I think that he's good in keeping himself healthy and the Lakers also know about that. The next contract will be greater than we can imagine so if things go positively, he's going to have 8 years and even more in the Lakers if no trades and swaps will happen.

But the truth is, it's not enough as a superstar, and that's because they cannot offer him a supermax due to a rule about drafting and spending time with the team he was drafted by. If he were still in the Mavs, it could've been higher than the contract of Jaylen Brown. I think the Lakers offered what they could to secure Luka, but the taxation in LA is different from that in Dallas, so it's going to cost him some money, too. Then, there's the problem of an unsure team. The Lakers need to fix the pieces and surround him with good role players if they badly want a championship again, especially with Luka on their roster now.

Yeah that's true.
I'm a bit worried now that the contract’s already signed, he might go back to his old form, slower and not as sharp on defense. Hopefully, that won’t be the case because with the Lakers having a new owner, they’re probably aiming to experience a championship run again, especially since the last one was during the pandemic. and for LeBron, it would be great if he could retire after winning another title. That’s why I’m feeling positive about the team next season, especially now that they’ve got a solid big man in Ayton.

We saw his commitment to change his lifestyle and hit the management even his desired weight to perform more better. Also for sure Luka still didn't forget about what Dallas did to him that's why he provably try to do more better so that he can show to his old team what they are missing for. As of the moment Luka is looking great and provably that he will became more better version of his self next season.

The Lakers already have a fairly strong roster on paper, but I think they should strengthen their bench. By the way, I recently saw a report that Lakers management isn’t particularly eager to part ways with LeBron. On the contrary, they would actually welcome him retiring as a Laker.

It is not, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't want it, or shouldn't want it. They can very well want it so it would make sense for Lebron to chase a ring again, however it wouldn't make sense to go to Warriors, or some team that may actually win the ring, not to a team that would be clippers and not win a ring even with Lebron. It's really a different situation, this is why it makes more sense if they could definitely go focus on some where that may get him a ring. Looking at the current situation, Lebron at Lakers is better than Lebron at clippers, there is no really reason to move. I would say Lebron should wait out another year, he seems to have a decent team right now, got a big too, maybe they will do better this year.

To many teams are so strong in papers but the problem is they didn't blend well in reality due to many issues. Common problem with this is the chemistry since some hard to blend with their co stars since they want the ball always on their hand. Luka is more effective when he always have the ball. The problem if Lebron would continue to allow it knowing that there's little problem starts to arise especially that Lebron want Lakers to be his team. Also Ayton have this attitude problem so this is huge challenge for Lakers to make everything work according to what they like to happen.
