It is the first cryptocurrency created and other cryptocurrency are jist a copy of what is bitcoin.. Bitcoin is really have an a successful high price value market and still increasing its price in a high rate and can be a really good investment for everyone so better if you invested earlier.

It is because a bitcoin is a good investment and most investors want to invest and trade in bitcoin. Because bitcoin is most popular and many people like in bitcoin. Many people believe the important of bitcoin in our lives and needs. Bitcoin is a demand and trusted currency that's why people wants
and interested.
Why people wants a high fee coin where there's a lot of altcoin offering better situation? Lower fee , faster transaction proccess etc , people want all of them. And it seems bitcoin getting outdated if the stakeholders did not make an action to fix the current problem , bitcoin could be no longer be the number 1. |

To believe that bitcoin will always be #1 is nothing more than a matter of faith without solid foundations.
It is to close the door to the development of new technologies that in the near future could reveal the weaknesses of bitcoin to displace it.
So I believe bitcoin will always be valuable and useful, but I'm not so sure that it will always preserve its current hegemony forever.

Bitcoin is the first of cryptocurrency, I think the reason bitcoin will always be #1 because another cryptocurrency, fact that altcoin use and accept bitcoin when ICO, so the price will increase, and this year is many ICO: https://tokenmarket.net/ico-calendar and of course use bitcoin. Being the first gives you and advantage but it does not guarantee your success, you need to keep innovating or you are going to be left behind, just look at the betamax vs vhs, or myspace vs facebook, there are many instances of the first technology being replaced by something better even when it had such a head start, so bitcoin needs to keep improving if we want bitcoin to retain that position. |

Acouple of years back a man buys $27 of bitcoin, forgets about them, finds they're now worth $886k and currently a Japanese woman was pushed to invested into bitcoin due to the near-zero
interest rates on their personal savings accounts/serious shortfall in their national pension. Bitcoin will always be # 1 because bitcoin give the world hope to survive and everybody loves to make money.

it does not make any sense. Is dollar the mother of all currency? We know that dollar can be considered as one of the old currency but it is never a mother of all currency and up to now, no currency can compare with dollar because many people are using this currency for many purposes |

Also, tens of thousands of vendors accept Bitcoin, and there are hundreds of ATMs around which dispense BTCs. For any of the alts to reach this stage, it is going to take ages. |

Yes, the trust score for Bitcoin by the users is too high, altcoins can show some potential, as recently Ethereum, LTC and few others are rising, but still its connected to Bitcoin. Moreover Bitcoin is a parent to all the alts, and the height it reached will really take time for the alts. |

No doubt bitcoin is no. 1 cryptocurrency so far but i don't think so that the name has any impact on its popularity and success, may be now it seems that bitcoin is the best name than any other because its name is stuck in our mind. The major reasons why bitcoin is at no. 1 because its marketing was perfect due to which many cryptocurrency users buy it.
