at this moment Ferrari would not need Hamilton, but someone capable of organizing the team, as did Montezemolo, Jean Todt. Verstappen was this year third with 5 times a DNF and Bottas was second with just 1 DNF. If Verstappen didnt had that much bad luck this season he could have been easily second.
Good point. Considering that Verstappen had so many DNF and Bottas overcome him just by few points shows that Bottas had really poor season. And like some previous seasons this time it wasn't that much Verstappen's fault. He just had some back luck with his car and he wasn't sometimes on the wrong place at the wrong time.

Good point. Considering that Verstappen had so many DNF and Bottas overcome him just by few points shows that Bottas had really poor season. And like some previous seasons this time it wasn't that much Verstappen's fault. He just had some back luck with his car and he wasn't sometimes on the wrong place at the wrong time. He has been unlucky this year especially in one of the Bahrain races where Sergio Perez won,Verstappen was exactly in the wrong place at the wrong time.Although his young age he has matured a lot as a driver but I am afraid Red Bull will not be able for the upcoming year to offer him a winning car.

Just small info. With the salary cap for team, they have also reduced the tests for 2021.
The next year we will have only 3 days of tests, down from 6 of 2020 and down from 8 of 2019.
The tests will be in Spain at Barcelona as always between the 2nd and 4th of March, or 73 days.

I think this is completely wrong, because to test the car the only real useful thing is the track. Doing just 3 days of testing is bad for teams. what would change if after having raced on a circuit, the teams stayed there for another 3 days to test, they would only have the cost of food and accommodation for the staff, since the materials are already there. increasing the tests would give the possibility to recover to those behind, working only in the wind tunnel is not productive

Russell showed he deserves a place at Mercedes. Russell got much more talent then Bottas. He would probably go to another team. At the end he is still a good driver. Russell did really good job when he got the chance in the absence of Hamilton. He is a really competitive racer. He was so close to winning the race but he was so unlucky that he got a puncture and couldn't get the win. But even this race shows how much Russell really can do at Mercedes.

The initial intent of FIA is to save money for teams. The less they test the less they spend. But this is completely wrong, Teams instead of spending money on the track are now spending money on better simulators so in the end they will not save money and they create less hype in the fans.

Hamilton don't can help Ferrari at time, and why he should change to a worst car? With this car at the moment no one can win... Only for the big money he will change? And Ferrari have already two good drivers i think. I don't think that Hamilton will be eager to go to Ferrari. They are too away from their old strength. They should improve themselves really a lot. I think that Hamilton will renew his contract with Mercedes soon. We could see him at Mercedes for 2-3 more years. I don't also think that he will decide to retire before getting his 8th championship.

I guess exception for F1 will be made. Their case is different from some random people who arrive to the country. F1 team member and staff are tested several times a week during season. Also, they aren't allowed to leave their social bubble - they will spend whole race weekend in the track and hotel only.

In total it will be 400 hours in the tunnel, but only 80 hours will be with the wind flow activated. The top 5 ranked teams will have a 2.5% reduction in hours for each position.

I am really excited about the next season and I believe that the competition between the teams will be bigger than this season. I think that the number one team will be Mercedes again. But in my opinion, Red Bull will be closer to them with Verstappen and Perez. Vettel made a great move by going to Aston Martin. I think that he will be closer to his old days there. I am really excited about the next season and I believe that the competition between the teams will be bigger than this season. I think that the number one team will be Mercedes again. Next year will be similar but different. They will keep these cars but they will reduce around 20% in the downforce, some teams like Mercedes already said they have recovered this nerf somewhere else. Mercedes need to fix the problems with his electrical engine, it sounds ridiculous but they have problems if they push at 100%. Even if Honda already said they are leaving will come with a BIG upgrade as they said. Ferrari? Meh they have a new engine finally they can change it but who knows if they are pushing or waiting for the coming revolution...
