Why is DMS.whateverthefuck being discussed in this thread?

Just wondering how AM will respond to such competition.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Pretty decent I say. Expecting a little higher, but this clearly shows the GB payments haven't been included in this. There's atleast 4000 BTC worth of GB on the front page of hardware->group buy section for this past week.

well, the blades profits are obviously not in there, which means next week should be great.

how are you sure the blade profits are not in there? what's the math behind this?

the reasoning being that the group buy wallets still have funds, and haven't closed, yet

it might include some blade sales, but certainly not all that are out there.

Blades were announced for sale on Sunday, so that's just 3 days, anyways.  I doubt that's enough time to get every paid and shipped on FC's end.

Hmm... I kind of assumed that the resellers would buy from AM and then resell (hence it is a "re" sell). Do you think that AsicMiner is only getting the profits after the customer buys a blade from the reseller?

I think resellers have minimum orders, and those funds are released to the dividends once those orders are shipped.  I don't know how many units have been shipped, but I doubt everything has shipped out.

This - I think that only a small part of the hardware sale funds are in yet so far. We'll have to wait 1-2 weeks before they're actually sent to the div wallet I guess...

The group buys should get their orders in this weekend, and I expect the first round of reseller orders to be shipped by this weekend.  So, it is possible that next week's dividend has all of those sales in it, but it may just have resellers, and then the next week will have the group buy.

Or, at least, that's what I'm guessing.

In any case, next week's dividend should be good, and the week after even better.

It is likely that they are pushing stock-on-hand into the mine rather than trying to sell it (obv new blades coming in a few weeks).

If you follow the wallet address (from this past week's GB) from both CannaryInTheMine and Sonic, it seems that they got close to ~4000 BTC, while they sent out only a small portion of that to FC. I was able to easily follow Cannary's out going transaction to FC's dividend sending address. There was only 1500 BTC sent from Cannary out of approx. 3500 collected so far.

I think you are on the right track, next week we should have most if not all of the HW sales in. I doubt we'll se a single large payout instead multiple of 0.027 - 0.033 payouts

why would they break it into smaller payouts like that?

In the past, FC only used funds once the items have shipped.

No idea. If I were to guess, maybe it is based on delivery (i.e. 50% now, 50% when the GB items ship).

there's not much sell pressure at the current prices.  I haven't seen many buy orders get filled today.  Are people waiting for a bump with the larger dividends this week?
