No other name will be as good.

The reason why bitcoin is always number one is because of the architecture, implementation, innovation and the best of all is the community, we are really a lot and this is a good part.

While this is all true, don't forget "too big to fail" was the cry before the sub-prime mortgage collapse (and the housing market in general) around 2008 in the USA. As long as it remains an acceptable medium of exchange, and consensus regarding its value remains strong, it will retain its worth.

Can't say that bitcoin is going to be always the first one because there are many other altcoins that have maybe better developers but they just need a bigger community that support them and their goals to be more and more successful in their journey. Bitcoin is good but it can become better if more big services like ebay amazon and other big shops can accept bitcoin directly or indirectly.

One thing is true that most people around the world doesn't consider bitcoin to be the number one currency of all time, because very small percentage of people in each country is aware of bitcoin and digital currency. In terms of crypto currencies, bitcoin is the number 1 in all part of the world, some does not even know that altcoins has existed. It's number because of our support, not just the system that make it number because it can easy be duplicated if one will do it. This will continue to be number 1 and we have been seeing now how the adoption rate has increased.

I think it do not depend the name but it depend on the features and the trust on it. It is the first cryptocurrency coming to the internet and then people started to use it and then they knew that it is the most secure currency out of all other coins and so it is still No.1

The name is marked to our minds but for others it like "What is that?" It is not the name for most but its usage. Do you really even care what is the name now? As long as it does its job making people anonymous and convenience to others who do transaction internationally then that is what really makes it number 1. That is the real big mark that will last.

It's the number one because it's the original, others are called altcoins and they won't be called that name without the original. It is the leading now in terms of volume because more people trusted bitcoins and I am one of them. I am already seeing a great success of bitcoin and it will certainly help us to be profitable if we make this as our passion.

If BU is successful at forking it will be not number 1 anymore for sure as BTC would be nothing more than Paypal 2.0, another alt would update SW, LN and stay small block and highly decentralized.

Considerint the amount of SegWit nodes in comparison to BU, BU never succeed, It can only forks and become another alt. So Bitcoin remains number 1
