I have been using this line to run my Gridseeds and DualMiners at 850 but I want to take the two Gridseeds to 1125 as they are volt modded but leave my DualMiners at 850.  Anyone have a similar string?
Current argument.
Quote
d dualminer:all --scrypt --set-device gridseed:clock=850

5 Chip Gridseeds are com 35 and com 36
1 Chip DualMiners are on com 18 and com 27

Thanks for the help.

I am using the newest.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ddrw1rc7jjtiqs/bfgminer_gridseed_pr3.7z
I just cannot remember how to specify com ports for the argument line so I can overclock each one individually.
They are running great as is but the 5 chip units are volt modded to go higher.  They both tested stable at 1125.
Thanks

This line should work:
Code:
dualminer:all --scrypt --set-device gridseed:clock=850 --set-device dualminer:clock=850 --set-device gridseed@\\.\COM35:clock=1125 --set-device gridseed@\\.\COM36:clock=1125
Beware that mixing frequencies makes bfgminer not so reliable.

That is true.  BFG has been better in the v4 releases with this instability it seems though.  I will keep an eye on it.
It is still better than cgminer for so many miners.  I cannot keep my OneString miners running stably on cgminer no matter what system or settings.  I am looking forward to BFG support for them so much.
Thanks I appreciate the argument.  I will let you know how it goes.

So far the argument is working great.  Thanks again.

Does anyone have any exp with Yellow Jackets based on the nanofury?
I have one to test out for a couple days and it detects and sets up on a COM with no problems.  It will not detect in BFG or MM.
I went through several threads and found no solution so far that worked.

Do you have an Intensity set in the scrypt argument line under Advanced Miner Settings?
Also, make sure the "Set Dynamic Intensity based on computer use" checkbox is NOT selected and under Advanced Application Settings.
If you are entering your own Thread concurrency and/or Core/Memclock settings then make sure the checkbox next to "Automatically Set GPU mining environment variables" is NOT cecked.
Sometimes I get better performance using the "auto-tune" feature but that all varies with the hardware.

What GPU are using?

Hope that helps.

Hi,
Yes I have an Intensity set up, and when I am not using the computer it's on 13. The clock modification happens in the middle of nothing actually, I am not even at home I just check the log and see it after.  However the "Automatically Set GPU mining environment" was checked, so I unchecked it, will see how it goes thanks.
I am using a R9 280X, here is the command line :
Code:
-I 13 --auto-fan --temp-target 65 --temp-overheat 80 --thread-concurrency 11200 -w 256 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1025 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune -20 -E 5 --scan-time 1 -Q 0 --lookup-gap 2

Also, I noticed that the miner is supposed to mine the most profitable coin on Coinchoose, but most of the time when I force the miner to mine dogecoin for instance, the profit in USD is higher, regardless of the profitability on Coinchoose. How come? It seems that these days the coin that profits the most is DogeCoin (~$2,7/day according to multiminer) whilst the miner usually mines GoldCoin (~$1,4/day) or BottleCaps (~$0,8/day) because on Coinchoose they have better profitability. I don't understand that. Multiminer should always mine DogeCoin as it brings more USD shouldn't it?

Try this config yo...my R9 270s are hashing @450+ kh/s & 67deg with this config

--thread-concurrency 12800 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1500 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 70 --gpu-fan 40-100 --auto-fan -g 1 -I 19 -w 256

Not sure what "-E 5 --scan-time 1 -Q 0" are used for and I don't use Powertune either. As far as profitability goes, someone else might know more/better than myself as I don't even use the coin-switching option in MM.

What hash rate do you get with that argument line?
I have 2 Sapphire 280X's that are stuck at 479 kh/s and I have been trying everything.  I had a XFX 280X that had the same results.  I cannot get any cards in the system to go over 479 kh/s.

Hi, I have been using multiminer since last night, but I noticed that the miner 'plays' with my engine clock and memclock :

You can see that it goes from 1025Ghz (my settings) to as low as 300Ghz, then eventually goes back to 1025 again later. How come? It changes voltage, and hashrate aswell. Does it come from Multiminer or the miner itself? (BFGminer). I wanted to use cgminer as I know this one but is it possible to make Multiminer use it? I guess it is but I didn't find how to do it...
Sorry for my bad english.

It would be great to somehow find out which coin was most profitable overall.

For example, for a few weeks Androids Tokens (ADT) was obviously the most profitable coin overall when compared to Bitcoins. To take advantage of its profitability ratio to Bitcoins I had to mine ADT, sell my ADT to Litecoins, and then quickly sell my Litecoins for Bitcoins.

Hay so to start I love this product.  I was pulling my hair out trying to get the mining_proxy.exe working with ghash....   but once i installed this MM things went a lot smoother...   So here's my question.  and i know it was covered earlier in the post but I couldnt figure out what file i should edit and what to use to edit it...   I have an Antminer S1, 4 30GH/s Block Erupters (The Cubes), as well as an Avalon 2. Now everything shows up in MM except the Avalon 2.  It is a set Ip and just never shows up....   Also the S1 shows up under Network but is not controllable from MM  is only reports that its up and running which i guess over all im fine with but would like to not have to go through three screens on my phone to see its temp (temp dose not show on the screen in MM on my computer).   Any help would be great..

I updated to MM 2.8.6 today and i have bfgminer 3.10.0 installed...   I have Downloaded bfg 4.0 but have not installed it.  Not sure about using it since its a beta?Huh

Hey, not sure if this will help but perhaps...
Try adding either of those arguments to your Advanced Miner settings in the Scan Hardware section.

HI Nate
I am wondering when there will be OneSting Miner support.  I know Ben had sent some units out to Luke and I hope you Nate.
I am so totally tired of the twice a day crash that cgminer does no matter what system or version I run it on.
Hopefully soon.

Thanks for all the hard work Nate.

I don't have one of these and haven't heard anything about them. If Luke has added support then MultiMiner should work with them. I'll have to check in with Luke. I'm still playing catch-up.

Sorry for the silence folks. I've been out of town for two of the past three weeks on business. Then I've been playing catch-up on many different projects (mostly "real" work) after returning. I still have a ways to go but should be back to "normal" by next week.

But to give a few peeks at what is currently brewing, MobileMiner is now available on the Chrome Web Store:

And here's a little preview of some work that is coming along nicely:

Thanks Nate.
I know Luke has got one but he has been quiet on questions to how soon support was coming.  I have more of the OneString setups coming for review.  I hope he gets to it soon.

Great work on the Chrome app.  I have it installed and logged in.  I gave it 5 stars as well.

Thanks again.
