What is your "Power Control" setting in Catalyst Control Center?  It's under Performance->AMD Overdrive.

Just wanted to say hi. Moved one of my smaller rigs over to Bitminter to try it out. I like where you're going with this. It is a 6950 with a ..slight.. overclock. I'm seeing almost EXACTLY the same M/H as I did with guiminer/poclbm ~378 Mhps.

Will check out the IRC channel see if I can catch anyone there.

I had manually set it to +20%--but forgot that when setting up Afterburner I accidentally left it disabled  Embarrassed   Thanks for the tip Smiley

It does have quite a sleek look though, doesn't it?

Yesterday i installed bitminter on 4 machines. So far they are running quite stable, software does what it says......
I do have a question though, when do they pay out to my tradehill account?
Is there a delay in payment?

You have to wait until the blocks are confirmed.  I think it takes about a day after the block was found to reach the 130 (I think?) confirmations. You can view progress here:
https://bitminter.com/blocks

Also, bitminter is still a fairly small pool, we dont find blocks every hour or so  like some of the bigger pools, so there is much bigger variability. Sometimes we find several blocks per day (like yesterday) sometimes we find nothing for as long as a week. If no blocks are found, there is nothing to be paid out. On the bright side, you do get paid substantially more per block obviously Smiley Even on average due to the running promotion and low fees.

BTW, welcome aboard Smiley

Oh also, I just looked up your stats
phunixx    0.00%    0.00079908 BTC

There is a threshold for payments, you wouldnt have reached that yet. Not sure because this is because you are running rather slow machines (no cpu mining I hope?) or because of the new PPLNS payout system where you get paid for your average contributions on the last 10 shifts. If you only joined yesterday you wouldnt have completed 10 shifts yet. Give it some time.

I've recently (as in yesterday) started mining. I chose this pool as I have been lurking in the forums for awhile and like what I have read. My next step will be tweaking my PC settings.
So, hello to all of you and good mining!

Hi guys.

I'm yet another newbie to the mining biz, and this pool seemed like a good enough place to get started. ( Simple yet apparently efficient client was a nice touch ).

While I can only bring in consistently some ~0.1 Ghps ( HD4800 series tad underclocked ), spending my CPU and GPU budget here seems better than having one spinning
in idle loop and another doing practically nothing for hours on end as my computer is on practically always.

Obviously not expecting much in a way of "profit" from this, but the with the potentially deflationary nature of BC... You'll never know.

Hopefully the pool will grow with time.

Just wanted to comment that I tried using the miner again after some time of switching between different servers and whatever you have managed to update the program with it's working Smiley I am not getting very minimal stales, even less then 1% before i got about 10%. So just wanted to say congrats on making your miner a lot more efficient at least for me.

Welcome to the team! You should be aware that your computer will pull more electricity when making bitcoins than it does when idling. But then again, idling doesn't get you any bitcoins.  Grin

Thanks, that is good to hear. I just released a beta version with some new improvements for lower stales. You may want to check that out too. Smiley I currently have 26811 accepted and 11 rejected proofs of work with that version.

Details are in the miner thread.

Heh, not to worry.
I have measured the computer itself without displays, sucking up some 325 Watts max while doing the deed.
As an added bonus, it actually gives me more time to study instead of wasting endless hours on gaming.

Choice between studying while it mines vs gaming while it... well... wastes watts is quite a no-brainer for me Tongue
( A true win/win scenario if there ever was one )

^^ agreed! Not going to be preordering BF3 after all.

A remote restart feature would be cool, not sure if that's available as I haven't tried this pool/miner yet. Looking forward to testing it out on Sunday.

Hey guys. I decided to join this pool! I'm getting around 84 Mhps for a GTX 295 and an i7. Is this worth it or no?

Definitely. If you have free electricity and good warranty.
Otherwise, probably not.
