guys, it of a newb here, apologies but I cant find an answer to this anyway

what do these two things mean

and this

thanks
Steve

Stats under Accepted and Stale -- the first number is total since the current instance of guiminer started on that miner, and the number in parentheses is the total in last hour.

For the verification thing, here's a quote from an old post in another subforum that may pertain to your problem.

I had the same problem today getting the "verification failed" message on 13.2 drivers and then having guiminer and every other miner crash on start up after switching to older drivers.

What I did was uninstall all AMD software/drivers, reboot and install catalyst 13.1 drivers.

Then I followed the steps listed here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=359883 and now it's working fine.

The minimum payout threshold used to be 0.01 BTC, however the FAQ now says 0.05 BTC.  This is why people including me thought that automatic payouts are not happening.
This is higher threshold unfair to most of us, who are small miners and would take a week or more to get to this threshold.  Slush, please go back to the original minimum threshold of 0.01.

Unable to log into the site since the captcha thingy was added.  Anyone else having an issue?

Nevermind, seems to work again.

I agree - and did not notice the change Sad
It will take me almost a week before I get a payout.

So?

It takes me a month before I get my paycheck, and I have to work upfront too!

.01 payout was working forever up in-till yesterday. There was no notice of the change.
Nothing at all mentioned on the quick update section.
Pretty shady if you ask me. I already moved all my miners.

My payout isn't happening since last maintenance, has been set to 0.015 and I'm at 0.035 (confirmed) now... please investigate. Moving to Eligius till this is sorted.

Edit: Payout recieved. Also though the JSON tables are borked, it says I have 0 active miners even though I clearly see that's not the case, so 3rd party apps can't report hashrates.

For all, my payout just came in good day late, but it's here. As for 0.01 threshold, I'm wondering why system would still allow me to input 0.01 when that's below minimum? Either way, don't care about the minimum because payout is payout whether it's in a day or a month.

Try setting it to .01.  I read somewhere (probably in this thread) that .01 is the new minimum and that the FAQ just hasn't been updated yet.

Is there a way you could add a instant payout option? I mined on this pool for a few months and have 0.033 BTC on the pool but with the current rates it would take me over a month to get it to the minimum 0.05 BTC in order to get the coins out.  Would rather not lose that $30 or so...

Even if you charge a .01 fee or something that would be fine.  Something is better than nothing.

I did set it to that just in case.  The FAQ also said every 15 minutes.  I waited longer than 15 minutes and nothing happened before I posted here.

However I just checked and it has cashed me out.  Looking up my wallet now to see if it showed up now.

Anyone?  Can you tell me what the advantages are pooling with Slush compared with someone like Bitminter?   These two seem to be the leaders.

Not sure what you mean by leaders.  Neither of them are even in the Top 3 by hashrate/users.  They're both good pools, just really curious what you actually mean with "leaders".

Juniper is the name of the GPU used in 5700 / 5800 series cards so it's pointing to the video card. Hardware errors on GPU's are almost always an issue of using the wrong video card driver / OpenCL implementation. There are many recent ATi (AMD) builds that do not include the proper drivers / OpenCL libraries.
