The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1

Because it was the first one, at least that's what I remember. I'm not even familiar with alts and more so on the technical details of each crypto (I couldn't even wrap my head around the basics of a blockchain). But one thing I'm quite sure is that when people think of crypto, they think bitcoin. Heck, they probably even heard of bitcoin first than cryptocurrency, just like me. Bitcoin is a pioneer and started this trend and so have a massive head-start against the other cryptos, especially with regards to adoption and actual use in transactions. Looking around here it seems that alts only exist to either smokescreen the movement of bitcoin (like this Monero they like to talk about) or for trading in exchanges. Maybe that's why they're called alts -- they're just bitcoin alternative.

No one know if bitcoin will be always the number one cryptocurrency but It has triumph the other altcoins consitently over the past few years and I think its because it is the first one to be successful . We all know that the time of existence is important in cryptocurrency right? . And of course include its features .

Since Bitcoin is the first one to be mass adopted, the popularity of its name goes along with its feature.  If the creator use other name than Bitcoin then Op will no be saying that name (Bitcoin) but the name given by the creator.  Being Pioneer and accepted as it is, the name just had gotten popular because of this else if it is not accepted instead Doge is accepted and number one, Doge will be a music to the supporters ears.

It's not the name which makes bitcoin number one, of course. It's not it's value or hype either, it's simply because of block chain technology. Bitcoin initially introduced block chain, which can create revolutions in many fields, that's why it became this popular.

I think the name is irrelevant to the reason why bitcoin is number 1, there are a lot of cooler name from alt coins, the reason why bitcoin is number one is because it is the first digital currency, and now bitcoin got a lot of user which makes it stronger and becoming the number 1 crypto currency
