This is why I keep going back to the Guild. They have the performance charts and info that I need to see. While other pools can easily add this info for their pools they do not, which makes me think something is always going on. I'll never trust a low fee / free free pool.

Considering the current value of a coin, these btc cents that are mysteriously disappearing into thin air are no longer trivial; not especially to me as my hashing rate is relatively slow and it takes me an awful long time to accumulate them.  Multiply these btc cents with the number of miner accounts in the pool...I leave this to everybody's imagination.  And speaking of which, there's really no total number of miners/accounts in Slush's stats, is there?

Simple answer:- "don't leave any coins in your account", it only takes a few seconds to change your withdrawal amount.
If you don't like or trust the pool(any pool not just this one) then move. The choice is out there.

BTc donations welcome:-  13c2KuzWCaWFTXF171Zn1HrKhMYARPKv97

Concerning missing bitcoins...check the stats page for invalid blocks.  If you have a good chunk of possible bitcoin but the block is invalid then you don't get that reward.  I've seen my possible balance drop substantially them looked at the stats page only to see multiple invalid blocks.

I was wondering the same thing. A few times this week I saw my accumulated return drop by a few 0.0x btc. These weren't unconfirmed, these were confirmed for payout.

I have also noticed this same problem very recently. Any ideas why so many invalids all of a sudden ??

block 267277 with a value of 37.2971608 .... what could be the reason? someone paying high fees for a transfer?

I just noticed, one of my miners found this block. My first block ever! I started in May with 10 Mh/s. Now i have 130 Gh/s with 40Gh/s on Slush Pool. Cheesy

I've seen that last a while before as well...it will fix itself before the block confirmation/payout.

We've had a bad run of luck for a few days....let's see some luck balance soon.
Everyone pray to Satoshi to make it rain.

Eventually i received totally nothing

And that is not nice Sad it costs me power to do those 78k shares

The only other thing I can think of, because it's happened to me, is that  my miner went down near the end of the round and causes all my work to be worthless...but your score is next to the share count...

What is 100% luck on Slush's Pool? One block every 2 or 2 1/2 hours or so? How do you figure that out? I assume it's  the same on any pool, of course...

The difficulty is now 390928787, if we have found the block with less than 390928787 shares submitted our luck is over 100% and it depends on the pool speed in how many hours it will have those shares

Because your submitted shares over that time period are so low and you probably didn't hit any at near the end of the block.  Slush's pool makes you the most when you hit shares right before a block is found because of the way that the scoring works.  It's happened to me before, when my miner died and I didn't notice because I was at work.  Managed to reset it remotely, but the lack of submitted shares over that down time and a block getting solved means your score drops down.  I am assuming that your shares are the 14, 4, 3, and 19 numbers.  You may either want to upgrade to ASICs or, if you're usings GPUs mine litecoin or novacoin.

I see, very interesting. This is also why it's important for us (Slush) to keep adding hashrate, yes?

Thanks for replying!
