Do you feel shameful for being a gambler?

I don't think gambling is an illegal activities or something so I don't know why I should be shameful.It's my money and I think I have the right to do whatever I like.I know my few relative doesn't like gambling and try to stop me from gambling.But i don't care what they are saying.I love to do gambling and can't stop.

In some countries where gambling are legal there people do not feel any shame for playing gambling, they even playing gambling without hiding it from their parents and other family member. While in some area where gambling is not legal there people cannot play gambling openly, in such areas people also feel shame to play gambling.

Well tell me what's the country where gambling is considered 100% okay..

lol , there is no place/country that consider gambling are a fine thing. but some countries make gambling as legal activity and regulate it under government while some countries did not regulate and even ban gambling .

i guess that is what he means, and it makes difference to feel shameful or not.

I can't understand what you are implying to say but I will try my best to understand what you wanted to say. So you are saying that you have friends that are into gambling and if we are going to keep on gambling we have a chance of becoming rich? If that is what you are thinking, then for sure your an absolute addicted gambler and that's a shameful attitude because of the way you're thinking.

Your community seems so harsh on gambling, but that's true, if your community has implemented a law against gambling, then you should not violate it, it's for your own good.  Anyway, why be ashamed about it if you are not affecting other people? As long as you are doing your duty to your family and in real life, your gambling activity is not a problem.

As long as you are doing your duty to your family and in real life, your gambling activity is not a problem. 

Why would anyone think that gambling is a big deal and a problem for the community. We, as gamblers are controlling ourselves on how we behave when doing it, it is our responsibility to be matured so we will not lose a big amount that could change our life from better to worse. In fact, the only problem is gambling addiction but if we can prevent that from happening to us, it is alright to gamble as always.

In what country do you live? Yes that's why there are people who are shameful to let the other people know that they are gamblers because they can be considered as doers of crime. And you surely got maybe a big family and part of a prominent family. But I wanted to know if you are a gambler and you keep on gambling with bitcoin?

I am not ashamed of gambling, the only shame i exhibit is when i lose, i think of other things i could have used the money for but eventually i recoup my money and make even more profit. Its all about getting the money. Stock Brokers are all gamblers just like us.

But different people from different region facing different situations, for example in Muslim society one must feel shame as gambling in forbidden in Islam so if someone caught red handed the he will be put in prison and not only but his family and his friends will be feeling shame on them. Personally I never find myself ashamed for being a gambler.

this is one of the most factor that why people felt ashamed to admit that he is a gambler because they religion and as far as i know that almost all religion has forbidden to gamble but i think even some people felt ashamed become the gamblers but in fact they will still continue gamble but indeed they did that without being noticed by others people

in some country, playing gambling may prohibited and we got to go in jail but i know that people will trying to not get caught and they are playing gambling in internet and to do this, they use vpn to help them to cover their real IP. maybe you can try to playing gambling with vpn and you can do in your room without anyone will know what you do.

I don't think that's not a fair country, every government want to protect their citizen even sometimes their regulation can limited activity of their citizen, many gambler when they get addiction they do criminal to get money and spent in gambling, but i don't call gambler is a criminal, only who got addicted and losing mind. That's why government try to take the responsibility to protect their citizen.

I too never felt ashamed for being a gambler, but in Islams/Muslims community it is part of their tradition to maintain or make honor/good image to their family thus making one sin has a heavier impact on them than the other religion because they will not only cause shame to themselves but also to their family and sometimes they even go to the extremes by killing the sinner to reclaim the honor they have lost.

No, they are a fair country because they don't want their citizens to get into addiction of gambling. We can't blame their government if they are prohibiting gambling to their country. But still if bitcoin is not known to their country he can just gambling with bitcoins. So he can just keep on gambling with the use of bitcoin and he can't be traced out.

Let me remind you that online gambling is banned in some country. I don't know where you live so I can't confirm if online gambling or simply gambling isn't banned in your place. Marijuana is legal at some states/places but most people still look at it as a shameful thing to do. The same thing might be the case with gambling. You might not think that gambling is a shameful thing to do but it is to other people.

True, with online gambling we will be comfortable with our gambling activity since no one will know unless we will tell them. Moreover, bitcoin now is a good tool to hind our real identity and that gives us the freedom to gamble and we can do it anytime at our most convenient time.

I have my jobs and families and friends. i will be shameful if I borrow

By that, you could already tell that you fulfill your family's needs. No need to be shameful but I think we should never be proud about being a gambler, there is nothing about it that we could boast about in our selves.  Definitely never borrow any money just to be used in your gambling activity or do something that you know could put your life at risk and your reputation.
