everyone go ahead n make sure your wallet version says
"v2.0.0.0-c7ef985-funky-beta"
if it has a different string after 2.0.0.0 you are on the wrong wallet, please download another from the main site. you will not have to resync though.
if you have a windows wallet, it may be cut off. as long as you downloaded the updated windows wallet last night, and not the first one, you're good to go.
Hello, I'd like to know about verge on trex...is it take much longer? Thats in the hands of Bittrex , this is only a assumption , but they are possibly waiting for the fork and that is all goes smoothly!! Had no official notification from them but!!

After 3 hours, my wallet say "out of sync" and the blocks are done :O That isn´t right or?
Thats where im at. Block up to date. but still showing out of sync. add me to that list That's correct, until the blockchain frees up. Then it will sync. By my calculation, we'll hit the 340,000th block within the next 8 hours or so. I have no idea what happens if the blockchain is still blocked. I have a question for one more knowledgeable than I. Between family and work, I don't spend a lot of time here. I had been away for a month and just happened to catch this mandatory update. My question. Is a paper wallet immune to these updates? Can I just pack them away for a year or two and be able to import them into any future new wallet? I wouldn't have to worry about keeping track of updates. Thank you in advance for any information. yes a paper wallet is not affected by any of this, as the coins reside in a pubkey/privkey, that you can import back into a wallet at any time

For anyone who is really holding for the long term, this seems like the most secure method by far.

Has the Windows version been released?
I see Linux and Mac.
hi antonio ... been a while mate ... cant you compile windows versions? ... im learning how to do it on windows - but would much prefer to cross compile via linux ... need to learn how to do both - as i need this for my own coins also ... apparently windows compiles are WAY more complicated than any linux compiles ... #crysx Hey cryslox, Never tried to compile a wallet. Not sure what all I need to compile. I guess I can google. Compiled a few miners (Nvidia) but that is it. yup - thats kool ... i just dont really know how to cross compile the versions ( inside linux ) which would be a HUGE advantage ... no success with qt5 at all ... ill bet that a fedora 23 x64 issue ... in any case - im glad to see you still around with a lot of coins thats goign aroudn ... been chatting to alexis78 regarding decred and blake* kernels ... you still have those evga 750ti sc cards dont you? ... the super clocked ones? ... i dont want to go off topic here - so skype me if you can ... im still waiting on the bct people for my profile - but that does not seem to be happening anytime soon ... will be opening my own forum for the public discussions as well - im not impressed with the lack of concern over my 'hero turning legendary' account ... hence the newbie account i have ... at least on a forum i CAN do something about - i wont lose the accoutn and have a much more speedy result ... though ill still wait for the bct people to react to the messages that have been sent from me ... #crysx

I'm having a hard time syncing the wallet. Compiled the latest git, cleared the blockchain, it hangs and only gets orphans or continuously reorganises the chain. Stopping and restarting may help, still I can't reach the last block. Any snapshot?
hi pallas ... long time also mate ... ill open mine up and see what happens ... its been compiled from git only a couple of days ago - so unless there has been an update ( which is easily recompiled anyway ) it should sync also ... did you compile or just use the readily available one? ... #crysx

everyone relax. the next round of blocks will pour in, and then we'll be on multi algo and new difficulty retargeting. make sure you have the newest wallets.
the ones before this WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE NEW NETWORK. their protocol has been bumped in the new one.

Will you make reddit +dogedtip functional, since it contains balances? Also, are you still contacting Cryptsy about the update? Still hoping they will open balances, as they did for some other coins. yes the reddit bot will go back up once that node is synced, and it will be in the new reddit. the same wallet will just be moved over. and no i have not contacted cryptsy since they closed a few weeks ago i highly doubt it will ever open again.
