I just don't know how to react this update, 21 May, still not get your 20nm chips, so we still need to expecting assembly and SMT process, btw does bare board already available? Now, we can counting how many lead time we are still expecting, well it will be at least 3 weeks to go if you got chip by next week; and does boxes of Nipy ready? how many time they consume to assembly a machine, oh my dear it will be another month to start shipping if you have chip by next week(Monday)......... And according to the latest tap out news, there is at least 2 weeks to expecting 20nm chips, Oh be serious my dear~ shortest leadtime is 5 weeks to go my guess~

When you read their news you'll see statements like this:
"We have a photo today of what the new Neptune ASIC board will look like, The chip on this card is the Jupiter 28nm chip but the card will physically look the same when it starts shipping next month."
Putting "starts shipping" in the statement is a passive way to hypnotize our minds that it really will happen. Another marketing tactic out of the marketing 101 book.

I think one of the hashing boards in one of my November Jupiters just failed.
Basically, whenever I connect power to this board, it seems to short out the power supply so the power supply won't turn on. I've tried two different power supplies, and the same thing happens with them both when this board is plugged in.
The unit runs fine with the other three hashing boards plugged into the power supply.
I'm going to remove the bad board and inspect it tonight, but I think it's done.
This Jupiter started acting up a week ago and would randomly stop hashing, and I suspect this was the cause.

How about treating us with the same dignity as the ones you sent the newsletter to?
...And how were we treated with "dignity" again? I must have missed that part. i got a newsletter lucky me. chip specs for the titan??!! WTF... where are the chip specs for the Neptune!? Yeah dammit! I feel so abused and abandoned now... with dignity, of course. And you still have how many Neptune's on order?

...And how were we treated with "dignity" again? I must have missed that part. i got a newsletter lucky me. chip specs for the titan??!! WTF... where are the chip specs for the Neptune!? No chip spec for the Neptune, but they reminded everyone once again that they will open a cloud mining service which will compete with their own customers and which will make their customers earn less bitcoins after they promised that they will NOT compete with their customers. Good job KnC! Fucking liars! Mega fail!PLEASE everyone! Keep in mind, EVERY newsletter you see by KNC is a marketing tool/tactic. It isn't to supply you with any reasonable information. They are worded very professionally, not technically all for future sales/customer's. It ALL boils down to one thing and one thing only. SALES. SALES. SALES. Every word, every newsletter is incur potential sales. That's the only reason or anyway KNC can stay afloat is to get as many sales as they can. Maybe you don't believe this, but that's the only reason why a company would have any reason to speak to its customers, SALES and more SALES and potential SALES.

so what kind of queue is this??
perhaps with the slight price rise they will either rush out some more refunds
or maybe just stall some more and hope they can give us 1BTC refund...
--snip-- So y'all have 10 days left to bail, then KNC owns your cash ^^^^^^^^^^^^If they can delay you another 10 days, like I said, you will get hashing the datacentre and they will get your money. There will be no more refunds after 1st June, believe me. Ring them up and tear them a new arsehole. You have 10 days left to get a refund.

I didn't see this posted in the past few pages, apologies if I missed it http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/260in3/kncminercom_puts_butterfly_labs_bad_reputation_to/Here is a short list of things the people at KnCMiners have got away with the last couple of months. -KnCMiners has sent out old dirty used components as "New Products" and refused Refunds as frustrated customers find themselves in limbo. Evidence: *case -KnCMiner sending out hardware not even correctly essambled, using rubber bands to hold compents together. To top stuff off, they are blaming the carreir, stating that if they had not been so wreckless if handling, that the rubber band holding the head sinks and other components to the board, would have been good enough Evidence: *case 1 *case 2 *case 3 *case 4 *case 5 *case 6 *case 7 -KnCMiner.com crooks are sending out units that are not even functional then refusing any refunds Evidence: *case 1 -KnCMiners.com tried to quietly change their ToS to avoid refunds, then calimed these were always the terms and conditions Evidence: *case 1 *case 2 -KnCMiners has been heavily censoring topics people requesting information about legals rights, attempts at trying to organize a civil action, threatening members that their "account is in risk of being being jeopardizes/lost" if they post anything negative. -KnCMinesr customers trying to connect with other members outside of the strictly censored forums for the sake of working together to find solutions to what KnCMiner has done to them, have had their accounts completely banned. -KnCMiner using their position in a foreign country for most all their customers as a buffer to get away with what ever conduct they wish to engage in. Please Note there are many more cases! These are just a few Awesome! Repost it far and wide. #cleanupcrypto

after meeting orama, he was very short in hat he would say. he is of the opinion he owes no one anything, be that a thank you, a sorry or a explanation, he stopped working at KnC months agp but cannot really talk about it, he recons he is due thousands from KnC and he got paid very little for his work.
since leaving KnC he has had nothing to do with bitcoin, why he was at the 2014 confrenece I don't know. basically he struck me as a ittelegent guy but quite naive in his thinking. it was hard to.push him for answers, I suspect I very tight NDA keeping him quiet. while I was informing my friend David and trying to push on certain parts of.KnC's contempt and dishonesty, I could almost see Alex nodding in agreement, it was like I was watching the back of his head but knew this jaw and mouth were moving to mimic and copy the words I was speaking.
I met Alex with a friend of mine David Bailey, he runs ybitcoin magazine, whom KnC along with many other BTC companies are paid advertises. I tried my hardest to point out KnC crowd funding their own data center, breaking network protection, owning 11% of network and screwing franken jup customers.
Basically David was having none of it, he had very little understanding of what KnC had done over the last 6 months, although he has met them and thinks they are intelligent and full of charisma, he has never been a customer, only a paid advertiser. I am sure he told.me KnC are the best company to date and he has spoke or read reviews from customers which say so.
I feel as if we the community should show ybitcoin the real KnC and encourage them to be dropped as advertisers. either that of boycot the magazine.
bitcoin has taken a large turn for me recently, I have been learning and studying since 2011 and so much has changed, mostly in the last 6-12 months. who knows if I will stick around for the next 3 years.
Has had nothing to do with bitcoin, but was at a bitcoin conference. My suggestion is just not to believe anyone.

Are you trying to use multi-rail PSUs? My guess is yes. Use a good quality, Gold or Platinum single rail PSU for all mining rigs. Seasonic, Corsair and EVGA make the best PSUs for mining in my opinion.

I have to throw a shout-out for XFX supplies. They're priced well, single rail, and the higher output units are made by Seasonic.

So what has to happen for mining to remain profitable in 2015 ?
I've said this several times. Mining bitcoin on the consumer level is over. Normal households cannot supply enough electricity or cooling power to any mining rigs that can break even in an normal amount of time. And I'm not speaking to those guys that re-wired their homes and added special cooling to keep mining at "home". When I see people posting their pictures of their gear more and more of it is in some commercial data center they rented or work. If you work for a company that can provide the space and free electricity then you are really lucky, but in my opinion consumer mining is over. While there will always be guys running video cards, spending more money on hardware and electricity, that doesn't count. I'm talking about current hardware/specs/profit at the given time.

I love the Corsair AX1200i PSUs too but the EVGA Supernova 1300 G2 are $100 less and have excellent reviews. They are Gold rated but some reviews say they could be easily be Platinum rated. But alas, the don't have the fancy USB interface/GUI that the Corsairs have. But I don't find that useful for Bitcoin mining rigs anyways.

I hope it comes online on-time and with full 3 TH/s hashing power running 24x7. I also hope they don't switch Plan B off for a week after they ship your Neppy, as it takes about a week to receive a unit what with shipping time plus customs delays.
