Is because the name "Bitcoin" is the best name for a crypto-currency.
No other name will be as good.
I guess it is, but in truth I think that Bitcoin continues to rank first because it was the beginning of cyrpto-currencies. Only after Bitcoin was established did other Altcoins pop up. In other words, Bitcoin had a head-start, meaning it is more trusted and has a good reputation in the crypto-currency world. |

The reason is the market heavily relies on btc value.
Almost every altcoin exchange has btc as a form of trade, Just as fiat is bitcoins backing, bitcoin is altcoin backing.
When btc is dumped altcoins are going to be dumped an in fact you can see this when there is huge movements in btc.

I think one of the main reason why bitcoin is still number 1 digital currency was the price of it is tough high, and this is because the people community patronized it so well and gave it a high value compare to other altcoin/cryptocurrency.

Yes,prize does really indicates that it remains on the top spot since no one or coins would able to surpass it and if they do they will need a long time in able to catch up but i dont think theres a coin would matches bitcoins development but well who knows and there might be a coins would able to rise its price like bitcoin did. |

Actually users are anonymous but when it comes to the transactions. Each tx can be determined on where address did it came from. But however the whole bitcoin system is really a convenience to all of the people that doesn't want to pay big amount of taxes when sending big amount of money. So btc will always be #1 because of its freedom. |

In my thought, its not because Bitcoin is the name it means we are no.1. of course its not like that, probably it became no.1 because of its unique features for the users, and we know the uniqueness it has, in fact , we benefited it already at the present now. That's why bitcoin users increasing more.

The capability of self-updating and enhancing will be making bitcoin to be number one cryptocurrency always.
Yes, bitcoin will never get outdated as its developers will keep on eyeing to add new features to stay versatile all the times. We may face some delays in implementing them but time will ask for those update for its survival.

i agree that the name bitcoin is attractive and catchy.. but i dont think so that names matters so much or it gives a hard impact.. for me, the success of a coin will always on the hardwork of the developers. if they do nothing or stop doing for its improvement then a cpin will turn to shits coins. thats what happens to most coins actually..

If BU is successful at forking it will be not number 1 anymore for sure as BTC would be nothing more than Paypal 2.0, another alt would update SW, LN and stay small block and highly decentralized. |
