There are many coins that has a good sound to its name and more cooler than the name of bitcoin. DASH is a good coin to it is third next to bitcoin and ethereum. But setting aside the name, the reason why bitcoin is in the top 1 cryptocurrency list is not just because of the capital that was showered upon bitcoin but the trust and confidence of bitcoin users and holders that keep supporting it over the years.

True, a big number of the bitcoin users have only started using only for one reason and that is because of its high price, and the more the price goes up the more popular it gets and I don’t think that at any time the bitcoin is going to be replaced even if the price goes down, because there will be people always believing in it.

True, a big number of the bitcoin users have only started using only for one reason and that is because of its high price, and the more the price goes up the more popular it gets and I don’t think that at any time the bitcoin is going to be replaced even if the price goes down, because there will be people always believing in it.

Price is one of the reason why bitcoin is on the top and that is why also users or people are getting into bitcoin because they see a bright future for the bitcoin by just basing on the price history on candlestick chart. But i do believe that the main reason for bitcoin for being on the top one is the trust of the investors that are still in bitcoin because you can see the volume of money that invested in bitcoin so i think the trust of people is the main reason why.

The popularity of bitcoin made cause of it's was the new thing and first thing in the area of crypto currencies. However perfect the ideas gets evolved, bitcoin won't bow down to other digital currencies as every coin existed based on bitcoin's technology. Eth and dash too getting stronger, but this doesn't mean that it takes lead of bitcoin and grab the first position in the digital world.

It should and it's a must thing to happen.

If bitcoin will reached a failure and dead coin status then so on with the idea of people using cryptocurrency in their preferred own ways. Many people will not be hooked now in using another cryptocurrency since it's hard to believe that even bitcoin was being supported now from most of the people globally and usage of it is really active, still bitcoin become dead.

And if that is the case, it will also be experienced by those altcoins.

Bitcoin = dead that will actually take lot of time maybe by 2060 or something. It is for sure by 2022 or something all bitcoins will fully be mined but many people are just gonna hold it till 2030 and then after that we will see the price is growing at a really low rate amd mostly by 2050 it will be dead.

Bitcoin to die by 2050 is not gonna happen. Because technology is given preference by companies around the world compared to bitcoin, so surely it will survive long. Among cryptocurrencies bitcoin is the one with the increased capital and next to it ETH is gaining more acceptance and capital is increasing gradually.

I agree that bitcoin is growing but I hope you are aware that bitcoin has a system which allows only 21 million bitcoins to be mined. So if you see the statistics till now around 16million or something is already mined so after all bitcoins are mined what it will stay around for a while and mostly people will start selling.

That's surely a puzzle for us because we do not know what will really happen, the recent big price fallback is very alarming but guess what I'm still holding my bitcoins and I will not panic like the others are doing.

I believe it will be back to normal and since there is no relevant news that I have read on why the price fall that big, then I would assume it's just normal and just focus on the future to come. As long as we are monitoring the price and the relevant news, we can always make a decision that is based on our evaluation and I know we differ on that matter.

Bitcoin has already become the brand synonymous with digital currently and all other are indeed just alternative coins. If the price goes back to $750 like the previous happening with PBoC, that's kind of alarming, but not really. You shouldn't be alarmed about the price at all since you know that we will eventually pick up later. What you should be alarmed of is the news about bitcoins, but at the moment, there's nothing alarming at all.

[2] Probably some panic sellers are the reason behind this price decrease. Panic sellers always find a lame reason to panic sell. "Oh, I've read a post about bitcoin ETF not getting accepted. I don't even know if it's reliable/credible, but I'm still selling my coins."
