I had to try a few banks before I found one who had a proper swiftcode for international transfers. Its most likely your swiftcode.

I share your frustration. I requested a refund on Feb 2. They said it was processed on the 11th and would take 3-10 days. I'm still waiting.

Kurt responded, stating that their bank processed the transaction Feb 11. I checked w/ my bank on the Feb 14, no funds received. However, the funds had landed back in my account by the 19th when I checked again.

Refund: a) maxed out yearly contribution allowed into an IRA, b) savings account, c) new treadmill, d) Samsung 40" Smart LED TV and wall mount. And with the MtGox debacle any thoughts of an eventual purchase of my first new car is pretty much out of the question.
How the hell could he lose almost half a billion dollars? How the hell does that not show up in normal accounting procedures? My guess it was an effective slow loss, then he went home for the holidays, then they hit it hard while he was gone. Probably all wrong but if it is then again, how did the 770kbtc loss not get discovered?

Well, they denied me a BTC refund for my single Neptune order, saying that my only option is a wire transfer to a bank. Of course they never mentioned any banking requirement to receive a refund when I placed the order. I have no desire to involve banksters in any of my coin-related business, so now I'm kinda stuck. Did you pay with bank transfer or BTC via Bitpay? Paid in BTC via Bitpay.

If only there were some way to easily and reliably send money to someone without having to route it through the banking system.... THAT is the infuriating part. I paid in bitcoin, now they're forcing me to jump through all these fucking hoops just to get my money back.

You pretty much have to agree to their terms, or agree to not buy from them.

Seriously. Take your $10k and buy youself a crack whore for the night and make her do everything you can think of. You'll feel very very relieved the next day and never regret it for a minute. A crack whore can give you a better return for your money then the bitcoin industry.
You and I have had far different return experiences clearly.. lol, I'll happily stick with bitcoin. Regarding KNC, they're not worried about their cloudhashing failing considering all of you guys already paid for it. It's 100% paid for. Taking hardware and standup costs out of the picture, the system will mine profitably for awhile. Bravo KNC! Another dynasty is setup beneath the bones of the constituents. Took some folks awhile to realize this.

Tricky sentence, but I guess "The code is open source" refers to Andreas code, and not KnCwallet. (no reference found on github for kncwallet)
There's nothing tricky about it. If they use any of Andreas' GPL sources, then their code is also GPL. KnCWallet by definition is open source and the sources must be released. Furthermore, the EULA they require is illegal for a GPL project. KnCWallet has been opensourced today: https://github.com/kncgroup/bitcoin-wallet/tree/master/walletGuess ur post on Andreas' thread, speeded up that moment and forced KnC to change their terms of service https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=484105Thanks for that!

Of course they never mentioned any banking requirement to receive a refund when I placed the order. I have no desire to involve banksters in any of my coin-related business, so now I'm kinda stuck. I thought they mentioned BTC paid - BTC refund, fiat paid fiat refund? It appears to be based on the size of your order. Single Nuptune refunds are in fiat and multiple units are in BTC set by the BitStamp price but they don't tell you when they are doing the transfer... could be $450 per BTC or $650... I queued up a refund for 3 of 4 of my units, fiat was not an option. Still waiting for BTC but not a big deal. Spent 30 BTC for these 3 Neptunes, getting back around 45-50. KNC has been good to me and I still have my hosted units and 1 Neptune to see if they can pull this off like they did with the Jupiter. It will be interesting the BTC path for the coins... I'll share once I get them.

Devil's Advocate: The possibility that there could actually be some sort of tampering, and that he actually is right. Afterall, the Bitcoin Foundation has /a lot more/ to lose than 500BnUSD if that's the case.
but the malleability doesn't steal in itself.. it is just like making fake receipts. Mt Gox still had to process the second withdrawal via customer service. There is no way that a business goes bankrupt from the returns counter unless everyone is in on it or it is just a weak coverup. This scam runs deep and once the FBI is finally done with their SR investigation we may know a lot more on this... it seems there are a few combinations of scam going on. Karpeles has been in denial or complicit for a long time.. probably a bit of both The the resend on the withdrawls where fully automated. No CS was involved.

That's been a fairly popular post of late. Someone even posted an English translation of the web page. Oh well, from the ads at least it's nice to know what "toilet" is in Swedish: toaletten. Some days it feels like that's where K and C are putting we the customer: in the toaletten.

Looks like some people are being children again and marking various responses for deletion and asking the moderators to delete them..
This thread for well over 1,400 pages has been mixed topic, KNC abandoned it and doesn't care. It's surprising someone would bother moderating the topic, or that people here still don't like the truth and ask for certain posts to be removed.
I'd ask for KNC to provide us updates but, I don't think many folks here care that much anymore (I don't), and we know KNC won't provide them anyhow.

I suppose some folks don't have a better outlet for the pain of losing BTC/fiat by siding with KNC.
