Only thing better than a beer is a free beer, enjoy Smiley I am fairly new to this (less than a year) but am hoping it is failover or testing miners either way if won't jump the difficulty too much if that is the case. If not I guess I'll just continue to chase the hashing demon till common sense finally prevails or the "boss" draws a line in the sand. May the "Hashing Gods" smile on all of us here.

What the heck has happened to Eligius?

I tried mining there for a week a while back and the pool gave me the creeps.  I don't know why, but I didn't trust it for some reason.

I wonder if others have gotten the same vibe.

Go Slush!

My question has still not been answered. I think I will take it over to the Bitcoin thread.

All I wanted to know was what percentage the difficulty increased.

Plain and simple.
Didn't need all the other stuff but thanks, I guess.  Roll Eyes
So, if anyone has the answer to my very basic question, that would be sweet.

Otherwise, yeah...happy mining.

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

scroll down - you will see % increases over time...

[edit] or you could work on your basic google search ability - "bitcoin difficulty increases" - Smiley

Phat! Next jump estimate is now at 23%. I noticed Antminer S1's are in the low $200 range now on ebay. F-that, those will be lucky to return $100 between now and when they cost more to run than produce.

To converse.. it says i found 6 blocks on this pool yesterday.. It would be nice if there was a block finder bonus.. but can't be greedy!

AnthonyCares,
Nice going, if you don't mind me asking how much hashing power are you running?

Thanks, I was just curious. I am running 3486Gh/s and still haven't found a block and I have been here since February this year. It is showing that on your main account page? Not doubting that is just some fantastic luck.

I doubt very much that you found 6 blocks in one day, especially with 30 GH/s, it is more likely that our pool found 6 blocks that day and you are misreading the information.

my payout has dramatically decreased by half due to high hash rate. I just wanted to make sure this is the norm. in score system
