The reason Bitcoin will always be number one is because nothing beats the original. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency which makes it the "Mother of All Digital Coins". It will be the basis of the other coins that will exists in the market and will always look up to Bitcoin.
You can't be sure about that . The saying nothing beats the original isn't applicable to anything . On the contrary, most people prefer the better version or the 2.0 rather than the 1.0 . Bitcoin is facing many problems right now like the fees and the confirmation time . The only thing that's undefeatable about bitcoin right now is its popularity which in my opinion in a few years we can see some good competition about it and altcoins . You should also watch the charts how they are improving . |

Everyone is behind the bitcoin now also. Some of the rate people who do trading altcoin. It would not work at all due to altcoin stability is lesser than the bitcoin. Even now also bitcoin has been good to save it. As price increases continuously on the chart, still we will get the high range of adoption over bitcoin and price will also increase for sure. |

Is because the name "Bitcoin" is the best name for a crypto-currency.
No other name will be as good.
Bitcoin wil be and always be number 1 because it has been tried and tested through out the time. Having witnesses of people together with the things they have brought as a proof that Bitcoin is true. I agree that it has had the most initial success in penetrating into the mainstream. Even then I think a very small % of the population is involved with Bitcoin. And although it's possible that it will remain the top cryptocurrency, it's not guaranteed by any means. If any other cryptocurrency is strategically adopted as a payment system for corporations, or accepted and regulated by government, it would have mass adoption and possibly surpass bitcoin. Who knows what will happen 5 or 10 or 15 years from now. |

2) This is master currency or we can say Prime currency of Crypto World, as every altcoins value can be determined in BTC and its units.
3) Bitcoin have Highest market cap and can be exchanged to Fiat currency globally.
These reasons will keep Bitcoin Always top.

Everybody thinks bitcoin will always be #1. Bitcoin was only the first wave. Remember when there were a lot of little video stores? That was the first wave. Then came blockbuster video and crushed them all. Dont think its not going to happen to bitcoin one of these years. When ZEC reaches 1 billion market cap, they will have $20 billion to invest in marketing because they hold 20%. ANd nobody is paying attention.

I disagree. These are reasons why Bitcoin became nr 1 not reasons it could stay nr 1. If you try fo a moment look into future than you will realise that bitcoin at some point won't be anymore the most innovative cryptocurrency anymore. Yet it might still stay cryptogold, universal currency for keeping your savings from inflation. It won't be universal payment method, or best programmable money, or best platform for microtransactions. It will loose in these any many more categories because of it's stiffness. Bitcoin will be just universal standard in world full of valuable, vital cryptocurrencies. Also each actual top 2 cryptocurrency will be trying at some point to break this forced intermidiation of bitcoin in money flow between fiats and this crypto. That's simply is the only way to bit bitcoin and get nr 1 place itself. But in terms of value i guess there won't be anything what could bit it in short and in long term. Only some people still doesn't see that future of bitcoin is being perfect longterm store of value like gold, because most of volatility comes from undervaluation of bitcoin. |

If somebody says they think bitcoin wont be number one, everybody hates them. But from a practical standpoint logic dictates that it wont be forever. We owe bitcoin and Nakamoto a huge debt for creating bitcoin and our industry and they will go down in history. But sooner or later something will replace bitcoin. |

While that is a problem you must not forget there is already a solution the only problem is that nothing has been approved yet but as soon as that happens the problem will go away and when that happens bitcoin will go even higher than it is now. |

While that is a problem you must not forget there is already a solution the only problem is that nothing has been approved yet but as soon as that happens the problem will go away and when that happens bitcoin will go even higher than it is now. Anything can happen in the future but if we think on bitcoins it is actually unreplaceable .Bitcoin is the most popular with the most use in the world so it will be so hard to replace unless bitcoin dies for any reason . Those unconfirmed transaction have a solution and it is normal because of having so many transactions going in and out . |

Yes it is not about the name of the coin that attracts people to invest because it is all about the features and the price and if the have that high price then it will attract a lot of attention from other people in the crypto world plus if its have a great features then people will surely follow that coin and buy some of that coin for investment. |
