Bitcoin would be always number one because no altcoin could able to break even its position now and all altcoin are just following bitcoin and depending on the value of bitcoin and also its the father of all cryptocurrency which will normally comes to our mind that it is on the top for now.
I would not be so sure that any other crypto currency not replace bitcoin one day. Bitcoin is limited by the number of 21 millions and it's impossible to it would be enough for all people who wants to get it. Maybe one day in the case of huge price bitcoin will be the most expansive currency, but there will be many other crypto currencies that will be more useful and that's why more popular. |

Is because the name "Bitcoin" is the best name for a crypto-currency.
No other name will be as good.
I think there is a lot more better name but bitcoin will always be the number 1 , because of all the people who uses it or trusted it . |

Normally before you get something that involves money, The name is the last thing that you will consider. Not everyone has huge money to spent so people are being cautious these days. They will not risk their money just because it has a good name. Bitcoin has a lot to offer and I hope people will notice that especially you OP. It's popularity, Increasing Price, Decentralized and many more. |

I think people will always find a cooler name than bitcoin, but the reason why Bitcoin is number one because of being the pioneer of cryptocurrency and being adopted by majority of population of cryptocurrency. And that is also the reason why Bitcoin is almost the best name for cryptocurrency. I think so, the first one will be always the leader in cryptocurrency world which people trust it with all of the advantages offered. Another coins will be always far behind bitcoin, because people invest in altcoins in order to expect profits by convert it into bitcoin, traders do it every day. It's simply because people trust bitcoin beneficial for them and won't fail as time already prove it. |

My main reason for that is bitcoin quality.Bitcoin quality is so perfect because of that it can replace fiat very easy but we cant predict that when it will happent correctly only guess.I like bitcoin name I dont know why to change something about bitcoin when everything is so perfect.

I think part of the reason bitcoin is great is because of its finite number, unlike fiat money, which you can just print over and over. I think that is what is going to give more value to bitcoin, given that it is something that is sort of limited. By the time all the bitcoins have been mined, I would imagine that the price has stabilized at a very good price. |

it does have connotations. there are some extremely stupid names for alts out there that do them no favors. anyway i reckon bitcoin will always be number one is because it started from nothing with zero expectations. that can never, ever be replicated by any other crypto. |

Reason right? show me a real legit, stable, supported by hundreds of thousands in community alternative, this is really simple Satoshi didn't want a quick cash grab, he did it with love and idealism intentions. though BTC is the best until it's not. other devs act like they own the coin lol.

When banks begin to use it without any problems, when it can pay off in any Cafe world. Or in many cafes, at least. |

Maybe you are right maybe people have lost faith in their governments and they are staring to switch to using bitcoin in order to be the ones who controls their money, but we can’t lie to ourselves that we cannot stop using fiat because that is what the government is using in order to supply us with food and other services, my point is that we use fiat because we have to not because we want to. |

Tradings and other altcoins uses bitcoin. Currency has there own territory, in fiat, USD is more dominant but in the crypto world we have bitcoin as the number 1. I guess that way will remain even in the future, they will continue to progress as we continue to support them. |

I won't say that bitcoin will always remain number 1 but yes it will remain number 1 for the long term. Any altcoin might come up with huge market cap and large community so it's not impossible kind of thing. However bitcoin as a early player of the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, it is difficult for altcoins to compete with bitcoin as of now.

When we come to the topic of cryptocurrency we always take example of bitcoin and then alt coins. even when we explain cryptocurrency to noob then also we take example of bitcoin. And we know bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrencies and alt coin without bitcoin is worthless because not mnay website/store accept alt coin first we have to convert those alt coins to notion out other cryptocurrency like USD then only we can use it.○
