Batch 2 deadline is end of January IIRC
So they better start shipping batch 1 right now.

Give or take one week to ship the whole batch 1 and 2. Give or take one week for all of the units in batch 1 and 2 to arrive.

They should announce to have started shipping today.

Guess it makes sense to do mass action. Contact fenwick. Except I have certain trust issues - Occam's Razor helps.

If those trust issues are related to either me, or the mass action I am organizing, or the lawyer we are hiring, then I would appreciate if you could explain this.

I doubt it, I think they'll "refund" most of batch 2 too.
They don't have a single unit running apart from the 2 dodgy ones they shipped out "last year".

Icedrill is claiming to have received working prototypes working perfectly in mass, like 5+.

Hmm - maybe worth hanging in here...

I can give you guys a quick update.
We have received several test units that worked well, so we know that HF has the tech ready to go.
Two of ID members are currently in Canada, preparing the DC and waiting for full scale production to start.
We will have our Sierras soon.
Everything is ready to go and at the moment we are waiting for HashFast.

We are currently discussing with HashFast regarding the delay of the units and the failure to deliver within the guaranteed date.

Cointerra is also not exactly stellar in it's attempts, full week after finished boards to miner hashing at 80% nominal speed:

Who knew they will have a video like this before HF?

In retrospect, KnC abbility to do all this work in a single day looks from another world.

Uhm.

I can confirm that this exact unit is en-route (via Fedex International Priority) to the IceDrill research/engineering facility where it will undergo rigorous evaluation. ETA: Friday 3 Jan.

I've asked for an investor meeting to Willem and Ludvig 3 days ago without any response, Thus ....

I herein would like to invite you, IceDrill / HashFast investors, to a private meeting to discuss the future of IceDrill and our relationship with Hashfast.

Hi All

I've not yet had a chance to discuss it with DT as he's currently in France with sketchy internet.

That said, we wholeheartedly embrace this initiative by Transisto, much more so because it is formed by someone outside the IceDrill team.

My main reason for supporting the idea is that it essentially forms an informal "investor board" which would make my life of investor and information management much easier, to say the least.

To put the requirement of the initiative into perspective, you need to realise that information in the bitcoin mining business is extremely valuable and can loosely be classified into 3 categories:

1. Publically shareable information (the stuff we post here).
2. Information we are unwilling to make public due to it being sensitive and sharing it would potentially be detrimental to the project itself: e.g. see game theory: Nash equilibrium.
3. Information we absolutely cannot share (legal NDAs).

This initiative gives us an outlet for much of #2.

Each of those have different subcategories, and I'd be happy to elaborate further on the dark art of information management in the context of the IceDrill's playbook if anyone's interested.

Anything I missed about those "5+ units" ?

If you mean this one:
We have received several test units that worked well, so we know that HF has the tech ready to go.
It's a clear scam attempt, again.
Anyone not willing to scam would have stated the exact count of units. Why go silent about it, if not to deceive?

Red flags reading. Maybe I should write a book about it.  Grin

EDIT : Hint :
Quote
We started shipping yesterday. Huzzah! The ship date has come later than we thought it would, and it’s not yet at full volume
They shipped 2.
See any similarity, there?

I think that we should all write a book about how HF changed us...
But how is that a scam? Their shares aren't trading, are you saying that they are buying time for HF?

No, I say anyone who would have received "several" working units from hashfast would have - first thing - been taking pictures of those and would have shown mining proof, to try and pacify their investors.
Anyone. But a scammer.

Anyone but a scammer and a mining company that didn't even bother taking pictures of the first sierra, right?

What other reason to say "several" when he kowns exactly it is 1.5 unit ? Or 3? Or 10?

I hate to defend HF and related, but "several" is a good datapoint if you ask me. It's several. It's not 3, it's not 100, it's several.

Sure. But if several is 5, then why not say "5"?
Classical deception, usually meaning "several" is at the bottom (or the top, but bottom is most likely, here) of whatever figures it includes.
Anyway, I'll shut up for now, good luck with the refunds.

Remember Batch 2-4 investors should work right away on their refunds. It might be too late soon.

To clear the air here on English.  "Several" means a number larger than two.  It could be three (but is a "unit" a whole Sierra or a board?).  It could be more than three.  It would be quite strange to refer to a number greater than, say, 10 as being "several", but not technically wrong in the sense that referring to a number less than 3 as "several" would be.
