Pool is up again  Grin

it has been up the whole time, IF you were connected to x.x.x.101
all my clients that were directly connected to x.x.x.74 were having issues

please don't show IP addresses in full. Wink board is searchable via google.

No one has has any issues showing IPs here. Why would this be a problem? Even the pool operaters reference IPs at times. There is no secret.

LOL too few?

I have to amuse myself somehow. Smiley

I don't really get the constant obsession with people trying to figure out if they are getting the correct reward.
I guess I understand that for many people this is something they have invested a lot of money in to and they want a return.
But, since I am just doing it for fun I generally just trust that this pool has been around long enough that the payouts are going to be accurate and that should something go wrong, the pool operator will make it right.

This is a rather basic question that does not really belong into this thread. You also failed to provide details on which product you mean. Please check here before posting the next question: http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

I assume you are not talking about BFL minirig, but other products. They are connected to a computer via USB and you need a mining software on the computer to use them. The mining software communicates with the pool over the network (or with bitcoind when mining solo), and uses the BFL hardware to solve cryptographic tasks. The BFL hardware is not aware of what protocol your software uses, it just crunches numbers as directed by the software. You should check which protocols are supported by the mining software of your choice. You will find that both stratum and getwork are supported by practically all the miners.

Make sure you read up on the topic - you could save yourself some frustration/headache.

Cheers,
   T

What is the problem with all those invalid blocks lately? Do we have to do them again? Where are those coins then?
