1. It is the defacto and the founder which gives it intrinsic value.
2. It is the most popular and will just continue to be that way.

It is insane to see why a coin that is flawed as much as Bitcoin be as popular because its a founding coin.

I don’t see why you think it is insane for this to happen, even if we admit there are some problems with bitcoin, just look at the music industry, have you heard the garbage they are producing, the music is very bad or look at Hollywood and the horrible movies and yet, they are making a lot of money and its popular, so what you are describing happens everywhere not only in bitcoin.

yes very nice, i think these are enough proof to show that bitcoin is number currency of the world and will always remain as number one currency. i think on more reason is that the new generation trend is toward online shopping and trading, etc, they are now establishing online business, so they are giving more preference to bitcoin because bitcoin is the first ever coin created as online currency.
