If we want to keep spending time on useless things, North America is not a continent. It's a sub-continent.

So, to recap:

Sent only to BTC customers.
Sent if you requested a refund and/or if you didn't (which one?) (this conflicts with the wording of the mail, that states that it's a follow up to the refund you requested).

Who has data conflicting with those two points?

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

Ever hear of NAFTA
So sorry, I forgot about the free trade agreement that combined the court systems of canada and the USA.  Thanks you effing moron.

This thread must be one of the worst threads gmaxwell and miningbuddy deal with on a daily basis.

Even if hashfast_cl isn't around anymore responding to random dribble and reporting every post, there are still likely some users looking for hashfast info who have to flag these useless and completely off topic posts.

Self reporting: now.

Gmaxwell:  What is the point of having a newbie section if you're going to let hordes of them arrive everyday and troll?

Ignore is only useful when people don't return with alts every few days.
What's the point of having a 'Stats' thread that being used for a refund investomer victims bitch-fest; take it to a new thread.

The refund issues are of great importance and hold considerable bearing on several issues, they belong in their own place IMHO

And for anyone who has an issue about this post:
How about a thread for your highnesses with Omni vision, it'll have the ignore button locked for everyone so you don't have to bother censuring the rest of us...

AFAIK Canada is in North America which IMO makes them American too.

<derail>

Canadian's do not identify themselves as Americans. Being on the same "North American" continent means little.

Do you consider Mexico to be American ? Argentina for that matter ? Bolivia ?

When did they got the chips? Still not a single proof of a full board with all chips hashing.

So, you have a bunch of people who have received checks:
- They are all Batch I
- They are from USA and Canada (so not isolated to USA residents)
- They all paid with bitcoin

Two people, from batch one have NOT received checks and they both paid with US Dollars and one of them (dbbits) actually requested a refund.

Curious if there has been an update from Luke JR on BJ...  seems like it may have smoked on day nine.

Go to the Icedrill thread, they have several machines hashing.   Luke Jr was also sent one.

@DeaDTerra, with the amount of people involved in IceDrill how come nobody can come out and give any update at the most crucial time ?
Your negligence at keeping us updated is very likely to cause even more financial lost,
Between playing starcraft and launching ATMs do you have any time left to try save what's left of ID ?
Question : Have you at least had lawyers review the contract ?
I can give you guys a quick update.
We have received several test units that worked well, so we know that HF has the tech ready to go.
Two of ID members are currently in Canada, preparing the DC and waiting for full scale production to start.
We will have our Sierras soon.
Everything is ready to go and at the moment we are waiting for HashFast.
We are currently discussing with HashFast regarding the delay of the units and the failure to deliver within the guaranteed date.

I have to disagree with you. Your immature antics in the btmine thread, make it by far one of the worst threads.

Actually good news. They will fall for fraud attempt, now.
Batches 2-4, time to begin sending letters to get refunds. You'd better be fast.

Welcome to the party Joshv06.   This is what we are trying to figure out.
So far, ONLY people that paid with BTC have been forced refunds and ONLY batch one.
You are now the third batch 1 that paid USD and has NOT received a refund, and one of those three actually requested a refund and still has not received it.

My second BTC purchased miner has also been forced refunded without any communication with Hashfast.

Talking to an actual HF employee (i.e. Cara, rather than their service), seems to be impossible (so far).

You paid in USD, they don't care about you, yet.
1USD back then is still around 1USD today.
They're sorting people who paid in BTC first, because this is a much greater danger for them. This is just logic. Fraudster logic.

HashFast would have to prove that they didn't store the BTC somewhere. They would have to prove that they converted it at an exchange.
You could also subpoena Hashfast records and hire an investigator to comb through HashFasts BTC transactions log to figure out what happened to the BTC.
They have kept some of the Bitcoin they were sent.  I have posted one of the addresses already in this thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=262052.msg4459335#msg4459335
The address 17Vj6tneMEueGgS64aEiNr1fHurEiEHZas still has the Bitcoin that was sent there.

It does not require an investigator to determine if some of the Bitcoin payed by customers is still held by HashFast.
Just trace it back from 17Vj6tneMEueGgS64aEiNr1fHurEiEHZas to HashFast's Bitcoin address 17hCi8apMUkzzLLJgUwfXxRJuykuo5Lcur

Of course you have a choice.

Anyone who doesn't think you have a choice: please PM me your address, I'll be sending you $1 payments for the purchase of your homes.  (or better, if you happen to know the address of any person who doesn't believe they have a choice, please PM me their address, and I'll split the income I get buying their home for a dollar and flipping it with you).

Holy CRAP!

On what basis are they refusing to send customers property (BTC) back to their rightful owners?

Ought to get a judge to legally freeze that huge cache of BTC.

27 MILLION!?

Edit: Nevermind, I am an idiot. I didn't realize they already transferred it out to "unknown" parts of the blockchain.

Edit2: If you look through the transactions you can see some end points still are in [large cache's of] BTC. Whether it remains in hashfasts hands or not is up to an investigator.
